Jaybird is a good friend. Back in the day he loaned me $140 bucks to buy "Bass Box Pro" so i could elevate my speaker box game. He said "someday, you will hook my system up in return". So here is his $140 install about 20 years later. If this isn't the ultimate payback, i don't know what is. Thanks for watching the series! FYI: for those that don't know, or didn't watch the entire series..this amp rack has 4 fans and they are controlled with an SMD TM-1 (far right LED display on front of rack). At the desired (chosen) temperature, the fans gradually roll in. The hotter it gets, the faster they move. Self cooling! It's crazy how I've been watching Smd since I was 16 or 17 now im 27 years old. Timeflies too quick. I remember when I was in high school I wanted a car I didn't care what car it was as long it had a system in it. Smd and exo and casperskafs. Are by far the best car audio RUclipsrs back in the day.

Yo I've been into car audio for like 25 years, and I just learned something big time this video, Meade is a genius,
I used to always buy expensive 6x9s with 3-way tweeters and put them in the back and they would get drowned out by the bass box.
In this video he said have all your components in the front, so the highs are firing directly at you!
Let the base flow through the back of the cab.

besides being drowned out....when was the last time you went to a concert and the band was playing behind you while you stare at the wall? That is why i never use rear speakers if i can avoid it. Up front ONLY. Id put the subs up there too if there was room although bass is mostly non-directional. Thanks my bro i appreciate the comment :)
Something else i hadn't considered until now: The 6x9s are not in a box. They are mounted direct on the deck infinite baffle style. No cone control. So the sub box will be pushing them to xmax and beyond anyway.

Just rewatching this build series and i am once again impressed with how this turned out. As an installer that's been doing this for 25+ years, the magnetic terminals are still one of the coolest things I have seen. It's cool how they make the box portable and holds the box in place. For a smaller set-up, it really turned out awesome. Great job Steve and congrats Jaybird.

Watching this build has enticed me to get a system. In the past I was heavily into systems. I was MECP Certified and worked at a few places installing stereos. It use to be my pride and joy. I ended up having a child and then got into making cars go fast. I really miss the sound of a nicely tuned system.

Love this build, good mids and highs, great bass, overall just an amazing system for a daily driver. That sweet amp/meter setup and the wireless box just make it even better. Love the audio set up. I know its a commuter car but a nice clean lip, budget coilovers and some clean wheels would help match the audio. OEM plus look, so many options for the Honda. Kinda want this to be a build lol.
DublR81 low key I really would like to see it a build as well but that would attract attention from thieves and since he daily’s it thieves would easily steal that accord and strip all that out the sound system is enough to enjoy the ride from home to work and work to home.
Straight up bro 1990- 93 accords are definite solid cars ... The rear quarter panel’s may rust out but the rest of the car is absolutely deadly.Thank God I caught my rear quarter panel’s and got my car nice and minty fresh. but straight up I sold that thing with over 600,000 km.
