Enough with the glamor. Let's put some meat and potatoes on the plate.
Just as Christine and Symone left indelible marks on our Three Stooges
memories, there were some standouts on the "Less put together" side
who provided us with remarkable Stooge moment memories.
Let me introduce:
1) June Gittleson - Probably best remembered for her line: "Come on girls, lets go places and eat things!"
Her appearances with the Stooges are as follows:

2) Blaanche Payson- Probably remembered best as Curly's dancing partner in "Hoi Polli". Laurel and Hardy fans will remember her in "Helpmates" as Ollie's shrew of a wife. Interesting side note was that she was originally in law enforcement and was hired in the silent era by Mack Sennett studios to keep the Keystone Cops from harassing the female stars.
Her appearances with the Stooges are as follows:

3) Maxine Gates - First appeared with the Stooges as carrying "Bill" over the threshold in "Goof on the Roof".
My best memories of her is as Moe's brute of a wife in "Husbands Beware".

16:01 I always laugh at that part. A gag I know seen in many Stooge Shorts, but this one was my favorite. The way Joe says "Let him have it" so innocently and getting smacked in the head with the weight lift I'd so funny.

Wow,Miss June,Miss Blaanche and Miss Maxine sure were very tough women.Miss Christine certainly was a darling woman too.Must've been awesome actresses and great dancers. Miss Maxine is very adorable.

Joe Besser worked with Maxine Gates in the 1952 short Caught On The Bounce. In that same short is the guy who played Carrie The Canary out of costume from the 1952 Stooge short Cuckoo On A Choo Choo. He was the guy peddling newspapers, etc.
The women in the Three Stooges shorts remind me of the women in the Stan and Ollie shorts. They are mostly all shrews, but that's what makes it funny!

The Foley sound work on the shorts was fantastic as well.
My love is only for lovely CURLY, I wish I could born on his time, then I must meet that comedy legend. I often feel soooo much sorry about CURLY for his unwanted living from the world. 😭😭😭🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Great compilation. Love the Blanche Payson stuff. Also, Larry's wife in "Husbands Beware" (10:05, etc) is Lu Leonard, whom I actually saw LIVE onstage playing the Housekeeper in the great musical Man of La Mancha at the McVickers theater in Chicago (the show's 1st national tour; saw it on March 23, 1968). I had no idea who she was at the time. Maxine Gates' collapse onto the bed in "Muscle Up" (13:56) is absolutely hilarious, and... check out the MALE stunt double for Maxine during the final scene. LR
At about 8:35 there's a staircase that looks like the one used in Laurel & Hardy's short The Musicbox.

Curly Joe's voice you can hear on Hanna Barbera cartoon, Jeannie from early 70s. He played the junior gene Babu
Hi Clarence Dixon - You are 99% correct. Actually the voice you are hearing is Joe Besser's voice. He played "Joe" in the last Stooges shorts made by Columbia.
"Curly Joe" was Joe DeRita. He was called that because he physically resembled the original Curly. He is the 3rd Stooge you probably remember from the Three Stooges Cartoons on Television or the full length movies like "The Three Stooges Meet Hercules" or "The Three Stooges - Have Rocket Will Travel"

I remember Joe Besser provided his voice in an episode of The New Scooby-Doo Movies. I don't know who provided the voice of Jeanie.

Eddie Schantz Lu Leonard was also on Married With Children. She played Miss
De Goot when Al tried to return the library book.
I think this was Lu's only Stooge appearance..at least in the Columbia shorts.

LA 1936 what was that like? Probably beautiful. When I was little I remember Curly coming back after his first stroke (which I knew nothing about) and his speech was different and I wondered why. He was just not as smooth. No You Tube in the 1950's. This is great. Curly there was no substitute. Shemp was OK but...
Shemp's come back basically SAVED the Stooges. He was great and unique. He never tried to be Curly or copy him at all.
Curly had plenty Girlfriend s or he said Dames. Who left him Broke when he died.
Moe, Larry, Curly, Shemp and Joe who rarely gets mentioned......the 5 Stooges if mentioned by names.

I did a wiki search on that and found that they were two different set of stairs. I believe the Stooges stairs were in Inglewood, Ca.
