My narc said he didn't know the smashed window, my bleeding toe, the flipped tables, the holes in the wall, the perpetual mess in the home, the yelling and swearing at me and his 89yr old mother etc scared me and affected me negatively and blamed me for not telling him about it. He hadn't worked for more than 10yrs and said I should have nagged him to get a job if working was so important to me. He said he had it worse as a child and this is nothing.
@@watchonly1321 Why are you trauma dumping on my comment? You need to accept your part in all this that you let that person do this.. Next time someone gets violent or abusive, you'll know what not to do. Don't date any more losers. No more referring to this utter scum bag as "my narc" either.
I think for my last narcissist, he would feel bad in the moment but later on was able to justify what he did bc he talked himself out of the shame of his actions.
The way he describes his cognitive ability to know he was wrong, but not being able to “tap into” the sadness of his own hurtful behavior is eye opening and really sad, but also freeing in a way.
