Honestly this is the very first easy to follow tutorial for dip nails. I have watched so many other tutorials and nothing was as easy to follow as this one, thank you!
This has been the most satisfying sns video ive seen so far. I just ordered some stuff individually from sns but i didn't order the natural set powder... can i use the natural sheet set powder instead for that step??
Don't you have to use gel base for natural set and sheer? And gelous base for just colours? I noticed that in this video they have used gelous base for all?
I got this done today for the first time and im really worried about the tips popping off. Someone tell me how strong they are pls, im going mad trying not to put too much pressure on my nail tips
I am getting this done this week and I have some question I want to get the tips but I want a French manicure and I want them different colors could I get that with sns nails?
I just got SNS nails put on & it was done nothing like this. She dipped bursh in liquid then in powder & applied to my nails w the brush. I literally have 3 broken nails like 2 days later.
When you put the sealer you have to wait atleast 2 minutes to dry before buffing or filing. When you done put the sealer again, wait 2 minutes than top coat. First top coat you have to polish quick without going over the same spot again. Than second coat you can evenly polish it slowly. Than wait 2 minutes to dry
I tried this and my nails look a mess! I’m pretty anal about my work and no matter what I did, it seems a step is missing. The gel isn’t drying properly and no I am not applying a lot. The final shine isn’t even there. I even tried applying actual clear gel polish and curing under UV light and it was even worse. What am I doing wrong? 😩
@@SNSNailsOfficial I figured it out. I didn’t know there was a difference with curing under a UV or LED lamp. I have a UV and that apparently takes longer to cure. Also didn’t know gel polish would still be “tacky” until top coat app & longer curing time. Now my nails finally look like the shop did them. I’m happy!!!
@@chooniex I figured it out. I needed to wait before dusting the powder off to allow it to solidify before. Then dust off and apply second coat and do the same. I was dusting powder off immediately after I dip. 🥴
I tried it many years ago and I’m allergic to Acrylic as well but it did not cause a reaction for me but a good thing to do is do a test nail and see how it goes
A little late for a response on this to help you but … in addition to brushing off the extra powder, after you coat each mail with the base, wipe the excess liquid of the brush before putting it back in to bottle. A few Back and forths on a paper towel will due. Also, after the completion of each set, I clean the brush with the brush saver solution. Just wipe off the excess base, close your base brush on you brush saver bottle and give it a few swishes, shakes, whatever. Then remove it, wipe off any excess and back in the base bottle. 😆💅🏻
Uhh, how is this different from the acrylic nails we all got in the 90’s until we were sold on gel because it was “healthier” for our nails. Come on now.
It's different compound I had acrylics many time and I would never go back after getting SNS , so much lighter on the fingers , note flexible but just as strong. Acrylic is like having little bricks on your finger tips and so much healthier for the nails too.
@@courtneyfox2497 True. However, "acrylic" and dip are the same thing. They are both called polymer powders that respond to a chemical reaction of polymerization turning them into acrylic/ plastic. "Dip powder" is just a finer grit than the typical powder used with a monomer; therefore, dip powder can be used with monomer as well just under different pearl ratios in comparison to the standard polymer powder. Which explains why they are just as hard as "acrylic." So basically what I'm trying to explain is dip is another form of acrylic without the use of monomer. Hope this helps. 🤗💅🏾🥂
We don't recommend doing a fill because you never know if water or bacteria will get trapped in between the layers. For the safest and healthiest way, you should always do a new set :)
We agree that the work is very precise. However you do have beautiful nails that last 3+ weeks plus SNS doesn't damage your nails when removed properly and the removal process takes only 5 minutes.
@@SNSNailsOfficial The removal takes me 15-30 minutes with pure acetone soaking on my nails. That is hardly safe nor healthy and very time consuming. Especially dangerous because you are not suppose to breath in the vapors. SDS for acetone is to use outside in ventilated area and wear a respirator, which I do. SO please explain how I can remove this in 5 minutes and safely?
Because you can ask to have a gel top coat that will add much more shine than regular dipping top coats, and that gel top coat requires to be cured under a LED/UV light.
This is honestly the best tutorial I have come across, so far, for dip-powder nails.
Honestly this is the very first easy to follow tutorial for dip nails. I have watched so many other tutorials and nothing was as easy to follow as this one, thank you!
Excellent tutorial!
I love SNS there products are wonderful.
instead of the half of the fake nail is it ok if i do full fake nail
This looks gorgeous. No LED lamp or stupid nail drills
Nail drills aren’t stupid! Work smarter with them not harder….
Most salons use nail drill to smooth nails after finish dipping.
They are so pretty!
Just got mine done. Its fab😄
Same I love them

We recommend using natural set powder to insure the best outcome
U make it seem effortless
Thank you, it definitely takes practice but I promise it becomes easy sooner rather than later.
Hi! Does the natural clear set powder help in preventing cracks?
Great video!
Before applying top coat, are you supposed to apply sealer first and let it dry?
Yesv

