Thank you for posting this. Despite what anyone says or thinks, I know God used my sister Ellen White as a prophet and I believe in the SOP. I am encouraged by this presentation. Praise to God for His faithfulness.
Your problem is don’t care what others say about your demonic prophet. People like Canright and Ballenger and actual Bible scholars. You only listen to the leaders of your demonic cult. The true and the false tread the same ground and because the deception is so subtle it may be hard for the "unsanctified" heart to tell them apart. Look how many blindly follow the pope who the Bible calls the man of sin (2Thess 2:3-4), and Rome the 4th beast (Dan 7:23-25). Though they may not have agreed on every point, every reformer of God declared the pope is the Antichrist, yet today we see the prophesy being fulfilled, "...and his deadly wound was healed, and all the world wondered after the beast" (Rev 13:3)--vs 8 clarifies its the unsanctified world that wonders... It comes down to heart and motives (Jer 17:9). People attend the church that most agrees with their own agenda. Today you will see rainbow flags outside many ecumenical churches and some even teach that these people were chosen of God to be that way and are therefore perfect in His sight; no need for them to change, instead we need to be more tolerant of them. The Bible is full of promises to help every searching heart to overcome Satan's temptations and because Ellen White taught this, as Jesus instructs all His followers to teach this; every Bible writer taught this... she is looked down upon and criticized as was Christ Himself. Every time Satan sends a fiery dart my way I claim 1Cor 10:13, Jas 4:7-8, and Jude 24. Once you try it and see that it does work you'll realize its not Ellen White you've been fighting, but God Himself; she was just His messenger. There is the historic side that adheres to the authorized KJV and acknowledges the Spirit of Prophesy as "sent of God", that's me... and there's the "ecumenical" side that cast the "Testimonies" into the trash heap, are now using false bibles, and has gone the way of the enemy; some have even turned away from the 7th-day Sabbath truth that Paul confirmed is still the rest to the people of God in Hebrews 4:1-11, and are now keeping the pope's day, sunday! I am also told there are some 500+/- active Sabbatarian denominations today and like the 35,000 sunday-keeping denominations, no two agree on every point of doctrine. #15...you do know that baptism replaces circumcision, not that we consider circumcision wrong, it's just no longer a sign of sanctification; today it's a choice. Since I have never spoken of it with fellow congregants I don't know how many are or are not circumcised, neither would I care to... The animal sacrifices were all part of the ceremonial laws "ordinances" that pointed ahead to Christ's ministry and since His perfect life of obedience to the Father's will and His crucifixion are no longer in force (Col 2:14). Remember Paul rebuked the Galatians for reverting back to the ceremonial laws (Gal 3:1-15). Now "if" I sin, I go to the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, confess my sins and believe He forgives me. This testimony of mine is true...While I was reading The Great Controversy...It was about 12:30AM. ..An evil force was literally stopping me from reading the book. This amazed me...I realised. ..The book has something valuable to contribute ...As I went to bed, while still my eyes wide open, there stood an evil spirit as a human being right in front of me..not once ...but six times with quick intervals. First time, I shouted...Jesus....immediately my dad and others came running....not to give a false impression that I was under possession, I withstood him all the time. The next day, I devoured the book. I was asking the Lord continually as to the purpose of the anointment I was under while reading the book. ...what happened after two month since then is history. This history has been a pivotal turning point to my analytical study of the Bible. ...After 2 months since then, I was caught up in a weird situation under 25 so called junior pastors and two senior couple. If not for the book , I could not have fought a godly fight as Martin Luther did. The book was written by E. G White as a classic in my personal life. The references and the encouragement given in the book how to recognize false teachings and how to attack them in the name of Jesus is still a secret of my edification in Christ....I am an Indian...
The book does not have anything as such against the Scriptures...I learnt the live reformation work , and history cannot be refuted. The scriptural references are what I am talking about. I am also against John McCarthur's disbelief in the continuation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. But still, I enjoy reading the other indepth analyses of his exegesis. I am never against Scriptures and church history. But am against Ellen G's dangerous misconceptions about hell, dietary laws etc.
Misconceptions about hell? Do you honestly believe that after 30 trillion years the wicked are still screaming and writhing in agony for sins they committed here on earth between 30 and 50 years? Where's the justice and mercy in that? Also, it's Christ's breath or spirit that gives us life (Gen 2:7). In order for the damned to stay alive for the ceaseless ages agonizing, Jesus' spirit would have to be suffering along with them. How is that fair to Him who had no part in their decision to be rebellious in the first place? The Bible says God will bring forth a fire from the midst of Satan, it shall devour him, turn him to ash and NEVER shall he be again (Ezekiel 28:18-19). Obadiah 15-16 says very much the same about his followers. Proverbs 8:36 says all that hate God love death, and Jesus confirms, "... he that believeth not the Son shall not see life..." (Jn 3:36). God hates no one, the reason Satan was cast out of heaven is because he hates God and no one that hates God could ever stand in His presence and live. Our God is a consuming fire...

Any denomination which erupts from a single brain or couple can be dangerous. Here in our state, there are 2 churches founded by single men's brains. But my understanding of the Word of God not backward. If prophetic books are misinterpreted, there ends the matter. Gender difference does exist in those worlds. Of course he took Hindu mythological gods travelling on swan like boats...and also UFOs and flying saucers. There are trillions of demonic phrases and sentences in his books. Sadly, he has some 800 churches developing under him. Many souls are gathering under his venomous wings. I love reading prophetic books. I read especially the commentaries produced after 1948. Before this period, even such a man as Martin Luther had no proper understanding of THE Book of Revelation. Do not have E.G.WHITE as the source of your understanding the Word Of God. Rather, begin to read the Bible apart from her. You seem to be an ardent follower of E G White. Become a total follower of Christ. Be open to read books in a broader range without prejudice or preconceptions. It is very dangerous to depend on someone else's brain. Some were inspired in various points; others were so far off I threw them into the trash to prevent anyone else from being deceived by them. Then in 2008 I read “The Great Controversy” and I couldn’t put it down… the truths it contains are so matter of fact I had to scratch my head and ask why this is the first time I had access to this Holy Spirit inspired masterpiece!! Then I read “Desire of Ages”, “Steps to Christ” “Ministry of Healing”, “Patriarchs and Prophets”, “Prophets and Kings”, “Counsels on Diets and Foods”, and all 9 volumes of the “Testimonies”, while comparing them with the authorized KJV, and I am convinced no other author I am aware of loved Jesus Christ as much as Ellen G. White… I was also surprised to find that a number of things the Spirit of Prophesy books reveal had already been revealed to me by the Holy Spirit; so when I read them in her books I was happy to see we are on the same page. What really blew my mind, however, was the way she explains Hebrews. No other commentary even comes close to understanding that book and it is a vital book for these last days. While most Sunday keepers are still arguing whether Paul was the author or not, we have a thorough knowledge of what our High Priest is doing for us as we speak. Other churches haven’t got a clue and most just pass the whole book by with all its promises. No, I don’t promote Ellen White, I give her no credit whatsoever, other than the fact that she was willing to surrender all to Jesus and then be used for His glory. Tell me of another that lived so humbly, in spite of their literary success, so Jesus could shine forth in their work? The SDA Church was named and established because God knew that the end-time “Christian” churches would fulfill the prophesy of Rev 13:3, 8 by helping to heal the deadly wound that most of the reformers helped to inflict, and by wondering after the beast, as every Sunday-keeping ecumenical church has done; while most still have no clue who the beast is. Every reformer knew who the beast is…Ellen White was a reformer. We are the remnant who proclaims the 3Angels Messages to a world in sorrow and darkness. The rest are carrying on in their crossless religion asking, “…what can Jesus do for me today!!”, while they “Rock” heaven down, dressed in their own wedding garments; as we alone are carrying on in the faith once delivered unto the saints. It has taken me years to find a church that encourages overcoming sin, as Jesus did, and then show from Scripture more than 3,500 promises His elect can claim every time satan bogs us down with temptations. This offends many, they want an unconditional path to all heaven’s glories. I have never read this in the KJV and I’m saddened to think when many of those who lived life according to those false promises find they’ve been taken up in the second resurrection of the wicked, they’re going to wonder why they refused to give in to the pleadings of the Holy Spirit and perfect their characters while there was still time. I have a Sunday-keeping friend who goes to bars to minister to “drunks” and she dresses like they do, and she drinks like they do and eats all the same bar food they do, and I have to ask if she’s reaching them or have they reached her? She believes that Sunday-keeping fable, ‘once saved always saved’, even though I remind her of Ananias and Sapphira, and she tells me not to worry, she’s already in the kingdom…

