I'm new to dip nails and going with SNS because the brand is Vegan and Cruelty free, also seems to have the most natural ingredients. I almost went with OPI, didn't know that they test on animals. Wish there were more SNS videos showing colors on the actual nails because the selection is so wide, not sure which one to go with. I only need one best nude for white skin and one best medium-dark-red. Edit: I think I need the color briefly showed at 0:29, what's the name?
So I’m reading my own comment posted above a year later. SNS sucks. Couldn’t even answer my question about the color. I also reached out to their customer service and they were not able to recommend me 1 red and 1 nude colors. That’s like nails 101 basis. I ended up ordering the shades I thought would be good but due to lack of online swatches, the colors are totally terrible and look much different than online. The worst nude I’ve ever seen (N19), looks like if you dress up as a dead for Halloween it would be your color. Wasted money on this order and not able to even use it, had this in my cabinet for year and just came back to it today but the colors still suck :( Guess SNS didn’t want me as a Client.
We recommend using a separate small jar or use the SNS French dip mold to reduce waist. Each application usually only requires a very small amount of powder.
It's best to apply natural set before the color application so you create the apex on the nail, prevent color absorption onto the nail and create a strong base on the nail for longer lasting manicure. Applying natural set sheer onto of the color helps prevent yellowing of light color dip powder and creates a top coat that makes the manicure last longer.
I've been getting SNS for years at the salon and they do the opposite: natural sheer on the bottom and color on top. When I come back, product is filed off. If there's some extra product on the nail its the sheer- better than over-filing my nails or having color show through! I get 3+ weeks of very vibrant nails
Bond is also a term for Dehydrator, I use a dehydrator from another brand and a primer, both are essential and work just fine for me. I use that as a first step.
You have to do 5 fingers in one hand, then apply the second coat after you finish that hand, going back to the finger you started the first coat. Then, proceed to the other hand and do the same. Don’t touch nails for 5 minutes so they can dry properly.
I've never seen anyone apply color before filing the nails. Maybe this is an American thing, I don't know. But this is Definitely not how we do in India. We first file, prep the nail fully neat and clean and then comes the color.
Did you have something on the nails already before you started with super gelous bas and natural set? The nails looked shiny

all the layer dry itself dowe need lamp like a gel? thks
No lamp or UV/Led light needed. The powder drys by itself, just make sure to use the sealer dry liquid as directed in the video.
So you discard what's left in the jar after every service?

How long do you wait for the dip to dry before next coat ?
If you are working on both hands then you can apply the next coat right after completing the rest of the fingers.
Thank you so much 🥰🥰
Sealer dry is same than activator?
Is there a different between applying the natural powder before the color and applying only in the end on top of color? I’ve seen both!

Hi! What happens if you don’t use the clear set powder ? Does this last step help in preventing cracking ?
What I understand is that the clear set powder keeps the color vibrant.

@@kelseydalziel3514 we recommend using natural set as the base coat and natural set sheer as the top coat for an sns manicure for best results.
Is there a list of everything we need to purchase to do at home?
I love
Just to be sure, we don't.need a uv light like gel nails, right?
No, you don't need UV.
@@rainacherienne1010 Where I get my nails done they use the UV light at the end... I guess for the top coat?
@@maryparris601 Maybe but the idea of dip nails versus gel nails is to be healthier and not use UV.
at what point do we add the BOND ? I didnt see that used here
The sns product is pre bonded.
Bond is also a term for Dehydrator, I use a dehydrator from another brand and a primer, both are essential and work just fine for me. I use that as a first step.
All Sns products are pretended so you don't need to add bond.
What colour is this please? I love it...
Can u tell me what color that was??
Can you tell me, why isn't my top coat shiny? I washed my nails, and then wiped with alcohol. What am I doing wrong?

You don't need to use alcohol onto of the top coat. We recommend applying 2 layers of Sns top coat (the red cap bottle) and letting it air dry.
is all that applied on her natural nails theres no tips on them is there

Sns powder is bumpy and uneven. You file the nail to the perfect shape and smooth the nail.
Yeah. It can be an American thing. I hate that many places don’t do a manicure before applying fake nails/color.

That shape and colour is sooo ugly
It happens when a color that is not part of her palette is used! She’s probably a cold palette. That color can be perfect on the right skin shade!
Voice so annoying I muted it
No need to be an asshole
That's rude to comment on someone's voice.
worst video about SNS
