Co-founder of the Seventh Adventist Church, she travelled across the globe, living all over the United States of America, in Australia and spent time in Europe, too. She is the most translated American author and the third most translated author of all time. She lived a full life with her legacy long continued after her death, still recognised today. She has inspired education, health work, publishing, and missions all over the world.

🙏Amen🙏 I was raised Catholic and hadn't studied Bible but alway loved church and in fact tried many different ones but knew nothing of Seven Day Adventist But last August my son in law died unexpectedly and sadly we had lost touch with his side of family this brought us back together at this small SDA Church and from moment we pulled into drive way I knew there was something special about it and after memorial service we were invited to come to service on next Sabbath which we found out was Saturday so we did and not only got to be reunited with our grandson but we fell in love with the message and the people and they gave us steps to Christ and the great controversy 2 read and since have we became faithful regular members and just recently got baptized with our grandson 🙏🌷🙏 Love learning about God through writing of this amazing Woman of God 🙏 Ellen G White

SDAs can and do cause significant emotional damage and mental distress, based on all the fear-mongering, threats of not being perfect, without spot or blemish. Ellen Gould Harmon White was a brain-damaged, near illiterate, plagiarizing, hypocritical, narcissist. Whatever she wrote, you best better do it. Legalistic, made an idol of a day on a calendar. Mrs. White was one of the greatest persons in the history of mankind. Her writings will stand and her voice will sound till the end of time despite the attacks of all the united powers of darkness. She was a true prophetess and a humble servant of God. Her five book series «Conflict of the ages», «Education», «Steps to Christ» and «Ministry of healing» and many others are treasures of truth about Christ and His teaching. Her writings led millions to the Bible, the Word of God.

I was catholic my whole life then someone gave me an Ellen White book, that book called (Steps to Christ) pointed me to the Bible, my whole life I was catholic and never read a bible, I am now a proud Seventh Day Adventist ! Sola scriptura 🙏🏼✝️

I am recently getting to know her past work. However, for what I have gather so far, there have been heavy plagiarism. No mean of disrespect, as I am continuing my education journey.

Have you read all her writings, especially her false propheciesÉ.
"I have seen that the 1843 chart (William Miller's) was directed by the hand of the Lord and that it should not be altered that the figures were as he wanted them." (Early Writings, p.64, edition 1882). ( The chart mentioned predicted the end of the world in 1843 ).
Ellen White loses the vision : "In our frequent change of location in the earlier history of the publishing work, and I have crossed the plains no less than 17 times, I lost all trace of the first published works . And here I pause to state that any of our people having in their possession a copy of any or all of my first views, as published prior to 1851, will do me a great favor if they will send them to me without delay." (Selected Messages, Book 1, p.60).
*E.G. White prophesied the world would end in 1843, 1844, 1845 and 1851* : "Now time is almost finished, (1851) and what we have been 6 years in learning they will have to learn in months." (Early Writings, p.57).
*"I saw the state of the different churches since the second angel proclaimed their fall (in 1844). hey have been growing more and more corrupt.* Satan has taken full possession of the churches as a body. Their professions, their prayers and their exhortations are an abomination in the sight of GOD." (Spiritual Gifts, Vol 1, p.189).
*White blames her failed prophecy on the members of the Seventh-day Adventist church:* "Thus the work was hindered, and the world was left in darkness. Had the whole Adventist body united upon the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, how widely different would have been our history." (Selected Messages, Book 1, p.299).
Concerning some of her revelations: "In one of her visions her accompanying angels told her that the time of salvation for all sinners ended in 1844 . She now claims the door of mercy is still open. In another vision she discovered that women should wear short dresses with pants and she and her sister followers dressed this way for eight years. But the ridiculous custom has now been abandoned." (Biederwolf, Seventh-Day Adventism, p.81).
She also affirms that her visits to heaven were easily made: After having left there during one of her visits an angel "handed me a green cord coiled up closely. This he directed me to place next to my heart, and when I wished to see Jesus, take from my bosom and stretch it to the utmost. He cautioned me not to let it remain coiled for any length of time lest it should become knotted and difficult to straighten."
"I was shown the company present at the Conference. Said the angel: Some food for worms, some subject to the last plagues, some will be alive and remain upon the earth to be translated at the coming of Jesus ." (Vol.1, p.131).
NOTE: This statement was made in 1856 and every one present in that meeting is now dead . Obviously, this was a false prophecy. Some SDA's, in trying to extricate themselves from the dilemma of this false statement, have argued that had God's people been faithful the Lord would have come long ago. But this excuse will not hold water, because God knew ahead of time what would happen. And Mrs. White made no conditions for the fulfillment of her prophecy. Her statement is plain and to the point.
"Thousands have been induced to enlist with the understanding that this war to exterminate slavery, but now that they are fixed, they find that they have been deceived, that the object of this war is not to abolish slavery, but to preserve it ." (Vol.1, pp.254,258).
NOTE: We know now that the Civil War in the USA did indeed abolish slavery. Mrs. White was wrong .
"Soon we heard the voice of God like many waters which gave us the day and hour of Jesus coming. When God spoke the time, He poured upon us the Holy Spirit." (Vol.1, p.59).
It’s called “cognizant dissonance” - the inability to reasonably assimilate facts objectively, when one has a strong predisposition toward a preconceived position.
The major failing of EGW is actually her blasphemous assertion that Jesus’ death on the cross provided no atonement for sins, but rather one must present proof that they “deserve” to enter heaven during the “Investigative Judgement” - a non biblical addition to the Holy Scriptures. The Apostle Paul, in Galatians 1, called this “another gospel”, which is accursed.
This is the Bible, sola scriptura, in reality.
I can only imagine the light on her face once she wakes up and sees the savior. Soon, very soon.

