Nice programing.
Nice video. Clear and concise👍🏻
Thank you
Thank you for this. I am new and this is great!
Thank you! Glad we could help!
Nice refresher on uses for soft jaws. I'm sure a lot of home shop operators don't know the big advantages of their use when making custom parts. I learned over time but was never taught or explained any vise jaw options. Thanks for the vid and take care.
Thanks for watching
Also seeing an exhaustive surrender to lathe jaws.
Used with the existing jaws with an anchor screw. Saw these built in a set of 4 to use on 3 & 4 jaw units.
Copper ,brass, aluminum and tool steel to save the original or restore the worn set.
Great video!
Thank you
Hi, good vid, Im begginer and I will do parts like that, I want ask you, Is your mill cnc conversion? how does the R8 weldon or ER specific tool holder work to repat the Z heigh in cnc? Is many Z heigh variation when you changing tool like weldon? because I dont know how many Z heigh can change depending how many torque do in drawbar, many thanks
None of our machines are cnc converted right now, all factory cnc. Any of the R8 solid holders or ER R8 holders are good for cnc. Tool height should not change at all if your tools are tight. Drawbar torque should not change tool height ether. If it does, your holder or spindle are dirty.
The hell? Run a fly cutter across the back/mounting face, and the botttom face before you drill/mill the holes to give them solid mounting faces. Use some basic skills and understanding here guy.
Did you watch the whole thing? He does address that point 6:06
Yeah its best to cut the back for the best alignment and grip. See 6:06.
