You left the Church founded by Jesus for something man-made that suits you better. You think Jesus likes that? No! That's called arrogance. Remember what Jesus said in Mt 7:21-27. You should pray on this. In 1 Tm 3:15 we are told that the Church (singular) is the pillar and ground of the truth. Not some man- made way but, the Holy Church left to us by Christ.

The title alone is wrong coz tell me who Christians are?. And do you presume that Catholics are not Christians?. There is only one true faith and Church and she is the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. All other religions are rebelling against the Catholic Church founded by Jesus Christ and instead listen to false teachers like this guy. You have said it right that all other Christians split from the true Church of Jesus(Catholic Church) built on Peter as written in Mathew 16:16-19, John 21:14-19 etc.. and therefore, they fulfilled a prophesy in 2 Timothy 4:1-5. Where is it mentioned in the Bible that the Bible alone is the supreme authority?.2 Thessalonians 2:15 explains traditions. John 17: 17 says thy word is truth and the pillar of this truth is the Church( 1 Timothy 3:15). There is only one true Catholic Church who guides and preserves the truth(Word of God) against heretics and Jesus left a shepherd for His Catholic Church(John 21:14-19) and that authority has been passed on from Peter as the first pope to the current Pope. In fact the Bible is against the protestant false teachings of faith and grace alone as shown in these verses Ephesians 2: 8-10, Mathew 5:14-20, James 2:14-26, 2 Timothy 3:16 etc.. Also read about the stories of the rich man and lazarus, goats vs sheep etc.. So there is one faith, one body, one spirit, one Baptism, one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church under one lord Jesus Christ.

It was Good Friday and people were bowing down to a 12 ft statue and kissing it's feet. I was so convicted that I could not do it. I absolutely refused. My aunt cried all the way home because I would be going to "hell". Twenty years later my dad became born again, started a prayer group which became a church and was the pastor for 26 years. If I give you a road map that is a lie and convince you that it is the truth you will still end up lost. Luke 1:47 “And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.” Mary needed a Saviour. Did you know immaculate conception is a recent doctrine. The real Mary said, God my Saviour and in verse 48 called herself a handmaiden. Does that sound like the Mother of God to you? Please, lets take a look at John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” So we see here the birth of Jesus was what? The Word of God being made flesh. So if you believe Jesus, then you believe the Word of God. This is a huge problem to the Holy Mother Church. The Pope has more authority than the Scripture and is the vicar of Christ. Christ himself said what? John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” So we see Mary has nothing to do with personal Salvation, nor the Pope, nor a church, but only Jesus. Jesus the Word in flesh says in John 7:38 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” Not Mary, nor a church, not sacraments, nor good works, but just Jesus Christ in Salvation. What is Salvation? Every year the children of Israel would do an atonement (please look up Shiloh) and God would speak to his children. They needed to atone for their sin. Our sin carries a penalty called death. Romans 6:23“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” If you die without your sins being washed away you will die in your sins and end up in hell and will face the white throne of judgment. Revelation 20:14 “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” So how do I have this spiritual birth called Born Again. Religion does not deal with the sin problem. Their is only one way. Jesus said, I am the way! Jesus shed his blood for you and died for you, but the best part is he lives and rose from the dead. So he has power over death and sin, and so how can I have eternal life instead of the punishment of hell? Our sin is a transgression of God's law- The Ten Commandments. We are all guilty and worthy of hell before a Holy God. The Holy Mother Church does not teach you are 100% saved from wrath and purgatory is blasphemy against Jesus and here is why? Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” So who gives the gift? The church, no, God gives the gift. How do you accept the gift? Faith in forgiveness of sins. Romans 3:25 “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;” Otherwise Jesus had to personally die for your sins to satisfy God's wrath and if you accept him and turn from religion and sin he will save you. Galatians 3:13 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:” Christ paid for your curse of death and paid in full with his life. Now you will understand Romans chapter 5. The gift of Salvation is eternal and you can not lose it. 1John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” Notice the Word of God says that you can know if you have eternal life in Jesus Christ. look at the last verse in the chapter:And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. To sum it up: The true God unto eternal life is not through a church of any works. It is through the blood of the Lamb to wash away our sins unto eternal Salvation through the Spirit which brings sweet fellowship with the Father. I was saved in my truck and through the blood of the Lamb unto Salvation and not a church, but through the Word of God.

Im Catholic and I almost left the Church thanks to protestants teachings, but thank God I stayed and I am so glad. The more you discover the faith the more you fall in love with it. Yes is true, the Catholic Church has failed in many aspects but I forgive the Church; because number one the Church is made of humans, of sinners who make mistake one after another. People change but the one thing that doesn't change is the Word of God. So if you are looking for the perfect church you won't find it. Look for God with sincere heart and you will find Him. I love the Lord, I have a personal relationship with Him, and I am fulfilled.
By the way, many things people say about the Catholic Church is a lie. Many of the people who convert are the ones who barely go to church, who never read the bible, who don't pray and then when they convert they say so much stuff that is not true. True Catholics live the faith; true Catholics have a personal relationship with God! So, to many of you out there confused and criticizing, maybe you should read the book by Scott Haan. There are so manh books of Protestants coming back to Catholic Faith that I find it incredible because if Catholics are false, why Protestants are coming back?
People, look foe God with sincere heart. If you are Catholic or Protestant, look for God and not for the right religion etc. But I know where I was and I know where I am now and I know where to go now. Amen

I was raised in a born-again Christian church, and I'm eternally grateful.
The written word of GOD in the KJ Bible tells us that Satan is the father of lies.
      Satan hates Christians.
He works very hard at trying to cause grief in our lives.

