One of these days, you are going to sit down and write a full compilation of cuisine found across the length and breath of China. It would be a best-seller.
10 RMB for the Kiwano fruit is quite affordable! I do occasionally see these fruits around in the supermarket here in Singapore, but they are a lot more expensive and actually, usually they are from New Zealand. So you might be able to find them in Australia too.
I can't wait to visit my family in China after 4 years. Keep up the excellent job, Amy! I have gotten quite a lot of food inspiration from your videos.
Hi Amy, we just found your channel about 2 weeks ago and we just love it! We live in America but my wife is from Shanghai. We are hoping to go visit family there in a couple of months. We usually watch about 3 of your videos every night. Can't wait to see the next new video and to continue watching the previous videos. We have subscribed and like every video!
Big mistake watching this right before dinner time because I was absolutely famished watching this! And is it just me or is Amy’s videos getting more and more entertaining… literally LOLed while riding the metro! 😂😂 You are so refreshing Amy just like the lemongrass-garlic-chili-powder-whack-bang-of-a-combo!!!
I was there in Nov 2019! Brought back so many memories. I loved this night market so much that I went twice in my 3 days there😂 wonder if we had the grills at the same stall!
Absolutely hectic to try the cuisine in the night market, as the boneless chicken leg looks heaven, along with a pineapple juice in a pineapple skinned jar/cup.
It's definitely not a good idea to watch this when you are hungry. It makes me drool. ^.^ But that jackfruit with sticky rice and the spiky fruit is the most that I want to try. :) Keep making these amazing videos Amy and thank you for sharing your experiences...
As a Chinese living in us, and I am so excited to see your videos as I have been to those palaces and ate all the food you have ate 😅 thanks for the wonderful contents.
It's around midnight here and supprisingly I'm watching this video full of delicious food. This is really a bad time to watch it since no food delivery service is available this moment.😂
As a Chinese borned outside of China, I learned a lot from Amy's videos. I always thought the Chinese food I had are not much different from China. I was wrong.
China is safe, convenient, things are affordable, endless selections of tasty food, and you can always find something to do there even late at night. It's just vibrant and full of life all the time.
this and your last video are really interesting to see personally b/c i didn't even know this region existed?!??! so thank you for broadening my worldview a little here :] that dessert looked amazing - jackfruit is one of my favorites & i've always been intrigued by the sticky rice/fruit combo so i feel like i need to try that sometime if i ever get the chance
for christmas my mom created a tradtion of having "exotic fruits" when i was a kid. I remember the horned melon - I didn't like the flaovr that much, but it was fun to look at and fun to eat
Amy, that fruit (horned melon?) is available here in Australia. I first saw it in Sydney (must’ve been something like Top Juice) I thought it looked so odd that I asked them what it was and they gave me a piece to try! I’m from Guangzhou and have been back to visit a gazillion times + been to other cities in China but had no idea this city existed! It looks amazing, the atmosphere is buzzing 💕
I did my bachelor's in Kunming around 10 years ago. Just felt the pricing the market is a lot higher than what I would expect... Maybe it is a tourist spot?

Wow, another great episode! I hope everyone can see how much Amy loves China. In this episode, the nice Australian accent came out really nice!
The variety of Chinese food can't be compared with any other country in the world。
Because we have 56 ethnic groups, very proud of it🎉

What a fun busy place. A bit surprised you went for the grilled tofu after the ‘balloon’ tofu. But I agree the second one does look a bit deflated! :D
