One of their most underrated songs imo, it’s an absolute rhythmical masterpiece and most gojira fans don’t know or rate it

for the story younger joe lived in a forest for a while whit his girlfriend with no electricity and stuff only nature , this song is about this experience
It's amazing how tight and advanced Gojira's first album is And the progress from album to album is otherworldly It took me 6 months to learn this song first by charting it then sitting down at the kit and actually putting it all together I've seen Gojira 8 times and they are one of the few bands that are actually better live Love and good vibes to the World wide Gojira collective 😎✌️🤘🧐

I love that kid. Mario is mind blowing. At 61 I've heard great drummers but Mario is on a whole other level. Can't get enough of Gojira.
You should also check out "My Last Creation" off of their L'enfant Sauvage Special Edition album. It's underrated I feel.

I really adore Gojira, a month ago I saw him live at the Mexico City Olympic velodrome and it was incredible, an indescribable sensation runs through your entire body.
D Music Life!! Always a great reaction! Been watching you since early Jinjer days. Man do I have a band for you - check out Crypta "Trial of Traitors" official Napalm video. This death-metal band from Brazil is next-level! Some of their influences are Morbid Angel, Jinjer, Gojira, to name a few. They were personally requested by Morbid Angel to go on their last tour, as well as Ghost also requesting them. Crypta has two lead players who have wicked magic, the vocals are other-worldly, and the drummer is astounding! Peace!

Saw them play this at a little club in Denver a long time ago and it was fucking amazing. Never heard the album version until that show and was completely blown away.

is it just me ? the more i listen to some "old" Gojira , the more i hear Meshuggah's influence
gojira pantera and meshuggah are weirdly actually all in the same class of metal, pantera heavily inspired early meshuggah, meshuggah and pantera had an influence on gojira, and then gojira became a unique and amazing band
Once you understand Meshuggah you see their influence everywhere. All of the most popular metal bands look up to them. I just watched a video from 2012 of Meshuggah playing in the middle of the day and Corey Taylor and Joey are there watching them from the side. Pretty sure one of the guys from Mastodon was there also.
Songs Meshuggah did in 1995 sound like they could be released today. That's how ahead of the game they were.
Influence, maybe, but they are way more melodic than Meshuggah. Different vibe entirely.
@@maureenwagg5305 true when you look at their recent work , but go back to "terra incognita" or even "the link" and it's less obvious.I think it all goes down to Joe's and Jens voices mainly IMO

True sad story. Me and my baby momma split after 7 years. For 3 months, I listened to this song 24/7 on repeat and contemplated suicide. I drank a gallon of vodka every day and fantasized about hanging myself on this tree by my pond. I don't know if listening to this helped or hurt but I survived and they are still my favorite band