Hello, I would like to learn dipping. please somewhere where they give classes or dipping courses
go to mysnsacademy.com for free online tutorials
Can you please add link to nail tips
Omg yes I love the nail tips!! I wish I knew were to get them from
Do I need a UV light for the top coat?
yes
@Yamile Sotelo-Rodriguez the top coat is a gel top coat, so yes, they need a UV light
I got this done today for the first time and im really worried about the tips popping off. Someone tell me how strong they are pls, im going mad trying not to put too much pressure on my nail tips
Hello. Where are these tips from?
I am getting this done this week and I have some question I want to get the tips but I want a French manicure and I want them different colors could I get that with sns nails?
You can absolutely do a French manicure with SNS! To get the instructions on how to create the French look please see our channel playlist library.
Why is she not REPLYING to anyone asking for a LINK to the nail tips???
what is that first filer to buff your nails?
I just got SNS nails put on & it was done nothing like this. She dipped bursh in liquid then in powder & applied to my nails w the brush. I literally have 3 broken nails like 2 days later.
I think that’s acrylic then
that’s not dip nails, that’s acrylic
Cool!
What glue for tips?
My sns is not drying good even after waiting 5 minutes, and when i file big chunks of product comes off as its still wet, what do i do?
When you put the sealer you have to wait atleast 2 minutes to dry before buffing or filing. When you done put the sealer again, wait 2 minutes than top coat. First top coat you have to polish quick without going over the same spot again. Than second coat you can evenly polish it slowly. Than wait 2 minutes to dry
My real nails are this long do I apply same way
Is the dip suppose to be flat like gel polish or thicker like acrylic?
between the two, but more on the thicker side

If you are having issues with the product please email tech@snsnails.com and we will be happy to help you with the application process.
@@SNSNailsOfficial I’ll be doing my nails again later today and will reach out. Thank you for replying!!!

You just gotta let it naturally air dry and do two coats.

Is this product good if I'm allergic to acrylic?? Any recommendations for allergic ppl specially if I like longer nails does this work. ???
It’s basically acrylic powder :(
I tried it many years ago and I’m allergic to Acrylic as well but it did not cause a reaction for me but a good thing to do is do a test nail and see how it goes
Hi u are allergic to liquid witch is MMA is ilegal To in usa most nail salon used that because is cheap try a nail tech that used EMA liquid.
Thanks
Can I do these steps with any dip powder?
This order is created for SNS dip powder. We recommend following the instruction that are provided by the dip powder company you are using.
What is the glitter color?
Gelous Color 176
✨✨✨so pretty ✨✨✨
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Am I the only one doing this during quarantine because I have nothing better to do
gonna try this but use kiss brand that one works great and great prices
link to nail tips?
Yo mama
Is this the same thing as Dip Nail Polish? There's this video and in it this lady said she had on Dip Nail Polish!
How do you prevent your brushes from hardening? I use a brush and remove all the loose powder before I go onto the next layer.

Most of the time you have to file the dip powder to smooth it out. You just don’t go to buffing.
Uhh, how is this different from the acrylic nails we all got in the 90’s until we were sold on gel because it was “healthier” for our nails. Come on now.
Probably because of the removal of gel nail nails and the fact that you have to put them under a uv light isn't very good(aging your hands).
It's different compound I had acrylics many time and I would never go back after getting SNS , so much lighter on the fingers , note flexible but just as strong. Acrylic is like having little bricks on your finger tips and so much healthier for the nails too.

@@praisethemosthigh1316 that really helps Thankyou for clearing that up for me ❤️

Although I cannot imagine having that much s*** on my nails, it does look pretty.
Can you fill these nails in?

They look good, but omg... So damn time consuming!

Wait what ? 5 min removal?????

Thats too long of a process for me!👎

i did the exact same steps ... AND IT DID NOT COME OUT LIKE THIS. IT CAME OUT HORRIBLE!
it may have been that you didn't wait enough for each coat to dry an i'm assuming they used a UV light to help the polish dry
What part did you have trouble with? I know the gelous base coat can’t be applied too thick and for top coat it has a 3 min dry time
SNS Dip never requires UV light.
Are you using all SNS products?
SNS Nails Product - Official I was! I just learned the differences in class
I’m trying to learn these so I can do peoples nails at a young age 😂
if this is the proper way to apply sns dip, then why do many nail technicians use a UV light?
For SNS nails there's no UV light needed...this is why it's healthier & why I'm def going to try.
Because you can ask to have a gel top coat that will add much more shine than regular dipping top coats, and that gel top coat requires to be cured under a LED/UV light.
In depth but it's only four and a half minutes? That's hard to believe.
Too thick
Stay long time but damage your nail i work in a nail salon
Most disgusting thing I have watched

How is this different to acrylic nails?
and is it also called dip powder?