As noted, so many are deceived by Satan.
Only Jesus Christ can forgive our sins.
Unfortunately, asking a priest for forgiveness ( as the Catholics religion does ) is definitely the wrong steps to be taking.

There is no unity without accountability, false teachings and doctrines need to be honestly addressed and examined in the light of Who God says He is in the Scriptures. God is not just a heap of sentimental love as we understand it. His love often seems brutal and cruel but He ALWAYS has our best interests, our sanctification in mind.

The Catholics in my area believe that what is said and tought in the respective churches that they go to are the words of truth and that it isn't necessary to read the Bible.
In fact, both of my parents, my sister and my brother in law are all Catholics and none of them own a Bible nor have actually read any part of one.

@@normacortes8708Of course, you think you do "understand" the bible, and it's impossible for you to be wrong. Is that it? Maybe it is you who doesn't understand the bible. You clearly don't understand John 6. The original Greek in Luke 1:28 used the term kecharitomene. Based on the Greek verb tense, perhaps, since you think you know how to interpret the bible, you can explain what the angel Gabriel was ACTUALLY saying in its entirety, (and not the poor English translation of "highly favored one" in your Protestant bible, since you imply you are an infallible expert). Show us your brilliance...what did Jesus mean when he gave Peter "the keys of the kingdom" in Matthew 16? How did first century Jewish apostles understand that to mean? Enlighten us with your knowledge of the bible. Was Peter the Rock? Or do you think it was some nonsensical Protestant explanation like "big rock, little pebble?" Or just "Peter's confession"...but not Peter? I think we can show YOU don't understand the bible...but you have had Protestant falsehoods drilled into you.

St. Ignatius of Antioch, a disciple of the Apostle John, wrote several letters defending the Christian faith and the unity of the Church. In his Letter to the Smyrnaeans, St. Ignatius says:
"Where Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church."
This text is important because it is one of the earliest known uses of the term "Catholic Church" (around 110 AD), indicating the universality and unity of the Church under Christ.

@@yungganon187 The authority and tradition of the Mother Harlot has cast down the Priesthood of Jesus Christ, as the High Priest of the order of Melchizedek and ONLY mediator between man and God. It has cast down the fact that every believer in Jesus Christ (globally) is a PRIEST that is to give spiritual sacrifices unto the father.
They've cast down these explicit biblical truths and have supplanted it with departed Mary & Saints as mediators, and the clergy of the Mother Harlot as priests, effectively removing Jesus as high priest and only mediator, and robbing the body of believers globally from their priestly inheritance & functions.
It's CLEAR why the Mother Harlot is so adamant about teaching the heresy of "Tradition" above scripture, and "authority of the clergy" above scripture, because it's clear that their teachings contradict biblical truth, which is the hallmark of a doctrine of demons.

As a devout Catholic, I want to emphasize that we hold a deep respect for other denominations and even other religions. We believe that God may have had a purpose in allowing the split of the church in those days, a purpose that only God can truly comprehend as part of His greater plan for His Body, with Christ as the head. Nevertheless, I remain firmly rooted in the traditions of the original Christianity, where Mary is revered as the mother figure, and where the full authority to teach about Christianity resides. It is in this tradition that we find Peter as the rock upon which the Lord Jesus entrusted His church (Matthew 16:18). The apostolic line of succession never cease to Peter, the next is Pope Linus, Pope Cletus and all the way to our present generation Pope Francis (Normal guys that we know could possibly can make mistakes and error, guess the Lord already aware of that and has prepared remedies, Hahah!)
BTW, In Greek, the term "Catholic" can be expressed as "Καθολική" (Katholikí), derived from the words "Κατά" (Kata) and "Όλος" (Holos). "Κατά" signifies "according to" or "concerning," while "Όλος" means "whole" or "universal." Therefore, "Καθολική" essentially conveys the idea of "concerning the whole" or "universal."
The teachings of Christ are indeed universal, reflecting God's boundless love, and they reach even those we might least expect, such as Bartolo Longo, a former satanic priest who found his way to Catholicism through the powerful intercession of the Blessed Mother. This serves as a testament to the far-reaching impact of Christ's message. God be glorified in Christ Jesus!

