Tori Amos is so much more than a singer songwriter. She pulls every hidden emotion from me. Watching her is therapeutically spiritual.
I am almost 60 years old and this song moves my heart to weep, I thought I was a creep when I was young and even into mid life, Little did I know how much life can change when you raise your head up and look at the world and say I am here.

Yeah totally. I think in this cover though she's also been the woman running out the door on some guy she might have needed to be more understanding toward. I think her capacity to be reflect on her darkness is what gives her real emotional clout.

Spinny78 It was alright. There were both good songs and very bad songs. I've been to hundreds of concerts, but the venue for this one kind of ruined it for me. Way too large for this type of performance, and not used to sitting down at a concert. Overall I enjoyed it, though.

The only reason anyone's happy with the new album is that it's recycled UTP/SW which, after the dreck of MWG, GD, and NOH sounds amazing in comparison. Two years from now, just like AATS, it will have grown off most people praising it now.
At least UG has four decent songs, which is more than I can say for NOH.
turnoffthetv I disagree with you on something: this new album, or any of the previous since The Beekeeper, are far from sounding similar to UTP or anything from early Tori Amos (the good old Tori Amos I always talking about). Yeah, it's a bit better than her most recent efforts, but it's nothing like the Tori Amos that I discovered and fell in love when I was a teenager.

If there's any woman that can make me cry with her voice it is Tori Amos. So amazing! I met her after her show here in Music City and she shook my hand and told me I was wonderful ( for being a fan, I imagine) but it was so cool that she would come meet the fans after a show. True class act.

I wish so badly for Tori to release this cover officially. I feel so much when I hear it. It is so beautifully soul crushing and cathartic. My heart cries release and then I breathe a deep sigh of relief. In these short five minutes she heals a little piece of me.