------Jesus NEVER said anywhere in the New Testament that Christians are to keep the 7th day Sabbath that was given to the Israelites by God of the OT. Moreover: That Bible doesn't teach that everything Christianity must be written in the Bible or it's NOT from God. You're ADDING "Sola Scriptura" into Scriptures that doesn't say.

@Charisma 101 Stop saying what you don't know. The Seventh-day Adventist Church's Biggest Safe on the entire planet is in Brazil, not the USA - although the USA is the headquarters. This is purposeful. In the safe there is no money but original writings by Ellen G. White. So these specific original writings were brought to Brazil. The safe is located at the Adventist University of São Paulo (UNASP), but I will not say here in which of the units. Cameras are prohibited from filming and photographing the location. Not even reports can be made.
The Safe is a kind of Bunker. The protector of the Vault is massive and the size of a human being is several times.
Ellen G. White's writings show all attempts by people of all kinds of "Societies" trying to infiltrate the Seventh-day Adventist Church and GOD using Ellen G. White to expel these people from the Church if these people did not abandon "Societies" ".
Joseph Smith was forced by Ellen G. White to leave the "Society" otherwise he would have to be expelled from the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Ellen G. White received from the Holy Spirit of God as Joseph Smith and the people of his "Society" did to greet each other ... they made a sign with their hand. Ellen G. White made the sign with her hand, so it left Joseph Smith surprised and fearful to see that GOD was actually using Ellen G. White to alert him (to alert Joseph Smith that he should in fact never be part of " Societies "because people who participate in these" Societies "will be lost if they remain in those" Societies ").
It was impossible for Ellen G. White to know this sign because even if it focuses on Freemason (which is impossible because women have always been banned in Freemasonry), she would never know the sign that only 33rd degree Freemasons know, and no other Freemason bottom would know that sign.
So how could Ellen G. White know the sign and use it as proof that GOD had told her everything and that her warning came from GOD?
It was impossible for any woman to be a Freemason, and even more impossible for a woman to be 33rd degree. Not even men of 32nd degree knew this sign!
It wasn't even the year 1900, there was no internet, in short, it was GOD who used Ellen G. White.

