Oh my its actually common sense. If a person worshipped satan , that person had agreements etc and has been demon possesed( the term we use). The person underwent rituels etc etc to get powers, fame money etc but also demons that enabled them to do stuff they themselves cant . Now when a person accepts Jesus as Lord and Saviour, that person isnt automatically free from demons. You must still cast them out! And it defnetly wont help casting demon out of someone who isnt saved. Cause the demon wont go out. Why? Because the demon still has legal rights because of sin.
Example i can go to a witch and command the demons to leave the witch. Guess whats gona happen? Im gona get in trouble. They will probably manifest and laugh and curse me and then i might get a beating. But if the witch repented of sins and asked Jesus into his / her life , then we can go ahead to cast out demons. Thus a unsaved person cant really be delivered. They 1st need to get saved through Jesus.

Thank you for this teaching. I understand each point you make about deliverance, and I agree. If there is one thing that might be added, it is this. Deliverance ministers who are prideful and who have lost the ability to be humble and loving really concern me. I don't really care how many books they have written or how much they know about demons. Jesus ministered to the hurting and the oppressed in love and in power. We are to follow His example, right? His example did not include boasting or any unloving action against the afflicted.

I used to go to a church (9years) the “slaying in spirit had no effect. I ASKED the LORD privately at home - severe pain situation acute, & leg it go. Soon after the LORD spoke to me after a service at another church on another continent… asked me to go speak to the people- I asked permission, granted. Afterwards I asked if anyone wanted prayer- when no response, I said will you pray for me? Pastors daughter in law came NEAR - did NOT touch me & I went l Flying backwards- she continued to pray for me- & I was completely healed from that time onwards (26 years later!!!) now THAT is GOD’s handiwork! Thanks for the info. Learned a lot. I am working on closing an inner portal that I opened many years ago. Also praying for the people who harmed me. The enemy wants me to be vengeful and in denial. I do feel like a soldier and yea, this is the enemies domain. It seems like lukewarm people are sent here to experience what it is like to be exposed to these powers and principalities. I think another mistake is that we believe it's a once of thing. I've heard of people with years of spiritual abuse taking them 10 months - 3 years for complete deliverance. It's a process. Like Vlad said follow up is important.

Thank you for speaking to areas concerning deliverance "that never bore witness in my heart". I'm not negating that there are amazing deliverance ministers, but I also know Jesus did not expect those He sent out to have to go to a school, buy particular books and videos to do an effective job of casting out demons. I'm not saying those exorcist people aren't effective, I've learned a lot from some. Powerful insights of the deliverance ministry. Jesus, in the mode of a son of man, always waited through the Spirit, and constantly said that the words that He spoke and the works He performed were those of the Father through the Spirit, and were not those of His own. While with us as a son of man, according to Philippians chapter 2, He set aside the independent use of an attribute He possessed as the Son of God, and as a servant, in the mode as a son of man, a vessel of the Father, it was the Father who did the work. We as sons of men, should heed this warning, and what is done is through us as a vessel only, Christ IN US, doing the speaking and doing, it is not us. All power was given to the Son of Man Jesus. It is through this NAME JESUS and what it represented, that demons must obey. They saw this in Paul, and not in those Jewish exorcist.

Powerful insights of the deliverance ministry. Jesus, in the mode of a son of man, always waited through the Spirit, and constantly said that the words that He spoke and the works He performed were those of the Father through the Spirit, and were not those of His own. While with us as a son of man, according to Philippians chapter 2, He set aside the independent use of an attribute He possessed as the Son of God, and as a servant, in the mode as a son of man, a vessel of the Father, it was the Father who did the work. We as sons of men, should heed this warning, and what is done is through us as a vessel only, Christ IN US, doing the speaking and doing, it is not us. All power was given to the Son of Man Jesus. It is through this NAME JESUS and what it represented, that demons must obey. They saw this in Paul, and not in those Jewish exorcist.
