Rick could easily start building specialty bikes for people with deep pockets. There's no better job than the one you love doing, and if he can line up enough well-to-do clients, he can make a very good living building bikes just like this one.
Not if he can’t put the rear axle on the right way 😂
Potato potardo.@@ILikebigRuttz
@@ILikebigRuttz IT DOSNT EVEN MATTER WICH WAY IT GOES
@ It very much matters.
Definitely one of the best AF's I've seen. It looks factory. Note to self these 15 minute dream bike videos are really the result of months if not years of skill and hard work (and ££££)
Glad you enjoyed it!
What an incredible job. The man has got skills.
Brilliant build. Absolute one of the best! Bring more like for us to see! Eye Candy= Air Box, Forks, Titanium Tank, that HGS PIPE. Love HGS. Excellent welding skills. I love the work from my European Brothers! Happy New Year!!!
Thanks for the kind words! Happy New Year to you too!
What a beautiful thing to watch. What an art, building one from the ground up. It's like watching someone paint a picture.
Go Polska! Thank you Rick Vork. That was a pro quality build for sure. I hope that someone at Honda sees this video so they can see the possibilities. I think that if Honda brought back 2 strokes into production, they would sell all of them. The look great, sound great, and cost at least $2k less than the 4 strokes. We need another manufacturer to start producing 2 strokes again... especially if KTM does not survive restructuring.
GREAT VIDEO, especially at 4:15. That music made me wanna ballet dance. Lol
Now that KTM’s open the door for all the other bike builders
Phenomenal work guys absolutely amazing love this idea all too much
Glad you like it!
Amazing 👍 Rick pulled off one special build.
What a show off. I wish I could show off like Rick. DAMN. DIRT BIKE ARTIST. Very nice work. ☝👍
I agree 😉
@dirtniron great channel bro.
Awesome build, great video 👏👏
Even when the motor was put together and the clutch cover went on it was already a work of art 🎨
Then the frame welding 👌, the triple clamps, the Showa suspension, the exhaust with it's carbon fibre.....he knows what he wants, and he wants what he knows 👍
The smile as he did final assembly...
Oh, and by the way, it looks great...
That's one happy boy, right there ✅
Glad you liked it!
Beautiful bike Rado. Last few bikes on channel have been top notch. Don't see you as much as we used too really enjoy the vids u do put out. Still love the first ktm u did the best I still have that similar bike. A 2005 MXC version with the larger tank.
Brilliant work
So sick!! Rick is a real master mechanic.
its absolutely amazing work from rick💥💥💥💯💯💯💯
That thing is sick aside from the dodgy coatings on the hubs and triple clamps.
2-Stokes 4-ever. I love it.
Grew up with them, love them, 4T are good, would also own one..
I love 2 strokes!!😊 I like the other guy grew up on them. Started riding in 1973 and have owned several bikes over the decades. Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, never owned a Kawi, not because I didn't want one, I just never owned one. I've had mx bikes and enduros. All 2 smokers!! I'm 60 now and just bought a KTM 150 xc w
Yes,!...😂🏁👊🔥
Everyone can thank KTM for 2T still being alive !! Rick did a great job, kudos to him
Ha-hum... Yamaha
Beta, Sherco
My dream build, magnificent...chef kiss
Awesome build great Dream bike, For most . Clean factory looks
the most perfect & beautiful bike i ever dreamed of!...💖👏🔥👊🔝💫😎🫶🏁
Wicked looks straight out of the box
That's awesome. Great job Rick!!
What a superb job! I really like that he used whatever was best, regardless where it came from
It's a pity the build didn't take longer, I was enjoying the calendar in the background.
Fantastic work!!👌👏🏻👏🏻
The netherlands has a great mx culture & gnarly sand tracks. you shouldt visit once
I'm a Yamaha guy, first bike was a Yamaha PW50 and been racing YZ250's since '05. But as a teen I bought an 89 CR125. That bike was great. 3 of my buddies had 98-00 RM125's and they couldn't touch my bike on a straight. Could wheelie in every gear in the sand on the CR but the RM's could barely wheelie in 5th in the sand. Hate honda 4-strokes but love their 2-strokes.....just not as much as Yamaha's
this combo could be my dream enduro bike build
This is the coolest build I've seen since around 1977, when someone spooned an XR400 motor into a Maico chassis. Same thing, but the opposite.
BOSS
Very nice job!! 100!!!
AMAZING!
This is a proper Honda ;-)
Cheers.
We agree!
Es com un unicornio 😍 espectacular!!! Gran trabajo felicidades 👌
Awesome! If you cut and weld the frame you lose all of the flex characteristics built into the frame from the factory. The bike will be cool but it will never handle like it should. But that happens with all bikes that have frames cut and different engines installed. Part of the game.
Hi! We heat treated the frame before and after(during) welding. There is a lot of flex in the frame because of that👌
2 stroke heaven
That’s pretty cool I like builds with a bit of engineering involved.
Say's yes to me. The less 2 strokes we see and more 4 strokes we have lost something as as a X racer the expense of a 4 stroke is ridiculous but also the fun a 2 stroke gives and have raced many KTM SX bikes but this build is very nice and yes there is a business there as it looks like Honda built it.
That bike is perfect 😍
HONDA CR-500
BEST MOTOCROSS ENGINE /BIKE EVER MADE !
Realy cool!
Hella Kool!!! Great work!!
Nice bike. Like the music too.
gotta get jett lawrence to ride that thing
Amazing!
