I know it has been a while but i finally got the doors started...and finished. The system consists of:
Factory Headunit (Sony)
Pac AmpPro AP4-FD21 Interface (Using optical output)
Audiocontrol DM810 DSP (way more than i need now but expandable for later!)
B2 Audio Reference 4 Channel (Class A or AB (Switchable)) on the Mids/Highs
B2 Audio Rage 2500.1 on the Subwoofers
B2 Audio Reference 6.3 Three-Way Components (Custom Starboard HDPE Adapter Plates)
(6) B2 Audio 6.5" Subwoofers in a Gately Audio ported, under seat enclosure.
SMD Quick Release Neo Magnet Terminal (to take box out at night or when space is needed)
SMD Fuses, Fuse Blocks and Power Distritubion
Skyhigh Power Cable
SMD RCA (From DM810 to amps)
NavTV FD 360 Camera Control
Second Skin "Damp Pro" sound Deadener
Wiring harness used Pac APH-FD01 (to get into the doors).
I pulled my boot and door plug out to try to find a way in through the molex plug like i normally would...but there isn't room for ANYTHING. I think because my truck is fully loaded all the contact points are being used. When i go fully active SOON, i will drill the necessary holes and run new wires. For now, this works GREAT!
I know this was a long video, but if you watched it all, thank you! I will make a video soon doing some basic tuning to get this thing souding even better! I also have a BRAND NEW improved Gately Audio under-seat box i am going to swap in. The one i have now is a prototype, one of the originals and he has since improved them. I have it at the shop ready to go! And then, i am going to put 4 8" subs in another under-seat box after that! I have plans in the future to expand the system that is why i used the Audiocontrol DM810 DSP. It has way more channels than i need right now but i would rather have too many than not enough! And YES, i will probably eventually switch to fully active. Right now, i just wanted it all working and sounding good..and it doesn't just sound good, it sounds GREAT. And it's still flat! I can't wait to throw some pink noise in it and an RTA! Stay tuned! And make sure you hit the notification button, i have lots of fun stuff for 2020 planned!

these adapter plates will be available to the public soon! they fit 2017-2019 ford f250 Superduty trucks. I plan on offering them in 2-way components as well as single and double 6.5’s. 5 1/4” too! Ok thanks! I would love to do everything your doing to that truck to my 2017 Platinum. I have a nice 2 10 box under the back seat with sundown subs and a crescendo amp but want more. Do the 6 smaller subs compare to double 10s ?

When it comes to online audio “experts” , there’s an abundance of them and the horse shit they try to pass off as legitimate technical information gathered from their impressive experience and vastly superior custom installations, can be easily recognized by its putrid smell.
Fortunately there are certified and trustworthy companies like SMD to provide accurate test results along with reliable installation information for many great components

Just bought the combo pack for smd dd1 and cc1. So excited. I was about to buy a o scope. Saw the comparison and absolutely mind blowing. I hot a Orion XTR.2500.1DZ (2948rms @1ohm 12.6) and massive audio 12 3000rms. So pumped to have it set professionally!!

I dig the red white and blue spk wire coding, I always put the scrap damping material behind the driver on the outer door skin. Scrap is scrap....Cheers

Sweet 3 way plate! Be interesting to see if the 810 necessary or if someone could just use an LC using the passive crossovers. Can't wait for the tuning video! Been trying to learn all I can about these DSP units before I drop the coin, but I think I can get away without one using the head unit's crossovers and time alignment.

Nice..! I always find myself turning to short dog, or 40 when tweaking levels. I've yet to pick up any of your SMD essentials, but it's on the agenda. I'm assuming that I won't be turning knobs constantly once I do get set up. Thanks for the vids, nice truck\build.

Sundown, DC Audio, Ampere, B2 Audio...All of them use the same OE (Erisson) for these speakers. I'd love to see how many speakers Erisson ships versus a manufacturer like Kicker or JBL.

Very nice work! I am curious to your get thought of placing all 3 components in the door vs. doing some in the pillar. At first glance, it seems like the factory grill in the door may be a little small to get max output from all 3 drivers. I appreciate your feedback.