1. If every man from Adam to Moses kept the Sabbath, why is the Hebrew word for the weekly Sabbath found in the ten commandments, never found in the book of Genesis? Why is no one before Moses ever being told to keep the Sabbath. Why are there no examples of anyone keeping the Sabbath? 2. Why would God leave out the "all important" Sabbath command? 3. If breaking the Sabbath was punishable by death in the Old Testament (Exodus 31:14 & 35:2), why is it not condemned in any way, shape, or form in the New Testament? I'm a sinner seeking to be saved by God's grace. Now that the age of the internet has come about, I feel we will know more truth on past messages, and newer truth to come. Problem is, most won't seek and find. They are content to what was given to them in the past. And real Christians have open minds, not only to observe the fruits of others, but to seek out good fruit in the scripture, not on others writings.

She is not our “Mary”, we don’t worship her as the catholics falsely worship the mother of Christ and their other “saints” and statues (Is 42:8), but she is a prophet nonetheless and I have yet to see one instance where her writings contradict the authorized KJV. Ellen White never tested the spirit of her guiding angel as we are commanded to do. 1John 4:1 "My dear friends, do not believe all who claim to have the Spirit, but test them to find out if the spirit they have comes from God. For many false prophets have gone out everywhere." Question: Are you willing to Test your own prophet? If so check out the series "Test the Prophet" here on RUclips. Daniel 8:13-14 is foundational for our Seventh Day Adventist movement therefore it is important to consider if there is more fitting interpretation of this prophecy, more fitting for this present time, progressive present truth interpretation. There are two words that identify the subject of this prophecy, the words are “taw-meed” H8548, and “ko’-desh”H6944, both words identify the same subject. From Strong’s for “taw-meed” we have: “continuance (as indefinite extension); perpetual”, and for “ko’-desh”: “hallowed (thing), holiness,”. Based on these identifying words the subject of this prophecy has the characteristics of holiness and of perpetual continuance. This can not be daily sacrifice in the Sanctuary, sacrifices and Sanctuary are not perpetual, do not have “indefinite extension”. What is holy and perpetual with infinite extension? It is the 7th day Shabbat. Using same method as in Dan ch 5 to decipher the writing on the wall, we can interpret Dan 8:13-14 as follows: “2300 evenings and mornings and the perpetual holy Shabbat will be restored to the Sanctuary the Christian Church” this interpretation of "ko-desh" as Shabbat is derived from the Hebrew root word for "ko’-desh found in Genesis 2:3. Daily sacrifices and Sanctuary are not perpetual, Jesus was the final sacrifice once and for all, and there will be no Temple in the New Jerusalem, only Jesus the Messiah and His Shabbat have infinite perpetual extension. Facts on the ground after the disappointment in 1844 confirm this interpretation, fulfillment of Daniel 8:13-14 is raising up of the Seventh Day Adventist movement with the primary mission to restore the Biblical Decalogue in the multi-denominational Christian Church. Regarding Day of Atonement typology, the words in Lev 16:5 are “two hairy”, that is two “saw-eer” H8163, first use of this word is in Gen 27:11 for Esau, Jacob becomes the second “saw-eer” in order to receive the blessing from Isaac, and then becomes “saw-eer azazel” when escaping to Laban. Primary typology for Lev 16:5 is Esau, Jacob, the ram is Isaac, secondary typology is Christians, Jews, Jesus. Day of Atonement is triune sacrifice, on Golgotha we have three crosses, Jesus and two sinners, one representing Christians and the other representing the Jewish nation. Ellen White in her “Unusual Statement on the scapegoat” confirms this. Day of Atonement is also the Day of Reconciliation, reconciliation within the Biblical family of Jesus, the Jews, and the Christian Church.

I once tried to use them to show a friend that Paul was referring to the ceremonial laws in Col 2:14, and not the Decalogue, as most "Christian" churches teach, and I couldn't. They lump them both into one. This is part of the reason so much confusion exists between the churches...

True churches don't change Sabbath to Sunday, especially when the Scriptures warn the BEAST (Rome) would think to change the times and laws of God (Dan 7:23-25). Then to have Jesus Christ declare Himself Lord of the Sabbath and before He went to the cross clearly state that He came NOT to change the law or the prophets, but to fulfill, what excuse do you have?? Paul warns in 2Thess 2:7-12 that all who do not love the truth (Jesus is the way, the truth and the life), God will send them strong delusion and they will believe the lie to their own destruction. Jesus says, "If ye love me, KEEP my commandments" (Jn 14:15)... He doesn't say break or change them, He clearly says KEEP them. Sounds like your church has done far more changing the Word of God than Ellen White...
There is much in Adventist Church that is not in the Bible. Examples are: 1. Investigative judgment, 2. 1844 supposedly movement of Jesus from holy place to the holy of holies in heaven, 3. Sabbath as a seal of God's people, 4. Rejection of those who never embraced the 1844 message of Christ's advent, The gift of prophecy in the Adventist church is considered fulfilled in E.G. White alone. No other prophet!