At first, it was hard for me to accept what I was reading from the Bible as it contradicted my Catholic beliefs. YOU = I have adopted the Christian teachings of the Bible
ME = Why are Catholics = true = Christians.
Why do Protestants = not = understand the reason why Jesus incarnated as a man, died on the Cross and declare= It is Finished?
Protestants thus arrive at doctrines that are heretical as they spell = Easy Christianity and cheap Grace = contrary to the 4 Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John which speak of Jesus' = Tough Love = message ===If you Love Me, keep My commandments, especially the Love of God and Neighbour, even enemies
Jesus also defined a Christian as one who = Denies oneself, carries one's cross daily and follows Jesus.
And = More = is expected of Christians as we have the greatest example of Jesus = Luke 12:48.
And Jesus' parables, often prefaced by = the kingdom of Heaven = or = the reign of God = require us to multiply our talents, become more fruitful " soil " as well s wise virgins carrying oil = or else we will be denied heavenly entry thru the narrow gates = Matthew 7:14.
The reason why Jesus incarnated was to redeem the = curse = caused by Adam and Eve's disobedience
The Bible and OT begins with the = FALL = in the Garden of Eden of the man Adam who was given the directive by God to not eat of the forbidden =TREE= Gen 2;17. Eve, on the other hand, must have learned of this directive from Adam. The result of the Fall was to render the ground cursed and Adam and Eve dismissed from the garden Eden.
The NT begins with the birth and = RISE = of Jesus, the spiritual Adam =1 Corinthians 15:21-23 = , who redeems man by His death on the TREE ( cross ) and is then buried in the Garden.
What the Bible does = not = state is that God slammed the gates of Heaven shut after the Fall because Adam and Eve had taken on the nature of the devil. For when confronted by God, Adam blamed God = the woman YOU gave me = Adam also blamed Eve. Eve likewise blamed the devil ( serpent ). Instead of asking forgiveness from God who walked with them = Gen. 3:8, they played the Blame Game as children of the devil = 1 John 3:8 = and thus God had no option but to expel them from Eden and made them and their descendants ineligible for Heaven, through = Original Sin. This Original Sin is what Jesus came to pay by His death and shed Blood, as well as reverse God's curse on the ground. Thus the Tree which was the downfall of mankind now became the symbol = the Cross = of man's redemption. And the Garden where Jesus' body was laid now became the symbol of man's eligibility to Heavenly Paradise and thus has reversed the shame of his ousting from Eden and the reversal of the cursed ground.
Third, the Fall of humankind began when Eve listened to and obeyed the = Fallen ANGEL =who is the devil. On the other hand, Mary listened and agreed with the = ANGEL = Gabriel to be the mother of Jesus who became the Redeemer. by His death on the TREE of the Cross. . Catholics thus believe that Eve brought about the Fall, whereas Mary contributed to the Rise of Mankind and have no problem in calling Mary = Co-Redeemer.
Fourth, after Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, God called out to Adam = only = and he replied = I heard you in the garden, but I was afraid because I was NAKED, so I hid myself = Gen.3:10. On the other hand, when Jesus, the spiritual Adam, was nailed to the Tree, He was rendered NAKED = John 19:23 = with no way to hide.
Fifth = 2 facts = First, Jesus was crowned with THORNS. Second =“And being in agony, Jesus prayed more earnestly. Then His SWEAT became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground” (Luke 22:44). This = sweat Blood = of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, added to Jesus' thorn-crowned head, reversed and made satisfaction for God's curse in Genesis 3:17-19 = “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. 18 It will produce THORNS and thistles for you and you will eat the plants of the field.19 By the SWEAT of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground,
Thus Catholics believe that Jesus came down from Heaven as a man to die and pay the penalty of Adam's sin which closed the gates of Heaven and imposed Original Sins on all Adam's descendants - you and me.=== It is Finished = was Jesus' triumphant cry of Mission accomplished and that Heaven gates were now opened. Moreover, Jesus' death and shed Blood paid for and covered the = Original Sins = of all those past, those now living as well as those yet unborn. Furthermore, Baptism is a - one-time - Grace event which washes away all our prior sins. However, we are responsible for all sins after Baptism - as confirmed by Jesus' " execution " of Ananias and Sapphira from the 1st Christian Faith community - Acts 5. And this was shortly = after = Jesus' heavenly ascent.
Jesus expects = More = from Christians as we have the best example of Jesus Himself = Luke 12:48.
Moreover, the Cross is the very symbol of Christianity. The long vertical beam represents our love for God and the short horizontal beam represents our love for Neighbour. For God is the God of Love and heaven is the perfect place of love. And that is why God expects and demands our practice of love whilst on earth so as to qualify for heavenly entry. Even the final judgement is based on love - Matthew 25.
Thus Catholicism promotes the sacraments, especially that of Confession and Holy Communion, as well as Mass attendance, Eucharistic Adorations, Stations of the Cross, Benedictions, Novenas, etc.
Most Protestants have a different belief from Catholics as to why Jesus incarnated and died on the Cross that they have consider themselves = inheritors = of Christ's saving act and thus their need to do no more than have Faith in Jesus to be " saved " which they mean to be granted Heavenly citizenship. Thus they deny the need for works as these are considered " boastful."
Basically, Protestants have shifted their gaze and focus from the 4 Gospels which detail Jesus' teachings which were given by the Heavenly Father for our salvation, teachings which spell =Tough Love = and have adopted " cherry-picked " passages mainly from Paul's letters such as Romans 10:9 They believe that God will forgive all sins, not only those against God but even sins against neighbour, forever = despite Jesus' warning in Matthew 6:14-15 and Matthew 18:32-35 = and have adopted the Doctrine of = Saved by Grace = Ephesians 2:8-9 - and that all sins past, present and future are covered by the Blood of Christ.
They believe that Jesus came to earth to die and take away all sins and its guilt association. His cry - It is finished - proved that human redemption from sin was completed, and that those who believe in Jesus would have their names forever written in the Lamb's Book of Life and at the time of death, they would be - absent in the flesh, present with the Lord forever - no matter how many or how grievous they committed sins. Others would be caught up and - raptured - to be with Jesus forever. Thus the promise of salvation was God's free gift - grace - to them.
Protestantism is a religious philosophy - a hearer and not doer of the Word thus deceiving themselves - James 1:22. While there is belief in Christ to be sure, there is no substance, no forms of worship and thanksgiving to our God Jesus for His - WORKS - of creation and redemption. There is no Confession as per the formula that Jesus gave on the very day ( evening ) of His Resurrection from the dead , when He - empowered - His Apostles to forgive sins - or - retain them- John 20:22-23. There is no participation in Holy Communion which Jesus declared was - Real Food and Drink - for ETERNAL LIFE - John 6:53-58. Even their churches have no kneelers to kneel and bow down before our God and Maker. And there is no difference between Protestant marriages and - easy - divorce and non-Christian ones. Protestants deny the need for Good Works despite that the Great Judgement is based on Works - Matthew 25 And Jesus gave an example by doing a - World of Works - John 21:25

