Isn't that the truth. When television had good strong male role models. And all the insinuated messages were about family and being good and doing the right thing, being a good person being honest and moral and contributing in a positive way to society
Did this once at a karaoke party. Could not figure out what to sing after a couple of songs and a few drinks so I looked one up on RUclips on the phone. Brought laughter and memories to the house.
@@jkozar532 I'm very fun at parties! I fortunately live in a cosmopolitan city where all the parties I go to are with other Woke folks and Social Justice Warriors.
RIP Archie Campbell, I have said for years that you were comedic gold. You were probably the most underrated funny man in all comedic history. You are very much missed and I still wish some network, any network would pick up Hee Haw and show the reruns of this masterpiece in all it's simplistic genius.
When the Circle network came out in 2020 they played it every day at 1pm. I was just diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and I tell you what...that got me through! We all need to contact them to put it back on. I already have
I was a young man... who loved watchin' "Hee Haw" Then time decided to just march right on I thought I might complain right to "Me Ma" She told me I'd have to just write my own song Where oh where... is Hee Haw tonight? Why did you leave me here all alone? I searched the world over and thought I'd found true love But Hee Haw had ended and "Pfft!!" it was gone.
I loved sitting with family watching Hee Haw on Saturday night. Was lucky to Archie Campbell as a dinner guest at our home one night. He was the cousin of my mom's best friend. He was so down to earth, kind, and had us entertained for hours with stories from the show. A memory I will always treasure.
I loved this show. After football practice was over we always had to run off the practice field till we got past our game field and we always sang the chorus of this song “Where oh where are you tonight.”❤ 1973-76
"When I was younger, my father would tell me, Do not make faces, or you'll stay that way, I didn't listen to what he was saying, That's why my face is like this today... (Make face and sing) Where, oh where are you tonight? Why did you leave me here all alone? I searched the world over, and thought I'd found true love, you met another and PFFT you were gone..."
Back in the day, everyone took a bath on Saturday evening. 🙋♂️ You were probably about 10 years old and got up around 8 o'clock that morning to watch Scooby-Doo, The Pink Panther and Josie and the Pussycats. And eat Honeycombs cereal.
Where oh where are you tonight? Why did you leave me all alone? I searched the World over and thought I found a new love. You made another and pffffft and you were gone.
Archie Campbell bought this song to the producers early on. Who owns the copyrights? I do! Halfway through the season Archie runs in to the producers, cut my friend a check! He was the real writer. .
Archie Campbell ruled!
I sure do miss when TV was wonderful 😊🙏
Me too

This brings back memories watching Hee Haw with my grandparents. I miss those good times
Rest in peace Loretta Lynn and Johnny cash
And conway
And George Lindsey, Tom T. Hall, and so many others. I'm not a country fan, but I greatly respected the talent on that show.

This is an official Campbell song.
I miss the 70's and 80s. Everyone had a sense of humor and no one got cancelled.
Yup, us white men could make fun of anyone, and they didn't dare defend themselves. I see why you miss it, and I don't.

What a funny funny show. When I was I was growing up we would watch it every Sunday from a station out of St Louis.
Archie Campbell was a real trouper. Too bad HEE HAW couldn’t be done today. The social justice weenies would be all over it.