She preached to men many times alone and should not have. She is on the other side third heaven now & no longer has a need to reincarnate back to God's seed planet. So died a miserable very painful death even thou she healed others God said to her: Physician heal thyself which she could not. Meeting God the Father was the greatest experience in my life, Rev. says when your pure in heart, you shall see God. I thought it meant to be "pure in heart always" nope. Each moment I can vibrate the right energy of acceptance of Spirit just Spirit you become pure in that moment and then you shall see God.

There is no criticism that I have seen against Ellen White that I have not seen against the Bible itself. Those who criticize Ellen White for being a false prophet use the same arguments of those who claim that the Bible is not an inspired book.
Another common argument is the claim that we have Jesus and the Bible so we don't need Ellen White. This is the same argument made against Jesus by the Scribe and Pharisees saying that they have Moses so don't need Jesus.
Amen. Many died in the truth, the Lord Jesus and they will be in His presence when He returns. Everyone has to think about their own salvation and relationship with our Lord and savior Jesus instead of criticizing those who are already secure in Him.

DEFENDING SABBATH KEEPING AT ALL COSTS?
Unfortunately, the 7th day Adventists are NOT a true or remnant church. Someone on Facebook commented about an article saying, "Wow! Nothing but the truth! Well said. Adventists will not accept this because they're already deceived by a dead false prophet." This testimony is true because of the false doctrines. Satan is waging war on the true believers, but unfortunately already has the Adventists deceived by following Ellen White. The ones who haven't left Adventism evidently see nothing wrong with her heretical doctrines even though Jesus NEVER mentions them in the New Testament. Adventists have their own set of beliefs mixed with Christianity that unfortunately deceives unsuspecting folks.
They self-righteously accuse non-adventists of breaking the commandments because they don't keep the sabbath day. They don't seem to understand that believers are under grace, not law, but not without law. Of course we keep the moral law contained in the COMMANDMENTS OF CHRIST which are the commandments of God.
It is disturbing to see people congratulating themselves for keeping the sabbath day. Instead of the humility of Christ, we see the pride and arrogance of pharisees. The Lord Jesus Christ and the salvation he purchased should be lifted up instead of the sabbath day that that He NEVER COMMANDED or imposed on his followers. It is an abrogated Hebrew ritual law that pointed to Christ and has nothing to do with the gospel or the gentiles. But Adventists stubbornly want to believe that the apostles were keeping the sabbath day even though sabbath keepers murdered Stephen in Acts chapter 7, and stoned Paul in Acts chapter 14. Adventists wrest the scriptures to try and prove sabbath keeping, evidently to protect their popess Ellen White's contentions about having to keep the sabbath day.
Some Adventists refer to Matthew 24:20 to try and prove sabbath keeping. Jesus warned of the siege that would come upon the Holy Land, culminating in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
Sabbath keepers, the Christ-rejecting Jews, who had sabbath day travel restrictions and opposed Christianity, could make fleeing Jerusalem and the surrounding region problematic for Christ's followers should they try to travel or flee on the sabbath day.

Why a funeral on the sabbath? I've never known of an adventist funeral on the sabbath. Even Jesus was buried on the preparation day and rested on sabbath in sleep.

Here is all SDAs know on this subject, from the E.G. White Estate: "Why were the funerals on Sabbath? I honestly don't know. James White died on a Friday night, and his son W. C. White and his wife had to come from California. According to Virgil Robinson's biography of James White, after receiving a telegram from Dr. Kellogg about Elder White's death, "Willie and Mary immediately started on the long journey from Oakland to Battle Creek. In order to give them time to reach there, the funeral was delayed until the following Sabbath, August 13" (p. 299).
Another factor (in each case) may have been the number of people who wanted to attend. Even in 1881, Adventists were not well regarded by the population at large, and even in Battle Creek I believe relations were sometimes tense. The newspaper, for instance, seems to have been unfriendly on a number of occasions. Efforts to establish good relations with the community included the building of the Dime Tabernacle--a church that would seat over 3000 people, far more than the number of Adventists in Battle Creek in the 1870s. It was to be a building that the community could use for large gatherings, and various ones in the community contributed somewhat toward its construction. The commercial work week was not yet five days--it was Monday through Saturday. Adventists had to convince employers to allow them the Sabbath off. This is my speculation, now, but I am guessing that Sunday burials may not have been allowed, and the many Adventists who wanted to attend James White's funeral may have been reluctant to seek additional time off for a non-family funeral. Such factors may have made it seem advisable to hold the funeral on Sabbath. As it turned out, according to Virgil Robinson, many of the community people also came to James White's funeral, making it the largest ever held in Battle Creek up to that time.

