I have a plane Jane non turbo s40, anybody know if I can add turbos or who has performance parts for these cars. I rebuilt the motor and now I'm ready for more speed.
It is possible. But there are tons of modifications you’ll have to do in order to get it to work. Not saying it’s not possible, it just depends how far you’re willing to go! There are probably tons of Volvo forums with the info you need!😎
@@WhipGetters In my t5 i had better luck hearing loud pops/bangs when i had decat downpipe and muffler delete, left original resonator in place. Now i have 3" full straight pipe and the pops get drowned out by the exhaust noise sometimes
@jaskajokunen3716 We can see how that happens. If you want some loud pops and burbles, try considering on getting a tune by Hilton Tuning for Fuel Overrun. It’s a really cool feature and if you have loud pops and bangs now or at least before, this will bring it to life 1,000 fold!
I think a 5 cylinder engine is the best thing that ever happened to Volvo

my buddy had one v50t5 with focus rs turbo catless downpipe and it sat on coilovers and 18 inch nebulas around 320 whp

If you’re referring to the silver one, it’s fully 3” straight piped! The t5 motors have such a unique sound compared to the other motors!😎

@@jigzonyt517 that one’s race-spec, and five cylinders sound like a baby V10 so it makes sense that you’d think they switched it with F1 audio.
