Bro please do "The Art of Dying" live by them, its unbelievable
art of dying is funny because i listen to it at work and it never seems like its nearly 10 minutes because im just vibing with it so hard
Another great live choppy performance from gojira is REMEMBRANCE the link alive. Choppiest and tightest concert performance from gojira imo.
Remembrance outro, especially on the link alive, is the choppy choppiest of all of the choppiest chops. It just doesnt get choppier than that honestly
@@jez_77Sounds even better than the studio version!
This song is a masterclass on space and tension building.
It's like Gojira went to The CHOP Store and the person at The Chop Store was like "Hi, do you need some choppy chops today?" And Gojira was like, "Here, listen to one of our songs," and the Chop Store person just gave them the keys to the store and said YOU HAVE ALL THE CHOPS!
Haha damn right! 🤘🤘
Crazy how so much of Gojiras tones and melodies skip right past "cool and heavy" and strike emotionally and cathardically at a much deeper level.
Ive cried listening to a few of their songs, lyrically some are devastating and cause deep levels of self reflection, and at times desperation, hope or selflessness. Its really mind blowing to me how some "metal band" is so much more to me than just a band.
So true, just listened to pain is a master yesterday and reading the lyrics took it from a good deep cut to an absolute amazing and transcendental song that can lift you out of the darkest hole
I SAW! I SAW MONsTERS
They are ABSOLUTELY amazing love I just saw them for the 2nd time last month with Lorna Shore and Mastodon 👌
Same here, just amazing. I hung out on the edge of the mosh pit and ended up 15 feet from Joe for a good part of the show. Intense.
@@thoronthol1175that tour was absolutely insane, the amount of energy there and love and pain all mixed together was unreal
Same in Minnesota. Second time seeing them. Great show.
Nobody’s mentioning the KICKS. Over 4 solid minutes of flawless double bass. Inhuman.
loved how at the end you said ,"take a break well deserved". THAT WAS THE LAST FUCKING SONG OF THE SET and they were able to perform this extended masterpiece. best live band in the world in my humble opinion
Toxic garbage island or From the sky next
Please more Gojira
Rememberance
The heaviest manter in the universe
Stranded
Silvera
Born in winther
Choooppyy heavy brutal , big hugs from Brasil.
such a great song man!! gonna tackle it on the drums soon 😮💨🤯
always one of my favourites. great vocals great production. a tad longwinded, but makes it all the more memorable.
yeah man !!! nice to see you puting Joe's work to light - he is an unbelievable vocalist even though his voice's changed a bit on the last 2 albums - and what's to say about Mario !!! the BEAST !!!
next Gojira live track : "pray" live at Red Rock , an absolute banger or "remembrance" from "the Link Alive" DVD ( an older and heavier Gojira track) if you want the true definition of tightness !!!(and one of the best outro i've ever heard )
Anyone who reacts to this masterpiece deserves a sub 👊🏻 do more Gojira!
Gojira - the art of dying/ explosia
So damn good live! Tight, intense, massive energy, excellent sound quality👌
Great Song 🔥✌️
Hail Gojira! 🤘🤘❤ The heaviest matter in the universe!
Also, please check out Gaerea!! Awesome black metal from Portugal! Get the black coffee ready!
I’ve been waiting for this one to pop up in my feed! I can listen to the opening rift of the song on repeat over and over…so heavy.
That bass drum never stood a chance
The Art of Dying next, then Toxic Garbage Island and then Born For One Thing.
Gojira is the best.
Favorite song from them. Every time I hear this song I can imagine what a dragon would be like just rising from its cave. Like the hobbit vibes or got. Just embodies the vibe of a dragon.
"Heaviest Matter of the Universe" by these guys!
Such nice chunky goodness. Those drums are THICC!
They're monsters live.
I need 10% of their energy, it'd make my life easier.
A good heavy drum band is Celtic Frost. Live at Wacken 2006, Ain Elohim. It's a sonic assault. It's a different heavy to what you've done I think. The drumming is more raw brutality than technical.
Sstyricon - Mother North live at the Opera, Frost is pure muscle and adrenalin on the drums. And the song should be Metal heads national anthem.
For double kick insanity George Kollias - Shall Rise be Dead. He's not human. There's a drum performance of it that just needs to be seen to be believed.
If you've done any of these slap me and throw me at the reactions.
Dont know how he can just get up and walk away after that. Youd think his would be like jelly.
Brutal display of power! At 5:02 it looks like the stage is shaking with the band. Even fkn inanimate objects want to join the mosh pit!! 🤘🔥🤘
Yes!! You did more Gojira! Nice bro! 🤘🏼🔥❤️
It’s Joe Duplantier on vocals and rhythm guitar, Mario his brother is the beast giving the poor drum kit a good hiding😁
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving - absolutely love Gojira, one of my top bands, the whole discography, Mars to Sirius album is a bit of stamina challenge on the ears the first few times, but so much fun to play on guitar
Gotta check out The Art of Dying. Hands down their best song. The live version at Vielles Charrues in 2010 is phenomenal.
mario is beast unhuman
You need to listen to their live at red rocks, it feels more like a religious experience than a show...any song you choose is gonna be incredible
"Pray" brought tears to my eyes. I was not expecting that deviation from the album version.
It will be interesting to see your reaction to “Job for a cowboy- Entombed of a machine” because it’s real deathcore classics, a lot of people got into this genre of music after this song in mid 2000’s 🤟🤟
I reckon knee deep had more of an influence but both great songs
ABYSMAL EYE MESHUGGAH PLEASE SEV there’s a video to it too YOULL LOVE IT
Great reaction mate 🔥🔥
Would recommend to give a listen to break you by lamb of god
CHOPPY GOODNESS
