    At the end of the video, you mentioned, dialing in the weight. Can you please elaborate on that. I have looked up the piston kit. I see that the Spring Guide is included. With the exception of the piston, spring guide, rag in the stock, ScotchBrite, was there any other mods? I just purchased the Novriach SSG10. I was kind of disappointed with the noisiness of the rifle. Especially since I purchase the SSX23 as well. Thank you

    Hello, I was asking myself some questions about how much does your fps drop with the air break.
    After seeing the video I think I might try to change the piston one day or another but since i'm only using a 1.4j spring I don't know if this would be worth it considering the fps loss
    I apparently saw that the piston also need larger springs, so i might change it too.
    What spring should i get for shooting around 1.7-1.8 joules with a ssg10V1 with no modification (except for the piston and spring guide used in the video) ?
    And also with a ssg10V1 is there a need of changing other part to fit the piston and spring guide ?

    Incredible decrease in noise over all. I tried the can mod but i cant get rid of the "thwaaang" sound. Maybe its the springs from the trigger unit. the scorpion is everywhere out of stock, so stuffing the rifle stock and doing the can mod is all i can do. Bad info here bud, dry firing a rifle will always be louder than shooting a loaded rifle.
    No comment of joule rating either knowing that your from a 1 joule country it’s so easy to get a quiet rifle, at 2.3j not so easy.
    Misleading video

    • @FOXGREEN
      @FOXGREEN 3 года назад +3

      Your actually very wrong here 1 joule is harder to make quite beacuse an air break won't create as big an air cousin as it does with faster larger springs. This is because the same volume of air can escape out of the nozzle faster with a 1 jouke setup where it can't when that air is accelerated faster by a larger spring meaning 2 joules creates a larger air cousin because the air volume ans nozzle don't change.
      Your assumption is totally wrong. I'd also like to point out that his tests here are done with a 2 joule setup any you can't hear anything except the bb cutting though the air. Your knowledge of the physics is the only thing that is misleading I am afraid. This set up works for 1.5 joukes and up. For 1 joule different parts will be developed to get that working with the same effect.

    • @Akastaten
      @Akastaten  3 года назад +3

      I cant shoot a live round in the studio. Yes it's a given that an empty rifle is louder. Everyone knows that. Do I need to highlight that? I don't think so as most of my video is for airsofter snipers that would know this. If you were to actually watch the video I do comment on the joule rating and the weight of BBs being used. I would suggest watching the info before commenting, it's not helpful for anyone, it's not intelligent.

    • @PaulSmith-gw9ri
      @PaulSmith-gw9ri 3 года назад +1

      @@FOXGREEN lol ok ok so the NO MED snipers we build here in the uk are very easy to get quiet even a stock 330 TM does a great job with its airbrake piston. Maybe you struggle to build sub joule rifle you might need to refine your teching skills further.
      2 joule airsoft rifles in your country are also illegal 🤔 so you’ve recorded yourself test firing a section 1 firearms in the open in Northern Ireland 🤔🤔.