To be encouraged not to read for yourselves is for the rcc to keep you in the dark, keep their control and power over and to promote their lies through their exegesis etc
2 Peter 1:20 does not mean what you want us to accept. You forgot to continue to 2Pet. 1:21 "for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God."
See the difference. It's not for some men in fish hats in some smoke filled room to interpret it for us, but anyone who is filled with the Holy Spirit. Peter reminds us that we have been given the word of God, which is a sure and reliable thing. God has the power not only to deliver His word to us but to also ensure we gain the proper understanding of it. In v.20 Peter says that the correct interpretation of scripture is never found in one's own opinion. In other words, we do not arrive at the truth of God's word through assumptions, opinions or "feelings." No different than the way one arrives at a proper understanding of mathematics or biology, we must study scripture with an expectation that the truth is objective and absolute. It does not bend to the will of men.
On the other hand, scripture also teaches us that our ability to uncover the correct interpretation of scripture is a God-given ability. Notice in v.21 Peter says that all scripture was authored as a result of the Holy Spirit moving a man to record the words of God. Therefore, since the word of God was authored by the Spirit, only the Spirit Himself can properly interpret its meaning. All believers have been given the indwelling of the Holy Spirit so He can teach us the true meaning of scripture. In a sense, the Author of scripture explains its meaning to us as we endeavor to learn it. If men absent the Holy Spirit endeavor to learn its meaning, they will inevitably come away with a false, distorted view of scripture, since they lack the Spirit to guide them and reveal the truth.
More over, believers will misinterpret scripture from time to time, but unlike unbelievers errors, these misunderstandings are merely the consequence of the normal process of moving from spiritual immaturity to the fullness of Christ:

But let´s have a closer look to what you said so that the Scripture is accomplished:👇
"For such are slaves, not of Christ our Lord, but of their own appetites, and by soft and flattering words they deceive the hearts of the naïve." - Romans 16:18
And the Truth doesn´t need to be defended with too many words but the lie does.... lie # 1, you said:
"The bible also says scripture is there to prove, rebuke, admonish and reprimand"
👆This does not invalidate the doctrine (interpretation) passed by succession from the first apostles to our day as you are suggesting.
Lie #2 "To be encouraged not to read for yourselves is for the rcc to keep you in the dark, keep their control and power over and to promote their lies through their exegesis etc"
👆This is a lie. the catholic church never encourage not to read the Bible, all the contrary...many so called catholics are so lazy to study, then they leave church and go to a protestant church and say they were catholics but they never were.
Lie#3 "You forgot to continue to 2Pet. 1:21 "for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God."
You are suggesting that anyone who says "I have a revelation of the Holy Spirit" is genuine. When the first Pope Peter talks about of men moved by the Holy Spirit he is talking about men move by the Holy Spirit taking on account the right interpretation of the Scriptures passed on by centuries which is the interpretation of Jesuchrist, that´s why we have an only doctrine and not different doctrines given by the ones who said "I have a revelation":
"But the Spirit clearly says that in the end times some will apostatize from the faith, heeding deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons." - 1 Timothy 4:1
Lie#4 "See the difference. It's not for some men in fish hats in some smoke filled room to interpret it for us, but anyone who is filled with the Holy Spirit."
👆Who, pastors?? with their hundreds of different doctrines??
Lie#5 "God has the power not only to deliver His word to us but to also ensure we gain the proper understanding of it."
👆If so, why they contradict each other with many interpretations when the Holy Spirit is One and Only??
Lie#6 "In v.20 Peter says that the correct interpretation of scripture is never found in one's own opinion. In other words, we do not arrive at the truth of God's word through assumptions, opinions or "feelings."
👆to be fair this statement is not that much a lie, since you´re proving right - the correct interpretation of scripture is never found in one's own opinion. - it comes by revelations of the Holy Spirit STICKING TO THE TRUE DOCTRINE, that´s how we know is true or false, that´s why the Bible contradicts so many false doctrines coming from the "I had a revelatiooon" people.
you say: "No different than the way one arrives at a proper understanding of mathematics or biology, we must study scripture with an expectation that the truth is objective and absolute. It does not bend to the will of men."
👆you´re proving I´m correct...just like the law of sciences, we can expect 2+2 is 4 since the mathematical law is not altered from the beginning of time instead passed on by succession. There is no revelation that 2+2 is 5 it "does not bend to the will of men".
you say: "scripture also teaches us that our ability to uncover the correct interpretation of scripture is a God-given ability."
Yes, but if it contradicts the Bible and doctrine is a false interpretation.
One thing that amaze me is that the Bible was built by the Catholic Church completed in the year 382 by Pope Damaso I who said: "this is the word of God", and why the protestants have the Bible buildt by the Catholic church under their arms and saying this is the word of God??
Some may argue that the protestant Bible is not the same because it was edited, but it´s written:
"if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the book of life, and from the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book." - Apocalypse 22:18-19
The United Biblical Society in brittain took away 7 books from the Bible in the year 1862 (if I recall correctly) arguing: "Economical reasons"...they don´t even have the book of Salomon, the book of Wisdom. They don´t have wisdom.