Hello Gene: Is your church being divided on the same issue that started the Great Controversy in heaven? "Is the Son of God a created being like lucifer and therefore is lucifer/satan now worthy of the worship that only the Godhead is due?" If you read the first chapter of "Patriarchs and Prophets" (Why Was Sin Permitted) you should have your answer. The "un-created" Son of God, who is one with the Father, spoke everything into existence, out of nothing, with His own breath (Heb 11:3); this is what makes Him the Creator. The Bible says that God is worthy of worship because He created all things for His own pleasure (Rv 4:11). The devil can't create, he can't even procreate... In Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14 we read the reason satan was cast out of heaven is because he declared himself equal to the Son of God. Since he was not able to raise himself up to the level of creator, the only way he could accomplish this was to somehow attempt to bring the son of God down to "created-being" status and then the whole universe would see that they are equal, which is a lie. @Charisma 101 Actually, she copied nothing from Joseph Smith and that's a fact. I've dealt with this Smith-White thing for over 20 years. The threat of coming out with a book to expose it all, which never seems to materialize is proof enough that it pie in the sky. I received a package of Raw data from J Mark Martin's ministry, maybe from the man himself trying to show the Smith-White connection. The only thing the data shows is that they both used the King James Bible. And would Bill Johnsson recant? His data is from the Veltman report and I believe the figure is higher than 19%. A good amount she got from Adventsit pioneers J. N. Andrews and Uriah Smith. Ellen never "self proclaimed" herself a prophet. In fact, she did not prefer the term prophet. Rather she prefered the title, Messenger of the Lord, for her work entailed much more than that of a prophet and regarding how many of her day claimed to be prophets (like Josesph Smith) bringing great shame to the prophectic office, she would rather distance herself from such self-serving titles. As for her gift, she herself tells us she was not cannonical and did not have cannonical authority but that Scripture was higher and it was all we needed. See Word to the Little Flock (1849) page 13 and the introduction to the 1911 edition of the Great Controversy, one of the few Introductions she wrote herself. These statements stand as bookends of her ministry which covered over 70 years.

This was a product of their time and generation. Nor did EGW state anywhere that Jesus would come back in 1868. Actually she did not want to be called a prophet. She always claimed her inspirations are the lesser light as the Bible greater light. If our actions through studying her writings contradicts with the Bible, we should always follow the Bible, not her writings.

Since you and your spiritual mother are largely residing under the old covenant I am amazed that you should take exception to drums, and indeed more of the noisy genre which are easily to be found in the OT. My dear brother, John, please accept my sincerest apologies, I had no idea you were so distraught. Sometimes it’s hard to hear another’s cries though a mere post; this is my flaw. Since I’ve been on this site its been one attack after another and I am still working on character perfection. God have mercy on me a sinner… Our message is a hard one for the world to bear, we are to be a peculiar people zealous of good works and most don’t like the loneliness that accompanies that. SOP says the health message is a message of love and if the one practicing it doesn’t have the love of God they have mistaken their call and should come out of it. There is to be no extremism in Adventism, clearly you have met those who have mistaken their call. When I first joined the church this was my experience as well, however, I wasn’t about to miss out on the benefits, so I chose to love them from afar. God is love, we are to be too. I had a discussion with a young girl in one of the churches I attend, she was born SDA, I was born catholic. She told me she was thankful her mother raised her vegan, it sure kept her from catching colds and flues the other kids at school were getting and passing along, but then one day she woke up after reading “Desire of Ages” and it lead her to the conclusion that our health message and dress code were legalistic; God’s love is what she’s going to focus on now. She also told me she would appreciate it if when I go through the lunch line I wouldn’t ask what is vegan and what isn’t because she feels it makes those who have prepared the meals uncomfortable, as if their effort was not good enough for me (no one ever brought this to my attention before, usually people will come up to me and tell me they brought a vegan dish and would like my opinion). I informed her I am lactose-intolerant and I will not eat any dairy or cheese, health message or not; she had no reply. Then I asked her if she believed the Commandments were legalism or are they the law of love? She didn’t know… I told her the seventh Commandment says, “Thou shalt not commit adultery” (Ex 20:14), it goes no further. If I want a full explanation I have to go to the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus says, “…That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart” (Mt 5:28). My question to her was, if a man struggling with porn addiction comes to our church to find truth and instead is bombarded with women who are dressed to show off their cleavage and buttocks, are they showing love for their brother? Paul says: “But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; and through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend” (1Cor 8:8-13). Although Paul mentioned things offered to idols, the point I get from this passage is that the salvation of my brother should be more important to me than my desire to taste and enjoy. Putting others before ourselves is the lesson of Christ and it is our sworn duty, but most don’t get that, they are too consumed with restrictions and, “…what now, LORD???” I don't claim the intelligence to argue with God and He has given me discernment. Jesus says, “Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!” (Mt 18:7)… Christ gave all for us and requires that we be willing to deny self and all that satan offers, pick up our cross and follow Him daily, out of love, not because I have to in order to get to heaven; because Jesus said, “if ye love me, keep my commandments” (Jn 14:15); what better reason? He could have said: keep my commandments or you’re going straight to hell, which we can’t argue, if you break one you’ve broken them all (Jas 2:8-12; Rv 22:14-15), but Jesus words it in a way that love becomes the motive, and not fear. Yes, His words have been taken out of context, especially in the lesser Jesuit bibles... as have many SOP passages. I have to argue with some folks who have clearly misquoted or put the cart before the horse in many of Ellen White’s writings. Some who have compiled her warnings have done far more harm than good, especially if they are not sanctified in the truth. The “primary” reason SDAs are to refrain from flesh-eating is because in the Sanctuary the high priest ate the sacrifice in the Holy Place, but once he entered the Most Holy, he no longer ate flesh. Since 1844, our High Priest, Jesus Christ entered into the veil and we are the ones who “follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth” (Rev 14:4). By refraining from meat-eating, we are committing ourselves to Him in this way. The benefits of the health message are to be the “second” consideration, and especially today with all the damage science has done to our livestock. I’m sure you’ve heard that eating flesh strengthens our lower/base passions and many who do are not able to control their anger or their desires, sexual or otherwise, and like the drunkard are completely oblivious to this fact. I know it’s true for me, I have seen the transformation in my own life and I won’t go back there again. Though I would never refer to her as ‘Mother’ Ellen, she did speak from a mother’s heart of concern. She envisioned things in her day we are now seeing and it disturbed her when she saw the indifference of this generation. May 14, 2020 is the day pope Francis will meet with all religious leaders around the globe and his “Paris Agreement” (climate change agenda) will be first priority; point 237 is the Sunday law and a subtle demand to accept their eucharist. The students skipping school on Fridays under the leadership of Greta Thunberg say they will continue until every nation is in league with the demands of Laudato si. If the Jesuits get their way, America, who now owes someone $23 trillion, will become a third-world catholic nation and all our liberties, which many already take for granted will be abolished. Not to fear, as God says, there is no fear in love (1Jn 4:18), I am in His care and I know that to obey is better than sacrifice. The health message will also prepare me for a day when flesh meats, dairy and cheeses will not be readily available to us as we will be on the “move” and not have time to shop at the grocery to pick up dinner. I eat a lot of things in nature and SOP encourages the use of herbs for healthcare. If nothing else my experience as a Seventh-day Adventist has brought me to the conclusion that Heaven is cheap enough, because this life with all its pain and suffering is not even a twinkle in the eye of eternity. So why would so many willingly forfeit eternal bliss with the Creator of the cosmos traveling from planet to planet, star to star and galaxy to galaxy in a universe free from darkness or anything that even resembles our cursed world, for a moment of fleeting happiness here? I believe that if all would pray for the heart of Jesus, the veil would be lifted and they would begin to see the truth; many for the first time. I also know that satan will take you as high as you let him, because the higher you allow the devil to take you the more pieces you will break into when he smashes you to the ground! He is not your friend, this fallen angel will do, say or give you anything in his power to see you curse God and die. If we want God’s blessing, we must do it God’s way. And, I firmly believe that all who make it to Heaven will spend every moment with Jesus Christ for the rest of eternity; to prepare for this I want to spend every moment with Him now. This Son is the mediator between us & God (1tim2:5 ) Now we all have a spirit, you & me,that's because we are made in their image. Ellen's greatest sin in my opinion is she taught a righteousness that included obedience to law. Paul exposes Ellen and her followers by describing this righteousness as the righteousness of moses! Rom 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. If only Ellen understood Righteousness today is apart from law! Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. Ellen has paved the way of many a poor soul to hell. May God have had mercy on her soul.

