One of the more underrated Gojira songs out there!
Possibly my favourite. Those arpeggiated harmonics are just mind blowing!
This is one of those songs you don't play to a first time gojira listener (me 5 years ago). Now its one of my ever-changing favorits by them. So fun. Fuck yea. Hail Satan ❤

I adore this song, the lyrics is one of Gojiras best and the composition is insane, this song is criminally underrated and it's lyrics remain very relavant. It hits you in the soul. Also they used a Vocoder for that vocal affect! I saw them live in Pittsburgh, they didn't play this, but they played The Art of Dying which ROCKED!

Went to the Gojira concert in Laval/Montreal last friday and it was the best experience of my life, they absolutely killed it!

No doubt. Gojira live is amazing. I saw them last week with Mastondon and last year with Deftones. It’s always awesome seeing them live for sure 🤘🤘

Your reaction was pretty much like mine the first time I heard this song. It blew my mind completely. Joe’s arpeggiated harmonics backed by Mario’s jazz like drum beat lights up my soul. Never heard anything quite like it before or since. This is the stuff of legend.

One of the most amazing songs ever. The frustration at how much of a messed up species we are is tempered by the almost joyous arpeggios of Joe’s guitar. Chillingly brilliantly. Still gives me goosebumps.

The Fall and ride on through the rest of that album - they are some of the coolest songs I don't think people have really noticed noticed yet and they go hard. This was one of my early faves though and I think they kind of caught me with it with the uniqueness like you said - I said wow they can go that hard and then that mellow and then that hard again - It's just a joy to hear what they have on their mind turned into music, whatever it is.

It always amaze me to discover how bad the album versions are in comparison to the live versions lol This live has way more layers and complexity than on the album. Incredible. Love this band so much. Saw them at last in Nîmes this summer and it was phenomenal !

The album this song is from is titled The Way of all Flesh. This live version hits way better than the album version. My favorite song off this album is Toxic Garbage Island.
