Note: I don’t own anything on this program and I actually watched this show with my parents and grandparents when I was younger and remember this segment very well.
Great guy...lived in white house, tn.just down from my studio. Saw him often at local stores, businesses. As long as you acted like he was just another person you got the real Jim Varney. His house cleaner told me he had quite a few musicians over for drinks...
Omg Jim varney dedication to maintain character and role with punches his delivery and timing is on point I miss his comedy always makes me laugh no matter what stage in laugh I’m at or mood
it’s hard to portray someone drunk, it’s even harder to make it hard to tell if you’re actually drunk or acting…he certainly looked drunk and sounded like it 🤣😎 fun fact: Jim Varney was a classically trained thespian, he performed Shakespeare before he found stardom as Ernest
I didn't miss that guy named Jim. He's a great actor he played on a TV show Alice it was flowed. Worked there on the show anyhow that's a great show. I hope Jim's family doing time and I do miss the man so much. God bless you so. So much thank you
Did a 'lil googlin' found out this was September 20th 1985. I miss Jim been a fan since 1982. When visiting my grandparents they'd watch people's court, and I'd wait for a Varney commercial.
Jim Varney is one of my most favorite comedians of all time.
Him and Pee-Wee Herman, my 2 favourite grown up children 🌹🌹

Mr. Varney is so funny.
Jim Varney was on there? I didn't know that 😀
not a shock, he started out in that neck of the woods doing regional commercials so had to have had been known to producers
Is this real
Guest star, and given his character comedy he was a perfect fit.
Never doubt the thoughts of Willy Bob