...The door of salvation had closed on all who left the 1844 movement. At that time there were more than 50,000 people waiting for Christ's return, and when He didn't only 50 remained to carry on the task. These were the true believers who came to the conclusion that they had erred and then went back to the Scriptures to study and find out where they miscalculated. It wasn't the date they got wrong, it was the event. Those who left were there for the prize only, they had never been truly converted, and this "great disappointment" was enough to shake them out of the faith and back into the world where they would stay. Christ cannot use folks like this, those who come only for the bread that perishes, and so their probation closed on that day. This will be the fate of all who put their hand to the plow and then turn back (Lk 9:62). We are in this to stay...come what may, and anyone who rejects the light God so graciously shares with them becomes equally filled with darkness. I pray you do not allow this to happen to you... @Joel Villarreal... Hello Joel, I answered these two questions already, however, you might not be able to find them without much searching so I will answer them again. First off the plagiarism laws weren't established until the 1980's, Ellen White died in 1915, so no, legally she is not guilty of "plagiarism". Biblically speaking everyone from Joshua to Paul, including Jesus Himself, quoted someone else's words and not everyone gave credit to the writer. Isaiah is said to be the most quoted OT prophet in the NT. Of course the Bible is all the Word of God, so no one looks at it as plagiarism... However, since God created everything, He owns everything; every word uttered and unuttered from the foundation of the world, including your thoughts and mine, are His by right and He reveals His truths to anyone who will hear them. If that person then chooses to use God's sacred truths to lure you into their lies, as the false prophets do, God may choose to exercise His right to send His true prophet to their books, gather up His words of truth, that they ultimately stole, and then use them for their intended purpose, while not giving credit to the "thief" so others won't be deceived by their debased works. Unless they confess, repent, renounce and rebuke the evil they allowed to stand between them and God, they will be held accountable for every soul lost due to their sinful neglect. Part of Ellen White's commission was to gather up these precious pearls and use them for God's glory, as she never glorified herself, and she was instructed only to give credit to those who God told her to. Liars will not be recognized by God as His disciples, though they may have spoken some truth. This is God's way of setting the record straight. Ellen White passed every test of a true prophet. Being born and raised in the abominable catholic church, I heard some truth, but in the final analysis everything I was taught led me to the sunday and so those responsible will be annihilated, except they repent. Consider the times and you will understand not every generation has had the same light we have available to us. Also note that the more we have the more we are held accountable for (Lk 12:48). Because of the 1260 years of "Dark Ages" (538-1798) where the papal armies marched across Europe burning Bibles and killing anyone they knew who had one, there was much ignorance to the Scriptures and like today, most of the people lived in gross darkness (Is 60:2). As in Paul's day, the people of the "Great Disappointment" were awaiting the Second Coming and making plans. Did Paul instruct us to discourage them by telling them they were not filled with the Holy Spirit or did he try to explain things more clearly? Remember, in William Miller's time there was such a dearth of Bible knowledge because of the damage caused by the papal church, that revivals were springing up everywhere. God was leading His people to His Word and some were diving in head-first. It's the nature of many to go above and beyond and this is why prayer and fasting is to accompany our study of God's Word. Every true Christian is eagerly awaiting the Master's return and some jump the gun. Yes, this is wrong as it causes more harm than good, but Sanctification is a life-long process. No one finds Jesus and is immediately filled with all wisdom and knowledge. Paul says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2Tm 2:15)... in other words it takes more than one read through the Book. I have been a Bible student for more than 30 years and I still have eons to go in understanding the Word fully. I do know enough not to be deceived by the false prophet and accept their false day of pagan "sun" worship (the pope's day); but I didn't always. For this reason I must be careful not to discourage others who are still on the fence. We are a church divided and constantly under attack and satan easily sends in his clowns to bully people away from the truth. Most of the other churches have already given in to satan's day of rest and he rewards them with a feeling of "celebration" that is truly deceptive. As long as you are steeped in the Word of God you can not be moved, so don't worry, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (2Tm 1:7)... Those who jump the gun in setting a date for Christ's return are simply new in the faith, even if they've been in it for decades. Some people study only one aspect of the Scriptures and leave the rest untouched; in this they are unbalanced and become dangerous. We are warned there is to be no extremism in Adventism. If Family Radio's Harold Camping, who falsely predicted the Second Coming on May 21st and then again on Oct 21, 2011 would have studied the character of Christ first, which we all must have in order to be resurrected or translated, he would have known better to encourage all to overcome sin first, and second to prophesy Christ's return. I would tune in to his program on occasion to hear his uncompassionate replies to those who were starving for truth and it would make me cry. He also refused to take calls from SDAs who would have warned him of the danger of date setting. Know that the SDA church has never set a date for the return of Christ, although some within the denomination may have.

