@@WhipGetters bet, we’ll I followed y’all over on instagram and sent y’all a clip of my exhaust if ur interested 🤟🏻 stay up y’all. Appreciate y’all being some of the nicest people I’ve run into on youtube
Putting on full new downpipe and exhaust system on my 2013 s60 T5, also doing upper and lower intake manifold, air intake and turbo intake pipe, tcv, cbv, and wastegate upgrades. I already have the intake and turbo Intake pipe installed. Made my turbo blowoff a lot louder and wonderful. Can’t wait for the next step
I’m gonna try to get a 2011 C30 T5 in a few months. Hopefully I can find one with the 6 speed manual. I’m gonna keep it stock except for the exhaust lmao
I miss my old V 70 with the B5244S in it, sadly "The Shaggin Wagon" was lost to a water pump shredding the timing belt. Now I have an equally slow Toyota with the 2AR-FE, I plan to actually throw some aftermarket at it too because shockingly Toyota is so popular you can get aftermarket bolt ons for the Camry!
If you really want a good sound, go to a scrap yard and look for p2 v70r, s60r. Find the exhaust/turbo manifold from Japan. Doesn’t cost much except for time. Then you could always grab some straight pipe for that full loud sound and a resonator to get rid of drone.
I’m not sure if I wanna get a S60R again or a V70R something new. I like both & I’m only concerned about the weight difference. I am 57 and 224 pounds so honestly, I think the wagon will be heavier with me in it versus the s60r
You’re right. The S60R and V70R have about a 200lbs difference, but they seem more scarce than the S60Rs. Plus there’s nothing like a sexy looking wagon!😎
Just a fyi boosteds40 doesn’t have a 5 cylinder. Yes his engine sounds very burbly and similar to the Volvo 5 cylinder but he has the original 4 cylinder engine that the car came with just built and with a bigger turbo
@@WhipGetters no problem I met him back in 2016 when I first got into Volvos I had a s40 as well and it was my first car. I started modifying it and soon after getting it we ended up meeting online and he was getting into cars as well. I helped him out with some stuff but he eventually surpassed me on that platform as I abandoned it for the s60 T5s but I’m very proud of how far he’s come especially since most Volvo enthusiasts consider the “Ned cars” to be ugly and not worth modifying.
@T5_T-Rell As long as someone enjoys modifying what they have is all that matters. Yes there might be some models not worth it in most peoples eyes, but regardless modifying a Volvo in any means should be seen as something great. These cars are not easy and definitely not forgiving!🙃
The old Volvo S60 T5 and R are intoxicating. Amazing value on the used market. V8 performance from a 5 cylinder turbo and close to Bentley comfort
Those cars are nowhere near Bentley comfort...Jesus Christ you're an ldlot
I love my 01 V70 T5
That growl and turbo sound at low rev rpms from these T5s is so sexy
My Volvo is back on the road, throttle body cleaned and new spark plugs
Nothing like the feeling of a fresh Volvo on the road!😎
@@WhipGetters I wish I had it running when y’all made this 😭
We’ll have plenty more!👍

That’s awesome! There’s something about modifying these cars that just gets you addicted to it!😎
Where did you purchase a downpipe from? I have the same car and I’ve been searching
@@keplix5225 I got the tme downpipe from Viva performance. It’s pricey but it’s quality 👌
2:19 finally a good xc90 2.5t straight pipe video
i love that boosteds40 should have actually 4 cylinder whiteblock, those are unicorns)
That rally S40 godamn!!!!!!!!
NA 5 cillinder 2 liter engine right? not sure
The S-60 is a great automobile, reliable and fast, Volvo for life.
Great video, music to my ears, I have an S60 2.4 170 hp, really good cars :)
Amazing cars!
My old blue S60 😍
I have an st225 which has the t5 I love it

I want my c70 to sound like this

The Volvo C30 sounds the best in my opinion, but I may be a little biased since I own one. 😂😁🤷🏻♂️
Just a bit biased 🤣🇸🇪
I don’t reckon it’s biased haha this vid made me want one even more 😂

Got a S60 2,5t AWD 210cv E85 Summum . This is def a sleeper. i race a lot of car easily 🤣 I enjoy the sound everyday going to work
Same. Sound is just amazing, if you get rid of stock exhaust ofc
I love my s60 t5 wish it was a manual though but grear car nonetheless. 😊
1:43 TELL ME IT INST V10 SWAPPED...
I wanna make my 05 s60 sound mean what should I do rn it’s stock
Easiest and most cost effective way is a muffler delete!😎
@@WhipGetterscan confirm sounds real good for cheap

Where are the v50 T5s 😢
Next one!
I have an 05 s60r, straight piped off the turbo. It’s easily one of the louder cars under 600 hp in Kansas City
We feel like that’s the only way to have a modified Volvo! Our S60 is the same and we can’t see it any other way.

@@WhipGetters In the Netherlands there are more V70R's to be found than the S60Rs

My c30 t5 r design has to stay stock because of emissions and sound regulations here.
Those older s40 are 4 bangers smh
It’s been mentioned. Thank you for the correction!👍
My volvo xc90 2.5t unfortunately has a cracked headgasket
So if the v4 is a “baby v8” and the v5 is a “baby v10” does treat make a v6 a baby v12🧐
These are al inline 5 cylinder, not in a V configuration☺️
No such thing as a V4 (except motorcycles) and no such thing as a V5 except the VR5. Inline 5 is a baby v10 and an inline 6 is a baby v12
