Great build! I always thought that it was wild that they put the 450 engine in the 250 chassis. The lower engine mount is "creative". 😉👍🏻

Bro, your builds are always phenomenal. I’ve got an 07 yz450f that I’m wanting to turn into a wr, but I always hesitate, I love the 2 strokes, have a hard time justifying it

I have owned and raced or ridden a bunch of Yamaha YZ-F 4 strokes since buying my 1999 YZ 400F. I bought new the 2013 YZ 250F that this bike is based on. My 250 was so good. Thin, great-turning. Great suspension. I always have felt that Yamaha should have just fuel-injected the 2009 YZ 450 motor and put in the same bi-lateral frame the 250 used for several years until they had the backwards-motor 450 all worked out, which was the 2014 model. I feel they would have had many more top racers want to be on that bike instead of the often-hated 2010 era bike.

Very great bike! You did an awesome job man. After riding dirt bikes here in Arizona for years it’s great to see a more off-road bike no one does that. Also enjoyed your comment about wanting the wiring to go exactly where it goes it’s so true I know the feeling going to the computer back and forth made me laugh. Very good job man perfect.

I wish I Can Find a bike this Clean Here in Hawaii Everything Rust and Corrosion so Fast , 2-3 years , I’d Buy this Bike from You seeing the Care you put into Lock tight the Bolts and Loads of Grease it’s Guaranteed to Last another 400+ Hrs , I: Not even near a pro Rider that will Push Limits of the Parts maybe the Suspension with My Extra LBS of weight 🤣😂I put on past my 4th Decade on this Earth

To be honest I wouldn’t watch your channel if you didn’t get this bike it was very helpful since my nine threw a rod bearing all the videos you put out were very good help I wish the builder would have went over tq specs and sequence and how to get it in time a little more in depth

Why buy the new stuff when you can rebuild previous models to your liking. Epic build. Those tiny details, bolt finish and blue caps really gives this a great finish. Also I haven't seen a steering damper like what you installed. tiny and hidden unlike track bikes which stick out too much.

When you get your wheels redone with cerakote or powder coating, is it cheaper than buying new wheels?
yes it can be cheaper, but the most important was to keep the stock hubs in order to keep stock speedo on WR, all the aftermarket wheels are little different. I use aftermarket often, but some older bikes its better to redo the stock hubs with new rims and spokes