The true and the false tread the same ground and because the deception is so subtle it may be hard for the "unsanctified" heart to tell them apart. Look how many blindly follow the pope who the Bible calls the man of sin (2Thess 2:3-4), and Rome the 4th beast (Dan 7:23-25). Though they may not have agreed on every point, every reformer of God declared the pope is the Antichrist, yet today we see the prophesy being fulfilled, "...and his deadly wound was healed, and all the world wondered after the beast" (Rev 13:3)--vs 8 clarifies its the unsanctified world that wonders...
It comes down to heart and motives (Jer 17:9). People attend the church that most agrees with their own agenda. Today you will see rainbow flags outside many ecumenical churches and some even teach that these people were chosen of God to be that way and are therefore perfect in His sight; no need for them to change, instead we need to be more tolerant of them. The Bible is full of promises to help every searching heart to overcome Satan's temptations and because Ellen White taught this, as Jesus instructs all His followers to teach this; every Bible writer taught this... she is looked down upon and criticized as was Christ Himself.
Every time Satan sends a fiery dart my way I claim 1Cor 10:13, Jas 4:7-8, and Jude 24. Once you try it and see that it does work you'll realize its not Ellen White you've been fighting, but God Himself; she was just His messenger. 1. If every man from Adam to Moses kept the Sabbath, why is the Hebrew word for the weekly Sabbath found in the ten commandments, never found in the book of Genesis? Why is no one before Moses ever being told to keep the Sabbath. Why are there no examples of anyone keeping the Sabbath?
2. Why were the Patriarchs never instructed about he Sabbath, but were instructed regarding: offerings: Gen 4:3-4, Altars Gen 8:20, Priests: Gen 14:18, Tithes: Gen 14:20, Circumcision: Gen 17:10, Marriage: Gen 2:24 & Gen 34:9. Why would God leave out the "all important" Sabbath command?
3. If the fact that God wrote the 10 commandments on stone proves they are forever, then whatever happened to the two stone tablets that God gave Adam at the beginning of time? Why is Moses the first one to see a stone tablet written by the finger of God?
4. Why is the weekly Sabbath commandment never quoted in the New Testament?
5. Why is the Sabbath the only one of the ten commandments that are said to be "throughout your generations", the usual phrase that indicates it was a temporary ceremonial law only for the Jews?
6. Why is there no example of exclusively Christians coming together on the Sabbath day as a church or prayer meeting after the resurrection of Christ?
7. Why is there no command in the New Testament for Christians to keep the Sabbath holy?
8. While Paul taught in the synagogues up to 84 times, why does the Bible never say he kept the sabbath?
9. If Paul's action of preaching to non-believers 84 times in the book of Acts on the Sabbath make him a Sabbath keeper, is a Seventh-day Adventist pastor a Sunday keeper if we invite him for 84 Sundays in a row to teach us about God's word?
10. How could Adam, Noah and Abraham keep the Sabbath, when Deuteronomy 5:2-4 says that the 10 commandment covenant (see was "not made with any of the fathers of Israel who lived before Moses."
11. If the Sabbath was intended for all people, both Jew and Gentile, then why does Exodus 31:16-17 state that the Sabbath was a sign between God and the "Children of Israel" instead of clarifying that it should be kept by all people of all nations for all time?
12. Why is the Sabbath never mentioned in the Book of Job? The title character of this book is said to be the most righteous and religious man that ever lived (next to Jesus), but with that being the case, how come his story is completely void of any reference to the Sabbath or any other law/restriction given by Moses?
13. If breaking the Sabbath was punishable by death in the Old Testament (Exodus 31:14 & 35:2), why is it not condemned in any way, shape, or form in the New Testament? Various passages in the New Testament list numerous types of sinners who will not inherit the kingdom (see 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, 1 Timothy 1:9-10, and Revelation 21:8 & 22:15), but none of those lists ever mention Sabbath-breakers. Why is that?

17. If the Sabbath law is still in force, then why do they not stone their own members when they break the Sabbath as the law said?
18. Ellen G. White, who is considered inspired by Seventh-day Adventists, said that the Pope changed the Sabbath in about 321 AD. Why do all Adventists today reject their inspired prophet and say the change of the Sabbath occurred in about 140 AD? If White was wrong about this, was she wrong when she traveled to heaven and saw the 4th commandment glowing brighter than all the rest?
19. If the current position of the Seventh-day Adventist church is that the change from Saturday to Sunday took place in 140 AD, doesn't that mean that they have come a long way from Whites 325 AD and have only 40 more years to travel to reach the truth of the Apostolic age?
20. If the change from Saturday to Sunday happened, why is there absolutely no discussion of this change of actual day for the first 600 years of church history. Merely calling Sunday the Sabbath doesn't count!
21. If Sabbatarians reject White's inspiration, that Constantine change the Sabbath day to Sunday, why do they keep bringing Constantine up as proof? There is the historic side that adheres to the authorized KJV and acknowledges the Spirit of Prophesy as "sent of God", that's me... and there's the "ecumenical" side that cast the "Testimonies" into the trash heap, are now using false bibles, and has gone the way of the enemy; some have even turned away from the 7th-day Sabbath truth that Paul confirmed is still the rest to the people of God in Hebrews 4:1-11, and are now keeping the pope's day, sunday! I am also told there are some 500+/- active Sabbatarian denominations today and like the 35,000 sunday-keeping denominations, no two agree on every point of doctrine. Remember Paul rebuked the Galatians for reverting back to the ceremonial laws (Gal 3:1-15). Now "if" I sin, I go to the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, confess my sins and believe He forgives me. This testimony of mine is true...While I was reading The Great Controversy...It was about 12:30AM. ..An evil force was literally stopping me from reading the book. This amazed me...I realised. ..The book has something valuable to contribute ...As I went to bed, while still my eyes wide open, there stood an evil spirit as a human being right in front of me..not once ...but six times with quick intervals. First time, I shouted...Jesus....immediately my dad and others came running....not to give a false impression that I was under possession, I withstood him all the time. The next day, I devoured the book. I was asking the Lord continually as to the purpose of the anointment I was under while reading the book. ...what happened after two month since then is history. This history has been a pivotal turning point to my analytical study of the Bible. ...After 2 months since then, I was caught up in a weird situation under 25 so called junior pastors and two senior couple. If not for the book , I could not have fought a godly fight as Martin Luther did. The book was written by E. G White as a classic in my personal life. The references and the encouragement given in the book how to recognize false teachings and how to attack them in the name of Jesus is still a secret of my edification in Christ....I am an Indian...
The book does not have anything as such against the Scriptures...I learnt the live reformation work , and history cannot be refuted. The scriptural references are what I am talking about. I am also against John McCarthur's disbelief in the continuation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. But still, I enjoy reading the other indepth analyses of his exegesis. Misconceptions about hell? Do you honestly believe that after 30 trillion years the wicked are still screaming and writhing in agony for sins they committed here on earth between 30 and 50 years? Where's the justice and mercy in that? Also, it's Christ's breath or spirit that gives us life (Gen 2:7). In order for the damned to stay alive for the ceaseless ages agonizing, Jesus' spirit would have to be suffering along with them. How is that fair to Him who had no part in their decision to be rebellious in the first place?
The Bible says God will bring forth a fire from the midst of Satan, it shall devour him, turn him to ash and NEVER shall he be again (Ezekiel 28:18-19). Obadiah 15-16 says very much the same about his followers. Proverbs 8:36 says all that hate God love death, and Jesus confirms, "... he that believeth not the Son shall not see life..." (Jn 3:36).
God hates no one, the reason Satan was cast out of heaven is because he hates God and no one that hates God could ever stand in His presence and live. Our God is a consuming fire...

