This is one of Gojira's most brutal songs and to believe that this came off thier first or second record is amazing..This entire show is Gojira at thier peak and Joe's voice has never sounded this good since..But that's just mho 🧐🤘✌️
Clone is the first track on their first studio album Terra Inc. which is basically a greatest hits album. For the first decade of their career they didn't leave France. There is still so much material they don't post on Spotify.
@jenrytheduck7168 I wasn't sure if it was the first or second and I didn't want to misspeak...I can just imagine what they have in the vault..I've found 3 all instrumental Ep's on Yt from 1997 and I think 2 in 1998 and they rock..I also like the soundtrack they did for that French movie back in 2003 🧐✌️🤘
so so so many good Gojira songs my dude, SPACE TIME, Born for One Thing, Amazonia, Born in Winter, ART OF DYING Remembrance, DEATH OF ME, too many to name lol, keep diving deeper bro!!!
It's hilarious how out of place this feels at a festival like Vieilles Charrues because that's a very mainstream music festival. For the record that year some other artists performing were Muse, Mika, Boys Noize, Jamiroquai... And then Gojira in the middle, playing some of their earliest/more "hardcore" music. I'm pretty sure a good 80% of the audience didn't know what they were in for ☠
Btw the studio version is good considering how young they were and they recorded the whole album for the equivalent of $600 U.S.D. but Gojira is a band best appreciated live ✌️🤘🧐
Check out their lyrics. Their songs are incredibly deep for how "metal" and lyrically generic youd expect. Lots of ego centric and astro physical concepts
Gojira! You'll find quality music fo sho with gojira ... for me the magma album is just one giant song... that is best listened to in the early morning on the way to work... fantasteeeec!!!
This is from Gojira's first album Terra Incognita, where they had much heavier death metal vibes and hadn't gotten as progressive as they are today. Great stuff. PLEASE check out The Art Of Dying (ruclips.net/video/HTr7bqKHvgE/видео.html) from the album The Way Of All Flesh. Enjoy!!
Hello there mate, i would love to recommend some choppy tunes if you don't mind, first off, thank you for loving tool, it's my favorite band, so, let's start with some jinjer, pearls and swine is the song, it's a banger, then sone tool, schism, sober live at reading festival, you need to watch that one, jerk off live, from Meshuggah i would recommend clockworks, that one is a monster, and please remember to listen to bleed, the audio track, its 7 minutes and a half long, the music video is half that time, and from decapitated, the song No Cure, so there's some songs to have fun with, you will love them, Chop Chop!, and i almost forgot one more jinjer track, judgement punishment, one take studio cam vocal track recording.
Hey my friend thanks alot for the choppy recommendations! I have already reacted to Meshuggah bleed (the music video unfortunately) but will be sure to check out all the other ones you suggested!!
yo brother, there's a waaaaay better version than this. Look up 'Gojira - Clone live bordeaux' the audio is superior. Overall better production in general. Check it out on your own time when you get a chance. I highly recommend it

I'd argue "In the Wilderness" is one of their most brutal
@jordanjoestar8839 oh yeah that one is definitely at the top of the brutality scale lol ✌️🧐🤘
Hell yeah. Old school gojira. They make the best music
Wish they did more of their old songs from their first album live

Gojira - From The Sky is my fav. song of them. You won't be disappointed!
The last part of that song where it goes quiet and gradually builds up to that beautiful riff always gives me the chills
Love me some gojira I'll watch any review of their music
Another absolutely fantastic song from same show is a sight to behold. It’s groovy it’s heavy and it’s bad ass
Btw the studio version is good considering how young they were and they recorded the whole album for the equivalent of $600 U.S.D. but Gojira is a band best appreciated live ✌️🤘🧐
old school Gojira ,pure groove death metal !
its just raw emotions
They’re so fucking awesome live
Check out their lyrics. Their songs are incredibly deep for how "metal" and lyrically generic youd expect. Lots of ego centric and astro physical concepts
“who made them angry” the crowd, nearly more than half of them left the show, because the festival was NOT a metal festival. so they played harder