Beautiful but 😂the funny welds shows up 😂
Beautiful Honda build DirtNIron.
thanks bro, glad you like it!
Great job!!
Thank you!
Awesome job 🤙🏻
thanks man, glad you like it!
AMAZING
Zur Überschrift,
Wir wären alle besser dran😉 Däng,Däng,Däng💨
You bet!
Amazing build
I love it!
Should have put a Kickstart on it too. The spot where its missing look funky. Electric and Kickstart would be cool
Omgod!!! I don't get envious much, but damn that thing is sexy. Great job, you could make alot of money if you put those into production.
your a winner! sweeeettt
Wow beautiful bike
Nice build!!!
What moment should the bolts have? - All Nm they can 😁
Calibrated elbow 👍😉
Definitely a really cool hybrid!!😮
Glad you think so!
Super sick.
Absolute beauty! Awesome build. BUT for someone who emphasized wanting the bike to look normal or factory built... the rear axle being put in backwards really stands out. Just not a good look.
I appreciate the feedback, thanks!
Not sure if its the same bike but I saw Hunter Lawence riding a CR with a KTM 2 stroke power plant about 18 months ago?
It's a beautiful bike ❤
👍 Nice
Bring back 2 stroke nation.
KTM would go the way of the dinosaurs in a week. 6 speed WR , 18' rear wheel and a 3.0 gallon tank. I would order one today.
Sensacional 👏👏👏✊✊✊
awesome bike!
glad you like it!
Gas gas
He'll of a job 👏 👌 looks factory , FOR SALE ..? .?
❤
Looks like it came from the factory
i would love to ride it
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Rear axel is the wrong way
The nut unscrews itself easyer that way.
Se how its org
Nice bike love to ride it ❤
Perfect 👍
I need one
What if Honda never stopped making 2 strokes?
-I'd probably simp for Honda the same way I've simped for Yamaha most of my life, and recently KTM.
Funny how Honda has always hated 2 strokes despite making some of the sickest in history. It's a shame, but I feel like Honda went from an exciting innovator to half heartedly following the pack. I can't remember the last time I was truly excited by anything Honda released, I think it was probably the Talon SxS but I couldn't afford one. Actually, I've never even ridden in a SxS so I'm not sure if that even counts. Don't get me wrong tho, I like Honda and my "old" CBR-1000rr ("Fire Blade") is one of my favorite bikes, but they just don't make anything exciting that isn't already offered by someone else. The new "Triple R" is cool and all, but I think I'd take a BMW S/M-1Krr, and I'd buy the new Hornet 1K (if Honda actually brought it to the US) but only because it's way cheaper than a MT-10.
At this point, putting that KTM motor in the Honda is like seeing my elderly grandfather, on oxygen with one foot in the grave, hardcore break dancing on the tombstone of my other grandfather- a sad crying shame that it's happening, but at the same time seeing it is just so incredible that I can't help cheering it on, shouting "Hell Yeah! You go old man! Show em how it's done!!!" 😂
I want to know the weight, torque & HP for this 300.
I found 2024 CRF450f = wet weight 245 lbs, 34.1 lb.-ft. torque & 51.9 hp
That clutch is shot
I love always honda 2 stroke engine
I owned one of Hondas last 2 strokes. 2003 CR 250 and I think they stopped building 2 strokes a year or two later
07 was the last year for Honda 2 strokes. I still have a 03 CR 250 in great condition.👍
Is it a Konda or a KTONDA?
Why did Honda,Suzuki and kawi stop making them ? I know emissions reasons is one. The yz’s is basically still built off like a 06 era bike and they’ve not changed it much at all. Ktm I know has gone through many changes over the years to comply with emissions and stuff
With todays tech, why dont they just mass produce big bore or stroker kits to any bikes with cnc machines etc?
Would be cool to make a +2mm stroker crank for almost everything and have only minor mods needed to fit the cranks. Also big bore kits for all old and newer bikes, learner enduro and racing bikes. I own a 1991 dt125r since 2003 and would love some stroker crank for it (without needing crank machining and mismatching drive gears) like the dt200 stroker builds have)
I would be cool with taking 0,5mm off my crankcase and fitting a 52-54mm crank instead of the 57mm one everyone uses. There is a bike called TZM150 from Yamaha sold in foreign countries and that crank have correct dimensions other than the case but I can't find measurements 🥲
Why the "RC" denomination ? it stands for ??
Apparently thats how Honda names their prototypes
Very cool but a 3D printed air box is definitely going to crack
Rc300?
Next cr will probably be electric 😉
Base gaskets around the wrong way
Damn build in Germany
Cool project and glad the guy got to build the bike he wanted, but putting a KTM engine in a Honda frame is nothing like what a modern day Honda 2 stroke would be like 😂😂. I know guys who build Frankenstein hot rods, Ford body's, Chevy engines. But they don't claim it's how Ford would build a good car if they did it today.😂 They just say look at my cool hotrod.
i see very little or close to none torque used on the frame, engine mounts etc... according to "Keefer testing youtube" this is paramount int the handling of the bike
what if they never stopt making 2strokes .. i would drive a new one not my 25 year old cr .. very nice build really engineer skill
Beau travail !!!
Too late, the stark varg is out and the EX version is out.
Honda should make this bike to replace the KTM’s
Just buy a TM Racing 300 ... even better than what you just built 😅
Probably cheaper too
Beta 300 is great too and has kyb suspension
Oh, if I would have so much skill.
