    Great video!
    Would love to see a comparison in battery life between the other pockets (true vs claimed numbers as well) and how long the battery grip lasts.

    Blackmagic says the camers can record 'two separate audio tracks' but as I understand it, the menu is the same as the other pocket cameras, with just two channels to route the mics to...? That means just one stereo track, no?

    • @GimbleProductions
      @GimbleProductions  3 года назад +3

      Álex Montoya technically yes, though you can separate the stereo track in Davinci Resolve to have two completely separate audio tracks. Works good if you have one XLR for one LAV, and another XLR for another Lav, you can edit each audio source separately as two tracks

      It's a canon ef mount. So any lens with that mount. Tons of wide angle lenses for EF mount. Just keep in mind It's a super 35 sensor so it will never be as wide as a full frame sensor.

      @@GimbleProductions Thanks, I'll check it out. Well if that's the case it's pretty stupid and hopefully something that can be changed in a firmware update or at the very least it should be user selectable. The internal battery should only be used when the others are depleted. This way there is ALWAYS a full battery in the camera until you have no more charged batteries left.

    cn i have that da Vinci resolve?

  • @fatar9075
    @fatar9075 3 года назад

    I have a battery grip charging question. I just recently began using my new 6K Pro Camera. I initially charged the NP-F570 battery that came with the camera. The record light came on red and stayed red until a full charge. Then went off.
    Today I attached the battery grip with two new NP-F570 batteries and charged. It started out a steady red and then turned to an alternating red and white. I read about this happening on another BM thread but it did not seem to resolve the issue or suggest what to do.
    I then turned on the camera and all three battery icons show white and appear to be charged. Is this just a fluke of this configuration when charging, or is this a problem I should follow up on? What has been your experience?
    Thanks!

    • @GimbleProductions
      @GimbleProductions  3 года назад

      Could be the brand of batteries you are using - I tend to charge my batteries outside the cam itself using a battery plate though. As long as it’s functioning okay, you should be set! I would say between 1.5hrs - 2.5hrs should be a full charge duration for reference

      @@fatar9075 the Blackmagic branded ones are the best ones I would say, I too gave battery indicator issues at times, but I still get great power usage from the grip.