Much of what you said that Catholics believe was mostly true but not entirely true thus, you have missed the mark. Some of what you said is what non- Catholics THINK Catholics believe but is not what Catholics actually believe ( according to the catechism). For an excellent source on what Catholics actually believe, I would recommend; Devine Mercy, explaining the Faith, with Fr. Chris Alar

I was raised as a catholic. I was a catholic for 20 years. My family members are still Catholics. Being a catholic does not mean you are a Christian. I had never heard about true salvation. I always wanted to know the truth. I regularly attended mass, there was a point where I used to participate in mass every single day, and did everything that they told to do (praying the rosary every day, going for confessions, etc.). I felt like it was never enough. And then, came a day in my life when everything changed. In 2019, I was going through a really hard time, I could not handle what I was going through. There was no one around me, I could reach out for help. That day these very words came from my mouth " Lord I surrender my life to you". And that day I felt extreme peace and forgiveness of God, never felt this before. From that day on, there was such a hunger placed in me, to dig deeper into the Word, and to hear the voice of God. Gradually, God directed me by His word and Spirit to get out of catholicism and idolatry.

Thank you for preaching these differences based in what the Bible says. I hope it helps to open eyes to many catholics.
I went to catholic school from Kindergarten all the way until graduating High School in Venezuela. I never felt God’s presence during any mass, I couldn’t understand why they took the Mary statue once a year around the block, singing to it, throwing flowers to it. They taught Mary’s life and very little about Jesus. They treat Jesus as a baby that it is still on Mary’s arms and forget that Jesus was a man when started his ministry at 30 years old and he was 33 years old when He died for us and was risen. They don’t talk about Jesus return. I noticed many catholics live a religious life to appear as good people during mass but they were not changed inside; many of them are not convicted of their sinful life.
As an adult (when I was 34 years old) I was going through a very tough time and NOBODY could help me, I couldn’t help myself so I decided to start reading the bible for the first time and talk to God daily. After a couple of months this is when I started to know who God really was, I started loving him, I changed my evil ways, God manifested, I felt his Holy Spirit for the first time and was filled, I converted to christianity which means I started to have a personal relationship with Him. He delivered me from the holds of Satan over my life.
The differences between Catholicism and Christianity became clear to me after reading the whole Bible.
I wish and pray more and more people will come to this realization !!!
Thanks again for making this video.

How have Protestants missed the Gospel message.
The 4 books of the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are titled = The Gospel = according to Matthew / Mark / Luke / John. This was the same Gospel message revealed to Paul by Jesus - Galatians 1:12 - which reflected the Teachings and Doings of Jesus and which Paul = proclaimed verbally = on his missionary journeys. Later on, after Paul had received reports from faithful and trustworthy members, he sent out letters to the churches he had established to commend them or to correct them and even provide more insight and clarification. The Bible titles these letters as - Epistles - to the various churches of Corinth, Philippi, etc. Thus, these Epistles were Paul's means of keeping in touch with, as well as providing a Review/Report of the status of the churches he wrote to and to whom he had previously preached - verbally - the Gospel.
Sadly, Protestants have based their - Doctrines - and belief systems on these commentaries and Epistles - instead - of the 4 Gospels which will be the basis of all judgement by Jesus, God and Judge - John 5:22.
Yet Paul also gave some personal opinions in his Epistles. For example, in Romans 9:3, Paul declares = For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my countrymen, my kinsmen according to the flesh.= This is Paul's personal wish and definitely - not - God-inspired because Jesus had declared = “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me” (John 12:32 KJV).
Another of Paul's personal opinion is = Romans 10: 9 =That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - because Jesus had previously declared in Matthew 7:21 'Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord”, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only one who = does = the will of my Father in heaven.
Moreover, Jesus declared: “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Matt. 24:13.)
The - MOST - important part of the Bible is the 4 Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John because they proclaim Jesus' words and actions by which He will judge us - John 5:22. For Jesus is the - Word of God - who was sent by The Father from Heaven to teach us the Way, Truth and Life to Heaven. Common sense would therefore dictate that we place our doctrines and belief systems first and foremost on these Gospels, and keep everything else secondary.
The 4 Gospels speak of Tough Love - If you love Me, keep My commandments - and - If you wish to be My disciple, take up your Cross daily, deny yourself and follow Me - and - More - is expected of Christians to whom much has been entrusted - Luke 12:48. , And, Jesus' Parables are often prefaced with - the kingdom of Heaven - or - the Reign of God - and require us to multiply our talents, become more fruitful " soil " as well as become wise virgins carrying oil
I have watched weekly on average 3 to 5 Protestant shows on TV for more than 20 years - and still do ! I find their Biblical knowledge and research on general Biblical principles very enlightening. However, I find that Protestants base their theology - their basic belief systems and doctrines, instead of the Gospels, on Paul's letters especially =For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God; 9it is not from works, so no one may boast = Ephesians 2:8-9 = and have arrived at religious philosophy that is distant from practical Christianity
Moreover, we know that there are Lost Pauline epistles. Yet do these missing letters suggest that the Gospel message is lacking ? Obviously not, because we have the fullness of the Gospel message already. And why would Peter warn about some of Paul's writings =There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures = 2 Peter 3:16
Ultimately, what is a Christian but a follower of Christ ? In His public ministry, Jesus read Scripture only once - Luke 4:17-19. Yet Jesus did a world of - Works. - John 21:25. And prayed daily. And fasted 40 days/nights.
The Bible teaches about Jesus, His mission and His expectations and makes us equipped for all Good Works. The Church makes us put those works into practice - for our sanctification and God's glory.
The symbol of Christianity is the CROSS. For Jesus declared - If you wish to be My disciple, take up your cross daily, deny yourself and follow Me. The Cross was evident in the cases of God's testing of Abraham and more with Job who lost his health, possessions and family in an instant. The present COVID pandemic, which though man-made, is God's testing whereby every person in the world has been affected. Suffering is part and parcel of the Christian life as Jesus confirmed in Luke 24:26 = Was it not necessary that the Messiah should suffer* these things and enter into his glory?
Moreover, we read in Hebrews 12:6 = For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises - every - child whom he receives.”
Jesus warned that, on His Second Coming, He will issue severe stripes to Christians who are not prepared because they have been entrusted to - more - Luke 12:48. On the other hand, He will also bring more rewards to faithful Christians - . Revelation 22:12
It is - high - time that my Protestant friends take the focus away from the - Easy Christianity and cheap grace - gleaned from the religious philosophy especially of Paul's letters and on to the 4 Gospels and Jesus' Tough Love requirements including His Parables