I love reading prophetic books. I read especially the commentaries produced after 1948. Before this period, even such a man as Martin Luther had no proper understanding of THE Book of Revelation.
Do not have E.G.WHITE as the source of your understanding the Word Of God. Rather, begin to read the Bible apart from her. You seem to be an ardent follower of E G White. Become a total follower of Christ. Be open to read books in a broader range without prejudice or preconceptions. It is very dangerous to depend on someone else's brain.

Then I read “Desire of Ages”, “Steps to Christ” “Ministry of Healing”, “Patriarchs and Prophets”, “Prophets and Kings”, “Counsels on Diets and Foods”, and all 9 volumes of the “Testimonies”, while comparing them with the authorized KJV, and I am convinced no other author I am aware of loved Jesus Christ as much as Ellen G. White… I was also surprised to find that a number of things the Spirit of Prophesy books reveal had already been revealed to me by the Holy Spirit; so when I read them in her books I was happy to see we are on the same page.
What really blew my mind, however, was the way she explains Hebrews. No other commentary even comes close to understanding that book and it is a vital book for these last days. While most Sunday keepers are still arguing whether Paul was the author or not, we have a thorough knowledge of what our High Priest is doing for us as we speak. Other churches haven’t got a clue and most just pass the whole book by with all its promises.

We are the remnant who proclaims the 3Angels Messages to a world in sorrow and darkness. The rest are carrying on in their crossless religion asking, “…what can Jesus do for me today!!”, while they “Rock” heaven down, dressed in their own wedding garments; as we alone are carrying on in the faith once delivered unto the saints. It has taken me years to find a church that encourages overcoming sin, as Jesus did, and then show from Scripture more than 3,500 promises His elect can claim every time satan bogs us down with temptations. This offends many, they want an unconditional path to all heaven’s glories. Never will you hear these truths preached from a Sunday pulpit; they’re all about “professing” Christ and it doesn’t matter what you do, you’re in the kingdom. I have never read this in the KJV and I’m saddened to think when many of those who lived life according to those false promises find they’ve been taken up in the second resurrection of the wicked, they’re going to wonder why they refused to give in to the pleadings of the Holy Spirit and perfect their characters while there was still time.
I have a Sunday-keeping friend who goes to bars to minister to “drunks” and she dresses like they do, and she drinks like they do and eats all the same bar food they do, and I have to ask if she’s reaching them or have they reached her? She believes that Sunday-keeping fable, ‘once saved always saved’, even though I remind her of Ananias and Sapphira, and she tells me not to worry, she’s already in the kingdom…

Why do all Adventists today reject their inspired prophet and say the change of the Sabbath occurred in about 140 AD? If White was wrong about this, was she wrong when she traveled to heaven and saw the 4th commandment glowing brighter than all the rest?
19. If the current position of the Seventh-day Adventist church is that the change from Saturday to Sunday took place in 140 AD, doesn't that mean that they have come a long way from Whites 325 AD and have only 40 more years to travel to reach the truth of the Apostolic age?
20. If the change from Saturday to Sunday happened, why is there absolutely no discussion of this change of actual day for the first 600 years of church history. Merely calling Sunday the Sabbath doesn't count!
21. If Sabbatarians reject White's inspiration, that Constantine change the Sabbath day to Sunday, why do they keep bringing Constantine up as proof? If Constantine changed the Sabbath to Sunday, why does here merely legislate that work must stop on Sunday with no actual mention of the day being moved?
Archangelatis Noah was told what meats were unclean. Jesus death did away with animal sacrifices. The Ten Commandments are the law of God. The law of ordinances aka animal sacrifices was the law of Moses. The laws of sacrifices is what was nailed to the cross. You need to read your Bible.

I'm a sinner seeking to be saved by God's grace. Now that the age of the internet has come about, I feel we will know more truth on past messages, and newer truth to come. Problem is, most won't seek and find. They are content to what was given to them in the past. And real Christians have open minds, not only to observe the fruits of others, but to seek out good fruit in the scripture, not on others writings.

The reason I became a Seventh-day Adventist is because of the Spirit of Prophesy. I can go to any church and hear the Bible misinterpreted, even in our churches this is the case with all the jesuit-perverted “bible versions" currently being used; only the SOP keeps us in focus. Yes it is the lesser light, however, like the moon, if it were taken away our category 5 tornadoes and hurricanes, our 9 and 10 magnitude earthquakes would quadruple, and like all the Sunday-keeping churches, we would be on a collision course with the sun...
Be very careful not to misrepresent the writings of Ellen G. White, these are the "Testimony of Jesus" (Rev 19:10; Jn 14:29), Ellen was simply His secretary. She is not our “Mary”, we don’t worship her as the catholics falsely worship the mother of Christ and their other “saints” and statues (Is 42:8), but she is a prophet nonetheless and I have yet to see one instance where her writings contradict the authorized KJV.
Those who fall under the heading “minor prophets” in the Word, did not bear a less important testimony. God bless…

A challenge here. Ellen White never tested the spirit of her guiding angel as we are commanded to do. 1John 4:1 "My dear friends, do not believe all who claim to have the Spirit, but test them to find out if the spirit they have comes from God. For many false prophets have gone out everywhere."

Daniel 8:13-14 is foundational for our Seventh Day Adventist movement therefore it is important to consider if there is more fitting interpretation of this prophecy, more fitting for this present time, progressive present truth interpretation.
There are two words that identify the subject of this prophecy, the words are “taw-meed” H8548, and “ko’-desh”H6944, both words identify the same subject. From Strong’s for “taw-meed” we have: “continuance (as indefinite extension); perpetual”, and for “ko’-desh”: “hallowed (thing), holiness,”.
Based on these identifying words the subject of this prophecy has the characteristics of holiness and of perpetual continuance.
This can not be daily sacrifice in the Sanctuary, sacrifices and Sanctuary are not perpetual, do not have “indefinite extension”.
What is holy and perpetual with infinite extension? It is the 7th day Shabbat.
Using same method as in Dan ch 5 to decipher the writing on the wall, we can interpret Dan 8:13-14 as follows: “2300 evenings and mornings and the perpetual holy Shabbat will be restored to the Sanctuary the Christian Church” this interpretation of "ko-desh" as Shabbat is derived from the Hebrew root word for "ko’-desh found in Genesis 2:3.
Daily sacrifices and Sanctuary are not perpetual, Jesus was the final sacrifice once and for all, and there will be no Temple in the New Jerusalem, only Jesus the Messiah and His Shabbat have infinite perpetual extension.
Facts on the ground after the disappointment in 1844 confirm this interpretation, fulfillment of Daniel 8:13-14 is raising up of the Seventh Day Adventist movement with the primary mission to restore the Biblical Decalogue in the multi-denominational Christian Church.
Regarding Day of Atonement typology, the words in Lev 16:5 are “two hairy”, that is two “saw-eer” H8163, first use of this word is in Gen 27:11 for Esau, Jacob becomes the second “saw-eer” in order to receive the blessing from Isaac, and then becomes “saw-eer azazel” when escaping to Laban. Primary typology for Lev 16:5 is Esau, Jacob, the ram is Isaac, secondary typology is Christians, Jews, Jesus.
Day of Atonement is triune sacrifice, on Golgotha we have three crosses, Jesus and two sinners, one representing Christians and the other representing the Jewish nation. Ellen White in her “Unusual Statement on the scapegoat” confirms this.
Day of Atonement is also the Day of Reconciliation, reconciliation within the Biblical family of Jesus, the Jews, and the Christian Church.

