I love WSBK and MotoGP, but the baggers are brilliant to watch from a racing perspective...fair play to Jeremy McWilliams, what a difference wrestling one of these around compared to the 2 stroke GP bikes he used to ride. Massively entertaining, and flipping competetive.
A BMW GTL would own the race without anything other than tires. It has bags that can be removed it has tour pack that can be removed it should be allowed to race in the class. That would be fun to see
You can remove the bags on the Harley’s and Indians as well but being the name of the series is “baggers” they have to have the names on lmfao. It would not come close to owning the class with just tires
It's definitely like going to a circus and watching a sideshow... The weirdos are out there strutting their stuff. Once you take a minute though, you realize how fun it actually is watching these beasts do battle. It's a bearded lady vs wolf boy wrestling match and I can't look away... I've seen a bagger do laps at a local track here in Utah and it certainly looked like hard work. The wheelbase alone is about the distance from here to the moon...
It has to be an incredible amount of work for highly talented riders. Every one of them races other classes on true race, bikes, and to jump. From one class to another. It has to be incredibly hard. I love watching them they sound great but they're damn slow
I don't know the rules dominating the sport but I believe there gonna be major improvement performance if they remove all these useless stuff such as bags, non aerodynamic fairing etc so that to become more "racing machines", the same I believe about the truck racing you mentioned, they restrict their top speed to 160km/h although they can hit over 200km/h and have more fun
Yeah buy a bike and throw more money at the bike than it's worth to get it to actually go around a corner and brake and still be slower than a 600cc. Screams fat America all day 😂😂😂😂
It looks crazy, but I am not sure I want to watch folk racing heavy US cruisers. It's a bit like watching folk go motocrossing on Hayabusas. Each to their own I suppose. 👍
I aint kiddin . Only reason my scoot ever had bags was cause there was a she . In the bag should be rolled up shotgun chaps a bandanna/flydanna an a clutch with mascar eye liner lipstick n a plug , zipped . If it isnt in one of the bags , he cheated .
This is not a real touring bike race. The footstep shouldn't be there. So if it's about motorace with a touring bike, at least use a proper touring bike so that people can see what a touring bike capable of If it's for serious race, and that's why the footstep must be adjustet, than the engine and so is the rest of the bike Unless, they mass produce that version of the touring bike
Thanks for missing the entire point. You may return to obscurity now. I'd suggest you educate yourself on the series and race class... why it started, whom it is meant to target...and have a greater understanding of the rule set... each of these bikes is built upon a STOCK chasis and limited engine configuration using factory performance parts available to the general public... The bikes are already Mass produced..... BTW: the word you're looking for is "homologation" in which a factory is required to produce a limited number of cars/bikes to compete in a race class...

Bucket list is to go and see one of these races live!
I'm waiting for the pillion class before I sign up. 😉😁

It's amazing fun to watch
Reckon you'd give this one a go?

I'll take a look at that! Thanks Thomas

Id be keen to see if they ever introduced one of those bikes into it
@@absolutedan9173 That would be fun wouldn't it.

For sure. When I'm next in the USA I'd love to go and watch one of these races

This has been a thing for 20 years. Loooooove watching this.
Really? I need to try and find some old videos hah!
Yeah... I'd like to see the evidence as well...
@@shenanigansofmannanan it was on TV back in Australia at that time. Every weekend after the supercars, but different channel.
If they allowed the BMW K1600B Bagger the races would be more meaningful and with very different results. 😊
ikd if watching one bike beat the entire field is meaningful or fun racing lol
I love the series
it's insane

I’ll bet Otto and his school bus would kick all of their asses!🚌------🛵
Yamaha fjr1200?
😂😂😂
If at the end of the race one of the winners “bags” isnt full of “her shit” they should be disqualified .
😂😂😂😂