And of course Catholics reject ‘once saved, always saved’ partially because it’s not accurate since the reborn can lose their salvation by rejecting Jesus and turning from the faith or by blaspheming the Holy Spirit which is the one unforgivable sin.
But more to the point Catholics reject it because the entirety of their teachings is focused on keeping their laity in a perpetual state of fear of damnation and denying them the peace with God that Paul recognized Christians possessing in Romans 5:1.
Mass would never be needed ever again if they accepted ‘once saved, always saved (unless you leave the faith). Confession would never be required again (confessing to a priest, rather than just praying directly to God to confess and ask forgiveness). Neither would their concept of purgatory remain, which would also cost the Catholic Church tens of millions, or more, each year in the form of ‘indulgences’ which is nothing more than a bribe to get the deceased out of an imaginary lesser Hell and into Heaven!
One good thing that would come from Catholics accepting it would be an end to the Catholic practice of necromancy-praying to Mary and a vast number of ‘saints’ that all died hundreds to thousands of years ago!

The Catholic Church is considered the true church because it traces its origins directly to Jesus Christ, who appointed Peter as the first Pope, establishing a direct apostolic succession. This continuity is supported by Matthew 16:18-19, where Jesus tells Peter, "You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven." This establishes the Church's authority and unbroken lineage from Christ to the present.

Even if the self-serving Catholic view of these passages were correct, there are still some serious problems.
      1) There is no evidence that the church is a universal body, as the word ecclesia means an assembly or religious congregation. In fact, in most contexts, it makes no sense for this to be some universal body. For example, Jesus said to ". . . tell it to the church . . ." (context: matters of controversy between brethren). How can you tell about a problem you are having to a worldwide body
      2) There is no Biblical evidence that, even if Peter had some preferred position analogous to that of the Pope, it would have been only for a local assembly and would have been a position like an elder or pastor of a church (I Peter 5:1).
      3) There is no evidence in the New Testament, including 1 & 2 Peter that Peter ever claimed such an office (being head of a universal body).
      4) You are assuming that the Catholic interpretation is the only one possible. It is not.
      5) Even the earliest known extra Biblical writing, the Didache has nothing about a Pope or Peter.

You understand there are disputes about this. Peter was martyred in Rome, how could he appoint his successor? And he wasn't the only one. You need to research this assertion. And surely it doesn't matter whether there was lineage. Popes can't save you, only your faith, and following The Lord, living as best you can to His Word, can save you.

I was brought up Catholic and no longer pray to the Saints or Mary, nor do I believe that Mary stayed a virgin as the Scriptures say Joseph did not have relations with her until Jesus was born. I don't believe she was born without sin as that is nowhere in the Scriptures. One thing I do know is that Jesus is truly present in the Holy Eucharist. I walked into a Catholic Church one day and they were having Eucharistic Adoration. As soon as I walked in, I actually saw Jesus standing there in physical form in the Spirit. My knees automatically went down..instinctively my body knew He is Lord and my place is on my knees. He turned to me and waived for me to come and sit in the front where He was standing. I will never forget it. Also, when I receive Holy Communion, I feel the Presence of Jesus in me. I physically feel a difference. I feel peace in my belly area. So Jesus is truly present and it is Biblical. I don't like when other Pastors call the Catholic Churcg demonic. It is not demonic if it celebrates the Eucharist. Jesus is at the center of the Mass. I heard the Pastor who was not Catholic say he walked into a Catholic Church and felt the Presence of God and he asked God "What are you doing here" and God answered something along the lines of I am wherever I am worshipped. God is worshipped in the Catholic Church.

Brother, believe in the scriptures on what is written. She is truly Virgin and free of original sin because if she is not holy then her womb is not worthy to carry our God Jesus. She is preserved from sin- God preserved Mary in order to bore Jesus. Joseph will never touch Mary because he is faithful to God, yes he loves Mary, but he respect Gods command. That's why Joseph is chosen to be Mary's husband because he will never touch Mary. And God chose Mary because she is faithful, obedient, and there is no other woman like her in the world. Brother, believe this because if it is a lie why did God allowed it to be written in the Bible and not removed until now? Simply because it is the truth. Sometimes we cannot fathom truth that's why we need faith because eveything God does, we cannot fully fathom. So have faith! God bless you dear brother

However that does not make her any less Holy, I personally am unsure of this myself but I understand where it is coming from. If she did have sexual relations it was within the confines of marriage hence she retained her purity

So if you're happy you're going to a church that wasn't started by Christ but man that's fine. But the Roman Catholic Church was the original Christian church.

St. Ignatius of Antioch was a disciple of St. John the Apostle and was installed as the 3rd Catholic Bishop of Antioch by St. Peter the Apostle (most likely) after the 2nd Bishop Evodius died. Evodius was the person who coined the term “Christian.” Traditon says Ignatius was one of the children Jesus Blessed in scripture.