Sabbath keeping is No. 4 of the Ten Commandments (listed in Exodus Chapter 20). There are other commandments besides these ten scattered throughout the Old & New Testaments. All commandments are important because they work together. Don't fall into the trap that one commandment is "more" important than a "lesser" commandment, that is a human perspective that Lucifer loves to manipulate. Instead realize that all of Divine Creator's commandments are important to Him, so they should be important to a believer in Him.

What does it mean that the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath?
In Mark 2:27 Jesus said, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” This statement was in response to the accusation that His disciples were breaking the law regarding resting on the Sabbath when they walked by some fields and plucked heads of grain (see Mark 2:23-28; also Matthew 12:1-8; Luke 6:1-5).
When the Pharisees accused Jesus’ disciples, Jesus referred them to an example from the Old Testament. David was once in need of food and was given consecrated bread that was, technically, only lawful for the priests to eat (1 Samuel 21:1-6). The holy bread had served a practical need of God’s anointed (David) and his followers, just as, in Jesus’ day, the grain served a practical need for God’s anointed (Jesus) and His followers.
David and his men had not acted sinfully in eating the showbread, and neither were Jesus’ disciples acting sinfully in picking heads of grain on the Sabbath. Jesus concludes, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:27-28). His response to the accusing Pharisees contains two important teachings.
First, the Sabbath was intended to help people, not burden them. In contrast with the grueling daily work as slaves in Egypt, the Israelites were commanded to take a full day of rest each week under the Mosaic Law. Pharisaical law had morphed the Sabbath into a burden, adding restrictions beyond what God’s law said. The act of picking a head of grain and munching on it as one walked along a field should not be considered “harvesting,” as the Pharisees tried to categorize it. The disciples had not broken God’s law; they had only violated the Pharisees’ strict interpretation of the law. Jesus reminded the Pharisees of the original intent of the Sabbath rest.
Jesus gives a similar reminder in Mark 3:1-6 (also Matthew 12:9-14; Luke 6:6-11) when He heals a man on the Sabbath. The Pharisees were looking to accuse Jesus and closely watched His response to a man with a shriveled hand. “Jesus asked them, ‘Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?’ But they remained silent” (Mark 3:4). The Sabbath was not intended to burden people but to ease their burden. For someone to forbid acts of mercy and goodness on God’s day of rest is contrary to all that is right. Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath, did what was right and healed the man, and that’s when the Pharisees began to plot with the Herodians to kill Jesus.
Second, Jesus is Lord even of the Sabbath. What does this mean? Another way to express the idea is to say Jesus is in charge of the Sabbath. He is God in human form, and He created the Sabbath day. As the One who wrote the law, Jesus certainly has oversight over how the law is to be enforced. The Pharisees had lifted their own rules to the level of God’s, placing onerous burdens on people, and they ended up rebuking the Lawgiver Himself.
Jesus is also the Lord of the Sabbath in that the Sabbath pointed to the rest Jesus provides. Jesus became our rest when He did all the work necessary for our salvation (Hebrews 4). He fulfilled the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 5:17). “Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes” (Romans 10:4). We rest, spiritually, in Him; He has secured our eternal blessing.
As believers, set free in Christ, we are not judged for not keeping the Sabbath day (Colossians 2:16). Instead, we follow the Lord Jesus Christ whom the sabbath foreshadowed. We find our rest in Him, and seven days a week are filled with worship of Him.