True churches don't change Sabbath to Sunday, especially when the Scriptures warn the BEAST (Rome) would think to change the times and laws of God (Dan 7:23-25). Then to have Jesus Christ declare Himself Lord of the Sabbath and before He went to the cross clearly state that He came NOT to change the law or the prophets, but to fulfill, what excuse do you have?? Paul warns in 2Thess 2:7-12 that all who do not love the truth (Jesus is the way, the truth and the life), God will send them strong delusion and they will believe the lie to their own destruction. Jesus says, "If ye love me, KEEP my commandments" (Jn 14:15)... He doesn't say break or change them, He clearly says KEEP them. Sounds like your church has done far more changing the Word of God than Ellen White...
There is much in Adventist Church that is not in the Bible. Examples are:
1. Investigative judgment,
2. 1844 supposedly movement of Jesus from holy place to the holy of holies in heaven,
3. Sabbath as a seal of God's people,
4. Rejection of those who never embraced the 1844 message of Christ's advent,
The gift of prophecy in the Adventist church is considered fulfilled in E.G. White alone. No other prophet!

Is your church being divided on the same issue that started the Great Controversy in heaven? "Is the Son of God a created being like lucifer and therefore is lucifer/satan now worthy of the worship that only the Godhead is due?" If you read the first chapter of "Patriarchs and Prophets" (Why Was Sin Permitted) you should have your answer. The "un-created" Son of God, who is one with the Father, spoke everything into existence, out of nothing, with His own breath (Heb 11:3); this is what makes Him the Creator. The Bible says that God is worthy of worship because He created all things for His own pleasure (Rv 4:11). The devil can't create, he can't even procreate... In Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14 we read the reason satan was cast out of heaven is because he declared himself equal to the Son of God. Since he was not able to raise himself up to the level of creator, the only way he could accomplish this was to somehow attempt to bring the son of God down to "created-being" status and then the whole universe would see that they are equal, which is a lie.
Tread lightly on this subject...1/3 of the angels lost their eternal estate because of the trickery in satan's boast.

@Charisma 101 Actually, she copied nothing from Joseph Smith and that's a fact. I've dealt with this Smith-White thing for over 20 years. The threat of coming out with a book to expose it all, which never seems to materialize is proof enough that it pie in the sky. I received a package of Raw data from J Mark Martin's ministry, maybe from the man himself trying to show the Smith-White connection. The only thing the data shows is that they both used the King James Bible. And would Bill Johnsson recant? His data is from the Veltman report and I believe the figure is higher than 19%. A good amount she got from Adventsit pioneers J. N. Andrews and Uriah Smith. Ellen never "self proclaimed" herself a prophet. In fact, she did not prefer the term prophet. Rather she prefered the title, Messenger of the Lord, for her work entailed much more than that of a prophet and regarding how many of her day claimed to be prophets (like Josesph Smith) bringing great shame to the prophectic office, she would rather distance herself from such self-serving titles. As for her gift, she herself tells us she was not cannonical and did not have cannonical authority but that Scripture was higher and it was all we needed. See Word to the Little Flock (1849) page 13 and the introduction to the 1911 edition of the Great Controversy, one of the few Introductions she wrote herself. These statements stand as bookends of her ministry which covered over 70 years.

This was a product of their time and generation. Nor did EGW state anywhere that Jesus would come back in 1868. Our message is a hard one for the world to bear, we are to be a peculiar people zealous of good works and most don’t like the loneliness that accompanies that. SOP says the health message is a message of love and if the one practicing it doesn’t have the love of God they have mistaken their call and should come out of it. There is to be no extremism in Adventism, clearly you have met those who have mistaken their call. When I first joined the church this was my experience as well, however, I wasn’t about to miss out on the benefits, so I chose to love them from afar. God is love, we are to be too.
I had a discussion with a young girl in one of the churches I attend, she was born SDA, I was born catholic. She told me she was thankful her mother raised her vegan, it sure kept her from catching colds and flues the other kids at school were getting and passing along, but then one day she woke up after reading “Desire of Ages” and it lead her to the conclusion that our health message and dress code were legalistic; God’s love is what she’s going to focus on now. She also told me she would appreciate it if when I go through the lunch line I wouldn’t ask what is vegan and what isn’t because she feels it makes those who have prepared the meals uncomfortable, as if their effort was not good enough for me (no one ever brought this to my attention before, usually people will come up to me and tell me they brought a vegan dish and would like my opinion). I informed her I am lactose-intolerant and I will not eat any dairy or cheese, health message or not; she had no reply.
Then I asked her if she believed the Commandments were legalism or are they the law of love? She didn’t know… I told her the seventh Commandment says, “Thou shalt not commit adultery” (Ex 20:14), it goes no further. If I want a full explanation I have to go to the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus says, “…That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart” (Mt 5:28). My question to her was, if a man struggling with porn addiction comes to our church to find truth and instead is bombarded with women who are dressed to show off their cleavage and buttocks, are they showing love for their brother? Paul says: “But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; and through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? Although Paul mentioned things offered to idols, the point I get from this passage is that the salvation of my brother should be more important to me than my desire to taste and enjoy. Putting others before ourselves is the lesson of Christ and it is our sworn duty, but most don’t get that, they are too consumed with restrictions and, “…what now, LORD???” I don't claim the intelligence to argue with God and He has given me discernment. Jesus says, “Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!” (Mt 18:7)…
Christ gave all for us and requires that we be willing to deny self and all that satan offers, pick up our cross and follow Him daily, out of love, not because I have to in order to get to heaven; because Jesus said, “if ye love me, keep my commandments” (Jn 14:15); what better reason? He could have said: keep my commandments or you’re going straight to hell, which we can’t argue, if you break one you’ve broken them all (Jas 2:8-12; Rv 22:14-15), but Jesus words it in a way that love becomes the motive, and not fear. Yes, His words have been taken out of context, especially in the lesser Jesuit bibles... as have many SOP passages. I have to argue with some folks who have clearly misquoted or put the cart before the horse in many of Ellen White’s writings. Some who have compiled her warnings have done far more harm than good, especially if they are not sanctified in the truth.
The “primary” reason SDAs are to refrain from flesh-eating is because in the Sanctuary the high priest ate the sacrifice in the Holy Place, but once he entered the Most Holy, he no longer ate flesh. Since 1844, our High Priest, Jesus Christ entered into the veil and we are the ones who “follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth” (Rev 14:4). By refraining from meat-eating, we are committing ourselves to Him in this way. The benefits of the health message are to be the “second” consideration, and especially today with all the damage science has done to our livestock. I’m sure you’ve heard that eating flesh strengthens our lower/base passions and many who do are not able to control their anger or their desires, sexual or otherwise, and like the drunkard are completely oblivious to this fact. I know it’s true for me, I have seen the transformation in my own life and I won’t go back there again.
Though I would never refer to her as ‘Mother’ Ellen, she did speak from a mother’s heart of concern. She envisioned things in her day we are now seeing and it disturbed her when she saw the indifference of this generation. May 14, 2020 is the day pope Francis will meet with all religious leaders around the globe and his “Paris Agreement” (climate change agenda) will be first priority; point 237 is the Sunday law and a subtle demand to accept their eucharist. The students skipping school on Fridays under the leadership of Greta Thunberg say they will continue until every nation is in league with the demands of Laudato si. If the Jesuits get their way, America, who now owes someone $23 trillion, will become a third-world catholic nation and all our liberties, which many already take for granted will be abolished. Not to fear, as God says, there is no fear in love (1Jn 4:18), I am in His care and I know that to obey is better than sacrifice. The health message will also prepare me for a day when flesh meats, dairy and cheeses will not be readily available to us as we will be on the “move” and not have time to shop at the grocery to pick up dinner. I eat a lot of things in nature and SOP encourages the use of herbs for healthcare.
If nothing else my experience as a Seventh-day Adventist has brought me to the conclusion that Heaven is cheap enough, because this life with all its pain and suffering is not even a twinkle in the eye of eternity. So why would so many willingly forfeit eternal bliss with the Creator of the cosmos traveling from planet to planet, star to star and galaxy to galaxy in a universe free from darkness or anything that even resembles our cursed world, for a moment of fleeting happiness here? I believe that if all would pray for the heart of Jesus, the veil would be lifted and they would begin to see the truth; many for the first time. I also know that satan will take you as high as you let him, because the higher you allow the devil to take you the more pieces you will break into when he smashes you to the ground! He is not your friend, this fallen angel will do, say or give you anything in his power to see you curse God and die. If we want God’s blessing, we must do it God’s way.
And, I firmly believe that all who make it to Heaven will spend every moment with Jesus Christ for the rest of eternity; to prepare for this I want to spend every moment with Him now. God bless you, John, and I pray you will find your way to the heart of Christ, by whichever path suits…