The what what what what what? Not a soul needs to be interested in your 26 points. It's if you believe in Jesus and he's your lord, then you will do what he says, not what a particular denomination, separate text, or man/women that is not aligned with Christ says.
You want to know everyone, why you sound insane or someone else does when they talk about an assortment of things yet they call themselves Christians? Simply they are not hooked up to the head who is Christ, they head of every man is Christ, and the body is his bride. Nonsense can't stay for long in the mind and heart of the one who is truly following Jesus, but nonsense is the bread and butter of those who have left christ for a Pope, Pastor, or other person in the place of Jesus as lord.

@@stephenbrown7307 The 26 points are vital to distinguish between the Truth of the Gospel which is practiced by Catholics versus the falsehood of Protestantism. These 26 points align with the the reason why ==Jesus incarnated as a man, died on the Cross and declared = It is Finished ?
On the other hand, when Jesus, the spiritual Adam, was nailed to the Tree, He was rendered naked in the sight of all passers-by = John 19:23 = with no way to hide.
Fifth = 2 facts = First, Jesus was crowned with thorns.
Secondly =“And being in agony, Jesus prayed more earnestly.
18 It will produce = thorns and thistles for you and you will eat the plants of the field.19 By the = sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground,
Thus Catholics believe that Jesus came down from Heaven as a man to die and pay the penalty of Adam's sin which closed the gates of Heaven and imposed Original Sins on all Adam's descendants - you and me.=== It is Finished = was Jesus' triumphant cry of Mission accomplished and that Heaven gates were now opened.
Moreover, the 4 Gospels speak of Jesus' = Tough Love = message ===If you Love Me, keep My commandments, especially the Love of God and Neighbour. Jesus also defined a Christian as one who = Denies oneself, carries one's cross daily and follows Jesus.
On the other hand, Protestants have a different belief from Catholics as to why Jesus incarnated and died on the Cross that they have consider themselves = inheritors = of Christ's saving act and thus their need to do no more than have Faith in Jesus to be " saved " which they mean to be granted Heavenly citizenship. Thus they deny the need for works as these are considered " boastful." Basically, Protestants have shifted their gaze and focus from the 4 Gospels which detail Jesus' teachings which were given by the Heavenly Father for our salvation, teachings which spell =Tough Love = and have adopted " cherry-picked " passages mainly from Paul's letters such as Romans 10:9 They believe that God will forgive all sins, not only those against God but even sins against neighbour, forever = despite Jesus' warning in Matthew 6:14-15 and Matthew 18:32-35 = and have adopted the Doctrine of = Saved by Grace = Ephesians 2:8-9 - and that all sins past, present and future are covered by the Blood of Christ.
Protestants believe that Jesus came to earth to die and take away all sins and its guilt association.

Jesus was the = Word = and spokesperson of The Father who sent Him to both be as well as teach us the Truth, Way and Life to the Father.
Jesus' message was Tough Love =If you love Me, keep My Commandments. Especially, the love of God and Neighbour. With Love being a verb or action word.
If you wish to be My disciple = thus defining who's Christian = take up your Cross daily, deny yourself and follow Me
The gate to Heaven is narrow and = few = find it = Matthew 7:14 & Luke 13:23-24
Jesus warned = Matthew 24:13-14 = He who endures to the = end = will be saved.
And declared that = More = is expected of Christians to whom much has been entrusted = Luke 12:48.
Jesus updated the = letter = of Moses' 10 Commandments to include the = spirit = by requiring not only the forbidding of murder, but also getting angry, not only adultery, but also looking with lust.
Jesus fasted 40 days/nights. He prayed daily. He also did a = world = of unrecorded works = John 21:25.
Jesus spoke of The Father's reward for Prayer, Fasting, Almsgiving and Good Works done in secret = Matthew 6.
And Jesus' various Parables prefaced with = the Kingdom of Heaven = or = the Reign of God = require us to multiply our talents, become more fruitful " soil " and wise virgins carrying oil, or we will be excluded from Heaven
Even Paul, like a good Christian, boasted of the Cross = Galatians 6:14
Paul urged = WORK out your own salvation with fear and trembling. = Philippians 2:12
Paul warned that those Christians who do works of the flesh would not inherit Heaven = Galatian 5:19-21
Hebrews 12:6 warned that The Father chastens and disciplines = every = child before He will accept them into His Kingdom.
When Martin Loser, I mean Martin Luther broke away from Catholicism and started Protestantism, he promoted "Sola Scriptura" - or the authority of the Bible alone as well as the doctrine of " Faith alone." He also took the focus of Protestantism = away = from the 4 Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and onto " cherry-picked " verses such as Romans 10:8-10 and Ephesians 2:8-10. Luther thus ignored Jesus' and other NT Tough Love passages, some of them given above, and brought about doctrines that spell = Easy Christianity and cheap grace.
Sadly, Protestants and non-Catholics have embraced Luther's errors despite the fact that they proclaim " Sola Scriptura " and read the Bible often, even daily. By declaring that only Faith is necessary for Salvation, they have effectively cancelled the Cross = the very symbol of Christianity.
Catholics believe that Jesus came down from Heaven and died on the Cross to atone and redeem mankind from the " curse " caused by Adam and Eve's disobedience bringing about " Original Sin " on their descendants = you and me = and which disqualified us from Heavenly entry. " It is Finished " was Jesus cry of mission accomplished and that Heaven's gates were now opened and that Original Sins of all humans past, present and those unborn have been atoned for. And that Baptism is a = one-time = Grace event that washes away all our prior sins. However, we are responsible for all sins after, as exemplified by God's " execution " of Ananias and Sapphira from the first Christian = Faith = community for just dishonesty and lying. And this a short time = after = Jesus' Heavenly ascent = Acts 5.