The Hebrew is also 2300 “evenings and mornings”, not days. The restoration of the temple ended up happening after Antiochus Epiphanes desecrated the temple and tried to bring war on Jerusalem, he was ruthless and thought of himself to literally be god
The little horn arises from ONE OF THEM… “them” meaning one of the 4 horns.
Adventists try and force that to mean a Roman Empire and to do that, they actually have to argue that “them” is referring to “winds”, not horns.

Anyway,
This king (antiochus) emerges from one of the fourfold divisions of the Greek Empire. “Out of one of them came forth a little horn…” (v. 9). Antiochus emerged from the Seleucid horn which was a division of the Greek Empire. Rome did NOT; it emerged on the Italian peninsula to the west of the Greek Empire.
The little horn would destroy the mighty and holy people. History reveals that tens of thousands perished as Antiochus attempted to force the Jews to deny their faith.
The little horn would take away the daily sacrifices (v. 11). Antiochus put a stop to the sacrifices for a period of over 3 years.
Antiochus “cast down” the place of God’s sanctuary (v. 11) when he shut down its daily ministry and set up the abomination that caused horror, i.e. the image of Zeus Olympias, and slaughtered a PIG on the altar of burnt offering in the most holy place!! The importance of the sanctuary service lay not so much in the building as in the daily sacrifices and offerings, and by taking these away Antiochus “brought low” (NIV) God’s dwelling place.
The little horn would take away the daily sacrifices (v. 11). Antiochus put a stop to the sacrifices for a period of almost 4 years.
Funny how 2300 evenings and mornings is about 1500 full days; which matches up exactly, 1500 divided by 365 is about 4 years
What’s even more interesting is the Maccabeans revolted against Antiochus and God helped them to overthrow them and put a stop to Antiochus’ plans.
The Maccabees entered Jerusalem in triumph after Antiochus had died. They ritually cleansed the Second Temple, reestablishing traditional Jewish worship there; 25 Kislev, the date of the cleansing in the Hebrew calendar, would later become the date when the festival of Hanukkah begins.
You can read about Hannukah in JOHN 10:22-23 also called Feast of dedication. Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s Porch.
Jesus did not enter the most holy place in 1844. He did that at his atonement when he sat down at the right hand of God, and gave us a new and living way through the inner curtain (that is, through his flesh Hebrews 10:20)
For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with hands, but into HEAVEN ITSELF so that he would appear in the presence of God for us
He made atonement ONCE for all time, through one sacrifice of himself, and this man, after offering one sacrifice for sins forever, stop down at the right hand of God. For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are sanctified Hebrews 10:14

Rodney Browne - They were very popular back in that day. Her family did not chose it. When her husband died years earlier, her son had a local pastor in Battle Creek pick something out for the family grave plots. They did not know all that we are aware of today back in the late 1800’s. The info we have now has come to light since 1915 - regarding what the obelisk represents. However, if one does NOT care about what is known today regarding the symbolism of the obelisk - then it means nothing, and therefore has no significance or power whatsoever. It only has evil connotations if you allow yourself to give this symbol any significance. If it has no meaning (good or bad) whatsoever to someone, then the connotations that the evildoers award it with - is thwarted.

I was a 4th generation Adventist, So I am very familiar with Adventist teachings, which slightly differs from one church to the next.
I lived and breathed it, that was all I knew.

I am a former SDA who left 51 years ago. I began questioning the beliefs at age 10 and left at 19. I married an SDA gospel singer who sexually abused me and whose father sexually molested both of my daughters, beginning at ages 3 and 4. I attended 14 years of SDA schools and read the Bible 3 times. I believe there are good people in the denomination but I had to leave because I simply felt that they were wrong about almost everything. I am not the kind of person who can fake it.

She believed Jesus could be considered God by virtue of the Father imputing His authority to Him, and that Christ (not just His humanity but His spirit) was brought forth or created by the Father.
