She is beyond-words-amazing. Who could interpolate a Björk song with one of their own and an old Dead or Alive tune? And make it sound like...THIS!? SHE IS A F***ING GENIUS.

Wonderful cover. And to the people who complain about crowd reactions - this show is for them, not for us who just look at the video after the performance. I think every performer would love to hear a crowd react this way, they perform to make people experience different things and feelings. Just put yourself in the crowds shoes, I know I would scream my head off. They don't even scream that much, just when the performance gets reeeeeal. Lovely!

Tori is pretty smart to recognize the genius of Hyperballad. FANTASTIC cover. It's not easy to cover Bjork and make it sound good.

Some people scream because they express their excitement that way. If you've been to one of her concerts you'll notice there are very hyperactive shouting fans and there are the totally frozen, almost meditating fans holding tears back! (I'm the latter). And yeah the quiet ones who want to appreciate Tori without disruption do find the screamers a bit annoying but I guess it has always been part of the "live performance" atmosphere and many artists say that they love that part - the varied fan reactions.
Sometimes people are overwhelmed by their feelings. They just come out. Some come out of my eyes. Other peoples’ come out of their mouths.

The worst thing at a Tori Amos concert is the fucking audience! Used to go to her shows when I was younger and had to stop bc of the them. Piling in aisle, screeching and hollering at the wrong moments. No community among the crowds at a Tori concert.
I would have thought that Tori would have segued from Hyperballad into Maybe Callifornia as both deal with the same theme - not that I'm complaining - Cloud on My Tongue is a favourite of mine

And I can't stop crying whenever I watch her videos and it's because it's so beautiful! She's a angel and she's magical and she's so strong and her strength radiates through every cell of your being! Love you Tori and I look forward to seeing you for my 3rd time in Lewiston NY in July. Tori Amos has been my absolute favorite since I was a young girl! I'm 46 years old now and she sounds like she did all those years ago.

Hyperballad into Cloud On My Tongue is just perfect! So so beautiful, and probably the best Bjork cover I have ever heard. I'm not keen on You Spin Me Round though, but I don't like that song whoever sings it! Tori's covers this tour have been outstanding!

This is absolute justice to Bjork's song since it's difficult to cover Bjork's music and actually sound decent, unlike the Yeah Yeah Yeah's cover of Hyperballad or 30 Seconds to Mars' cover of Hunter. Although, Robyn's cover (imo) was great too.

Sidenote, on the commentary aimed at the audience reacting to the performance: as much as I realize it's probably more frustration talking when calling audience members moved by the music 'obnoxious' and more, one must remember that a live performance is essentially aimed at moving a live audience and is not a studio recording. I would also prefer complete silence apart from Tori, specially considering this specific track (medley...), but I honestly believe that shaming people for their natural reactions (reactions of excitement, happiness, joy & appreciation) is exactly the same as standing in a dancehall, pointing & laughing and singling out someone & making a mockery of them. Or worse, threatening one person on the floor rather nastily to stop or else. It's not cool - I get that ideally we would all be able to brush off such comments regarding ourselves and how other people perceive us, however that's not the way the cookie crumbles. Try be kinder, if you will. Bitch to yourself - Marina Abramovic famously advises one to find a tree once a day, and then bitch - as in full on rant, complain - for at least 15 minutes about anything and everything to the tree. In other words, let it out. Patti Smith even better - she says if you wanna verbally, physically or emotionally bully or attack or in any way damage (or just be plain nasty), then pick up a fucking guitar and do it to music, or to any form of art.
So there - clearly my first thought to leave it in silence was wrong as there's a lot to say :) The world's a rather tough cookie to crack as it is already, getting tougher, without having to add insult to other injuries.