Call me crazy, but if Catholicism was truly Christian, there would at least by tangible proof that the 1 book that documents the first 50 or so years of the true Church's existence would at least show the apostles observing Mass, Lent, Easter, or Christmas. I grew up catholic, went to catholic middle and high school. The truth is not in religion, catechism and man made Doctrine. It’s not in a whitehat, saints, priests, Mary. It’s not in points and procedures. I saw a Catholic influencer say that you received certain blessing if you attend mass 30 days in a row(but you can’t miss one) or have to start over. It’s almost superstition. In other ways, It is a like what became of the Sanhedrin. Truth is in Jesus Christ. Jesus says we are kingdom of priests. Most Catholics don’t even realize what is in the catechism of the Roman Catholic Church..they just go because of what they know, comfortable with, brought up with. Remember Constantine had a lot to do with Roman Catholic church after he couldn’t beat them/kill them. When you can’t beat them…control them.

”Wherever the bishop shall appear, there, let the multitude of the people also be; even as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. “( Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Chapter 8)-St.Ignatius of Antioch, 107 AD

I’m a recent subscriber and very quickly your teaching resonated with me. I’m first generation American; my parents were western Ukraine refugees in Germany during the latter half of WWII, emigrating to the USA shortly after the war. I was raised Eastern Orthodox Catholic, my father was the deacon of the church I was raised in. I praise God for instilling in my heart at age 9 or 10 questions about Catholicism that matured in time to deciding to follow only Christ. If I label myself other than Christian, it’d be evangelical undenominational Bible-based Protestant. I’m the black sheep for marrying out of the “church”, and am sure my dad passed away still believing my wife and I aren’t truly married. You’ve done such a great job in spelling out the differences but especially, at the end, identifying Catholicism as a culture to many; I too have met many whose focus is on Jesus but out of ingrained tradition or to keep family ‘peace’ continue with the traditions. We pray that at some time they may drop that. Shortly after becoming a born-again believer I started to read the Bible and Romans 14 resonated strongly with me for dealing with our differences between fellow Protestant and Catholic believers in Jesus. When I was 9-10 and questioning Catholicism, nightly news always included how many soldiers were killed in Vietnam and how many Catholics and Protestants were killed in Belfast and Dublin. Over time it had a profound impact on becoming non-denominational, strictly Scripture and allowance of differences in the lesser, arguable practices of our faith. As Christians, we should focus more on the core, common and inalienable doctrines we have in common - Triune God, Jesus is our Lord and Savior, Holy Spirit sent to help us and Scripture alone - than on the varied interpretations of lesser issues. May God continue to bless you with the clarity of your teaching; I look forward to listening to more.

Scripture refutes Bible alone claims, and Paul tells us that the church will uphold the truth (Read Acts of the Apostles); therefore, they are intertwined just like salvation is intertwined with cooperation from the believer that Jesus has given us individually teachings that can lead us to a path of salvation or we can willingly choose to walk a different, wider path by rejecting love of God and/or love of neighbor. This is the whole of the law. The good news is we are finally given light, clarity, and hope about God's commandments through Jesus and how we can obey Him to be given salvation through our trust in Jesus while practicing His will. We may fall, but God charges us all to remain faithful, repent, forgive, and discern truth.

Thank you for reaffirming my Catholic faith. Vlad here was in such a hurry to disparage the Catholic faith that he gets just about everything wrong about it. It's clear that he did no research and is just spouting off talking points someone told him. Even a cursory search for information would have had him sounding at least a little informed.
I was raised Baptist and always, always wanted to draw closer to God. I wasn't being spiritually fed and as a matter of fact, was spiritually drowning. One day, while in church, I had the thought that if I stayed, I would be led straight to Hell. I left the church that day and kinda drifted for many years, even dabbling in Buddhism at one point.
... Then one day, after beginning to listen to Christian radio, I was sitting quietly in my room, just mulling over something I'd heard. I heard the Lord telling me to join the Church. I sought out the Catholic Church and upon attending my first Mass, I had an indwelling of the Holy Spirit. One word came to me: home.
I've since joined the Catholic Church and every single video that disparages the Church- every person that questions my faith, only makes it grow. I'll pray for Vlad and all of those he's leading astray. Jesus said something about little ones, astray, millstone, a neck and the sea. I dunno. I'm glad I'm not him.

I have nothing to prove to you. In the true Bible, the one NOT hacked by Luther, you'll find prayer, infant baptism, Pope (actually, that one's in the hacked Bible, along with mortal and venial sins). Catholics don't hold to sola scriptura, which is unbiblical, incidentally. I DO read my Bible and listen to it, too, via BIY. You might try it sometime. Learning the truth is one reason I'm Catholic. Pastor, you are little bit confused. For us Catholics the head of the church is not the pope but our Lord Lord Jesus Christ. As of the Virgin Mary that you Protestants despise read the gospel “Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed are you among women and bless it the fruit of the womb Jesus “. Your ignorance of the Catholic Church is scary. God bless you.

We don't despise Mary. Not a true Protestant walking with the Lord. She should be spoken of with honor and respect, but not revered and worshipped. Catholic doctrine is clearly inspired by mans desire for power and control. The problem is most Catholics don't even know what they actually believe.

That is a broad statement, how is it that you think you know how someone encounters God, or what their relationship with God is. I am Catholic and I love God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You really need to read and understand that Bible you all claim to understand and look at the early church which is by the way Catholic.

Within a few weeks,.I was led to a great woman of God. My MENTOR, who taught me the WORD OF GOD. Must mention i had my fair share of persecutions 😂. Nothing detered me. I was so excited, took WATER BAPTISM 2 years later. Was and still am blessed to be a blessing....shared the Gospel with many, many people. Prayed for sick in hospitals.