...The door of salvation had closed on all who left the 1844 movement. At that time there were more than 50,000 people waiting for Christ's return, and when He didn't only 50 remained to carry on the task. These were the true believers who came to the conclusion that they had erred and then went back to the Scriptures to study and find out where they miscalculated. It wasn't the date they got wrong, it was the event.
Those who left were there for the prize only, they had never been truly converted, and this "great disappointment" was enough to shake them out of the faith and back into the world where they would stay. Christ cannot use folks like this, those who come only for the bread that perishes, and so their probation closed on that day.
This will be the fate of all who put their hand to the plow and then turn back (Lk 9:62). We are in this to stay...come what may, and anyone who rejects the light God so graciously shares with them becomes equally filled with darkness. I pray you do not allow this to happen to you... Silly Goose!!

First off the plagiarism laws weren't established until the 1980's, Ellen White died in 1915, so no, legally she is not guilty of "plagiarism". Biblically speaking everyone from Joshua to Paul, including Jesus Himself, quoted someone else's words and not everyone gave credit to the writer. Isaiah is said to be the most quoted OT prophet in the NT. Of course the Bible is all the Word of God, so no one looks at it as plagiarism...
However, since God created everything, He owns everything; every word uttered and unuttered from the foundation of the world, including your thoughts and mine, are His by right and He reveals His truths to anyone who will hear them. If that person then chooses to use God's sacred truths to lure you into their lies, as the false prophets do, God may choose to exercise His right to send His true prophet to their books, gather up His words of truth, that they ultimately stole, and then use them for their intended purpose, while not giving credit to the "thief" so others won't be deceived by their debased works. Unless they confess, repent, renounce and rebuke the evil they allowed to stand between them and God, they will be held accountable for every soul lost due to their sinful neglect.
Part of Ellen White's commission was to gather up these precious pearls and use them for God's glory, as she never glorified herself, and she was instructed only to give credit to those who God told her to. Liars will not be recognized by God as His disciples, though they may have spoken some truth. This is God's way of setting the record straight. Ellen White passed every test of a true prophet.
Being born and raised in the abominable catholic church, I heard some truth, but in the final analysis everything I was taught led me to the sunday and so those responsible will be annihilated, except they repent.
Consider the times and you will understand not every generation has had the same light we have available to us. Also note that the more we have the more we are held accountable for (Lk 12:48). Because of the 1260 years of "Dark Ages" (538-1798) where the papal armies marched across Europe burning Bibles and killing anyone they knew who had one, there was much ignorance to the Scriptures and like today, most of the people lived in gross darkness (Is 60:2). As in Paul's day, the people of the "Great Disappointment" were awaiting the Second Coming and making plans. Did Paul instruct us to discourage them by telling them they were not filled with the Holy Spirit or did he try to explain things more clearly? Remember, in William Miller's time there was such a dearth of Bible knowledge because of the damage caused by the papal church, that revivals were springing up everywhere. God was leading His people to His Word and some were diving in head-first. It's the nature of many to go above and beyond and this is why prayer and fasting is to accompany our study of God's Word.
Every true Christian is eagerly awaiting the Master's return and some jump the gun. Yes, this is wrong as it causes more harm than good, but Sanctification is a life-long process. No one finds Jesus and is immediately filled with all wisdom and knowledge. Paul says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2Tm 2:15)... in other words it takes more than one read through the Book. I have been a Bible student for more than 30 years and I still have eons to go in understanding the Word fully. I do know enough not to be deceived by the false prophet and accept their false day of pagan "sun" worship (the pope's day); but I didn't always. For this reason I must be careful not to discourage others who are still on the fence. We are a church divided and constantly under attack and satan easily sends in his clowns to bully people away from the truth. Most of the other churches have already given in to satan's day of rest and he rewards them with a feeling of "celebration" that is truly deceptive. As long as you are steeped in the Word of God you can not be moved, so don't worry, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (2Tm 1:7)...
Those who jump the gun in setting a date for Christ's return are simply new in the faith, even if they've been in it for decades. Some people study only one aspect of the Scriptures and leave the rest untouched; in this they are unbalanced and become dangerous. We are warned there is to be no extremism in Adventism.
If Family Radio's Harold Camping, who falsely predicted the Second Coming on May 21st and then again on Oct 21, 2011 would have studied the character of Christ first, which we all must have in order to be resurrected or translated, he would have known better to encourage all to overcome sin first, and second to prophesy Christ's return.
I would tune in to his program on occasion to hear his uncompassionate replies to those who were starving for truth and it would make me cry. He also refused to take calls from SDAs who would have warned him of the danger of date setting. Know that the SDA church has never set a date for the return of Christ, although some within the denomination may have.
