Yes! One of my absolute favorites! This is arguably one of the best death metal albuns ever made. You won't regret going all the way with this one! Cheers from Brazil! 🤘🏽
I'm a massive Gojira fanatic and love seeing people hear their songs for the first time. I'm jealous! You definitely need to do The Gift of Guilt live at Brixton Academy and Where Dragons Dwell live at Hellfest. Watching them live will give you even more mad respect for them!!
Imagine being in Formentora, between the Isles of love, and before chilling on the beach with Chris Rea’s “On The Beach”, you’re at an open-air night club grooving slowly to Bryan Ferry’s “Don’t Stop The Dance”
If you guys like the peddles it might be time to try Meshuggah's Bleed. I know it's been done a lot as reaction but even Ty could probably appreciate Tomas Haake's peddle herta's purely from a technical standpoint. Although ,if his calves were already cramping up hearing Gojira, God knows what might happen to him hearing Bleed :D
This is not my favorite group. But i listen and am open everytime! But Mario is a beast on the drums! He and the drummer in Release the Archers. I do appreciate your passion for them. Also the message of saving the planet is right on and necessary! We had a bonus treat of Nick singing "We Only Just Begun".
Amazing reaction guys I would highly recommend you guys reacting to Low Lands from gojira in the future, it is probably one of their most softest songs and one of the most saddest one imo Really you cannot go wrong with band like Gojira, Opeth, Tool, Porcupine Tree etc Also if you guys want to do any songs from the bands that I've mentioned above, especially opeth in the future, i highly recommend doing this ones if possible : Opeth - Moonlapse Vertigo, The Baying of the Hounds, The Drapery Falls, Harlequin Forest, Hessian Peel, Faith In Others (sorry for poor en)
Low Lands is an excellent choice. Personally I'd suggest Born in Winter. It's more unique and about Joe's son, iirc, being born. The rhythm is very interesting, but that tapping that they do for the melody what really sells it to me.
Hello la team! I'm french and my English is not very 👍so, just for say you must take "glass prison" of the group dream theater!! Please 🙏🙏 they are genies and the "batteur" Mike portnoy is just a god.. Just do it and you are the best!! 😊😉👍🙏And I'm a new subscribe!! 👍
Hey guys I think its time for more Alice In Chains. You want live? Well check out Man In The Box, Love Hate Love, actually any of the songs from Live at the Moore. See Layne in his prime ✌
I enjoy any song where there is a change in tempo periodically. The voice is generic for this genre. Drummer kicks ass, for sure. Not melodic enough for my personal taste, but Nick said they do have songs where he actually sings. I'd like to hear that! Il devrait chanter en français vu qu'on comprend rien anyway. LOL Thanks for a new musical experience, Boys. Enjoy the rest of your vacation! I saw the live stream after the fact! Y'all are hilarious! Nick in shorts!?!?!? DAMN! GOOD CHOICE!
I’m sorry Nick, this is just not might type of music. I will listen to some Linken Park ( I know I spelled their name wrong). I’ve tried several times but I just can’t.
Their older stuff, while rhythmically amazing, is extremely heavy and not easy to get into, I wasn't a fan of it at first before listening to their later albums (like Magma from 2016) that shows you their more progressive style and eases you into the voice and style of the band too. After being eased into it though, I do like stuff like this song a lot now ! Nothing wrong with not liking it though, I wouldn't have either if this was my introduction song to Gojira (or metal).
Very surgerical exactly yeah, Speaking of Surgerical check out their song Esoteric Surgery From the same album, Fasten your seatbelts bois

Low Lands, from their album Magma, is a beautiful tune with great cleans by Joe about the passing of his and Mario's mother.
cannot go wrong with more gojira

You know the drummer worked up a mean sweat on this.
Imagine being in Formentora, between the Isles of love, and before chilling on the beach with Chris Rea’s “On The Beach”, you’re at an open-air night club grooving slowly to Bryan Ferry’s “Don’t Stop The Dance”

Their album 'Magma' is their most melodic
I you like Sax with an attitude. Give "Funk No.1 - TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI" a listen.
If yas want a more relaxing one, maybe try ‘The Wild Healer”; “Unicorn”; or “The Heaviest Matter in the Universe”. Hahaha
