I wanted to review the SSG10 not 7 months ago when it was released but a few months after I had it so I could determine if it really is as good or even better than the SSG24. I have been playing with the SSG24 for 3 years and is the gun I built my channel off of. I hope you enjoy this and don't forget to subscribe and like the video if you thought it was a good review.
Great review thanks, had my ssg24 for over three years now and still going strong. Like you I did the tdc mod and very quickly moved on to the Tridos version
I understood that you have the Snipetor TDC but do you have the r-hop patch too? The air-break and weighted piston of SAP kit don't make a huge difference in sound, so you didn't loose much there. Anyway after the release of SSX-303, probably the SSGs will remain winter back-up replicas. :))
Great video, answers the question we've all been asking. It would be interesting to see an out of the box comparison for both too, but loving you work!
Yes had i the option I would have loved to see that too would have been a little more fair too but I remeber how the ssg24 performed day 1 and I still like the 10 slightly more 🙂
Ya but see the note I put in the summary after it? I said that these phone apps aren't really reliable and that in person the difference silenced versus not silenced in way more noticeable. In reality it is quiter with the silencer 👍
Great Job well done! Please mention the range distance in the future as it's always on our minds :-) Don't be shy to try out the MTW in the future it's my new fav and stupid quiet :-) Keep up the great work and give me a heads up you come to Canada!
Great Video, I noticed your comment on the sound levels, implying that the difference sounded more noticeable. You might already be aware but dB's are a logarithmic scale so a difference of just 3 dB is in fact half as loud.
Yes I am aware they are but if you see on the results it said the SSG24 was louder with the silencer than without but in reality it really isn't. I know a difference in 1 dB is massive 😉
Great vid! Just found your channel and slowly going through them all. My mate bought one of the first 100 batch pre order SSG24s and I have a second batch model as I just missed the deadline... Anyway, his always shot veering to the left (or right, can't remember which) consistently and we couldn't easily correct it. Mine however shot perfectly straight out of the box. Both running at 500fps on 0.2g. We both use Nov 0.46g BBs. My scope is traditional thichk/thin post crosshairs. EVERY shot on mine stays within the centre cross hairs until is drops. If the target is in range and in the centre cross, it hits. Absolutely phenomenal, and great for someone who 'could' build a great sniper rifle but doesn't have the time. I also have a self modified ASG Mk23 and a Nov SSX303 which is also amazing but I've nor had chance to play with it yet. Can't wait!
I must say the ssg24 is a beast if a gun mine always shot well but its old now and my ssg10 is just shooting better now 🙂👍 thanks for watching my content 👍
Nope you don't need a oart for it just make sure you but the one he sells for the ssg10 A1 or A2 as the A2 takes an MLOCK bipod and the A1 takes a standard Harris bipod 🙂
What size spring comes standard in the SSG10? I do not want to go above 500fps and would like to use 0.45 / 0.40 gram bb`s, what spring would be best? And what optics do you prefer?
You select the power spring you want when you buy it. Your looking for a 2.3 joule gun so select the option closest to that and buy a few fps adjusters you you can fine tune it to exactly the power then after that.
Nice comparison ! One of the best out there mate ! I m thinking of changing to the short barrel on my SSg10..as i can see you have the short barrel kit ..any noticeable difference (range + accuracy) compared to the long barrel ? Also would you recommend it ?
No difference with this maybe a tiny fos reduction by about 10 fos but nothing major. It is just as accurate as before so its worth it in my opinion. You can see hiw accurate it is on this anyway 😉👍
Wow, that was some unbelievable performance from them. Well done to you and Stiggy for recording it. You knew your facts. I think with the sound test these apps are very bad and it’s better to just go with your own ear. Well done though. 🔥🔥👍👍🦊
@@FOXGREEN funny enough I was optimizing my bucking and set up the scope alignment and was getting exactly the same effect...like three bbs going through the same hole one after the other...it's crazy!
Hello ..nice video! Just a quick question ! im thinking of getting a novritsch sniper but i cannot decide.SSG10 or SSG24 the main thing is the build quality ssg10 metals feel so cheap ! and on the other hand SSg24 feels so well made and with good materials . i ve seen that you recommend the SSg10 but what do you think about the build quality of both rifles.
The two rifles are made pretty much if the same material internally but I found the tolerances and Quality control on the SSG24 a bit better. I mainly liked the SSG10 more as it was overall more accurate. If I am honest either are good rifles the ssg24 had a better hop up nib that doesn't require breaking in unlike the ssg10 so that is something I love about the ssg24 over the ssg10 also.
