Honda Elevate Punch Amaze | Worst type of highway cars |

  • Tata punch is one of the most interesting vehicles from Tata and is one of the safest cars in the segment.
Tata punch offers excellent drivability with its 1.2 liters naturally aspirated engine with three cylinders. The talking point of the Tata is its fuel-efficiency the bs6 motor is smoother than ever and offers extremely good fuel efficiency which should work wonders for people who are using the car for a city commute.
Honda Amaze problems are what we are going to discuss today, Honda Amaze has been on the market for a long time so this time for me to give you a long term ownership experience with boat prose and cons every car has its own set of prose and concentrate I'm going to discuss the issues that you may face in the long term if you decide to buy Honda Amaze.
you get the same four-cylinder 1.2-liter petrol engine that you find on the Honda jazz as well. Honda Jazz has been in the market for a very long time and this engine will not disappoint you as it offers great performance at higher revs.
in terms of pricing, it is on par with the Maruti Swift dzire which also offers similar performance and features so if you are confused between the two watching this video will clear your doubts.
Honda Amaze was also recently launched with a new year model and new features like LED headlights and taillights and minor changes to the interior.
in terms of safety again Honda Amaze performs really well as it is a 4 star rated car in the encap crash test rating and makes it one of the safest under 4-meter car in its segment after the Tata tigor.
A 1.0-liter petrol turbocharged engine that generates 110 horsepower and 170 Newton-meters of torque powers the Fronx. A 1.2-liter petrol engine with naturally aspirated combustion powers the Baleno and generates 83 horsepower and 113 Newton-meters of torque.
The Fronx performs slightly better than the competition. Compared to the Baleno's 12.3 seconds, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in 10.5 seconds. The Baleno, however, uses less fuel. Compared to the Fronx's 20 kilometres per litre, it offers a fuel efficiency of 22 kilometres per litre.
    Price
The Fronx costs a bit more than the Baleno. The Fronx has a beginning price of 8.75 lakhs, compared to the Baleno's starting price of 7.99 lakhs.
Baleno has already shaken up the market with its features that are first in segment.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno was always known for offering a lot of value in the after market and the legendary Maruti suzuki after sales service which is even better at NEXA dealerships, so now you have more reasons to get the 2022 baleno over its rivals like the TATA Altroz and Hyundai I20.

Much appreciated review. You've walked a prospective buyer through a clear and informed analysis which is bound to be helpful. Now, given that many people live in big cities and like to drive to the hills for holidays and so on, could you please do a review along these lines with regard to choosing a car to drive in the hills that would also be satisfying to drive on a highway. Many thanks for the great work you are doing. Your channel is certainly a breath of fresh air.

In india a car is less about driving and more about the emotion, comfort and status. More importantly, indian roads even the good highways aren't safe for speeds more than 100, and 80 would be much safer. There can be stray animals, small villages and open intersections every 10 km or so, ignorant villagers who don't check incoming vehicles, ignorant drivers who don't check lane traffic etc. So most cars barring the budget hatchbacks and poorly built marutis are decent enough for 80 kmph cruising. Yes safety rating is extremely important.

Most of the people use cars for city purposes and occasional highway trips. The problem with sedans and especially that of the Verna model is its length. It's too long to maneuver and parking poses lots of inconvenience. I have seen people in our own apartment which has sufficient car parking spaces find it difficult to park and many are already preparing to sell these types of cars. Ultimately the car manufacturers will take all these issues in their drawing board and make cars. Sedan will never take off in a country like India which are densely populated with narrow roads and lanes and finally an indisciplined drivers out in large numbers on the roads.

Lol maneuvering is not at all an issue.. definitely not an issue of car inside building parking . I can accept that it cd be issue to park in a tight street , but that wd be for any 4+ meter cars .. so it seems like a driver issue not a car issue

Honda Elevate is excellent SUV in compact segment. Very Comfortable, Rugged, safety, body control, handling and good in almost every terrain. High speed stability is also very nice. Sedans not preferable due to road conditions. Xuv 700 definitely was a good choice but has many reliability issues, critical components failures, electrical and electronic issues. VW ..never ever going to buy it again because of super bad service, reliability, expensive parts.

    • @theindestructible.
      @theindestructible. 4 месяца назад +1

What do you exactly mean by VW seevice, reliability and expensive parts(what parts) can you elaborate it please?

    • @amansinha476
      @amansinha476 4 месяца назад +2

@@theindestructible. Example: VW service centres, no matter where you go, themselves are most of the time unable to understand and solve problems. You end up sending the car again to them, mostly up to 3 times back to back. This happened on multiple occasions throughout the ownership. Another example: they would spoil something else which you will note after a few days. These are very prevalent examples. The reason is that their cars are just too complex and very difficult to diagnose. Plus because of their cars being advertised as meant for adrenaline rush heat up too much and too quickly. Cooling system failures are very common in both diesel and petrol engines. All parts are way too expensive. It's not the engine core that fails. Everything else surrounding it will wear down sooner because of the complexities and that driving experience. Sensors if fail will cause power drop, pick up issues which are very common in VW. Check RUclips. In essence this isn't a peace of mind. But it is one's own choice. If turbo performance is needed, go for it. It won't disappoint.

The engine is punchier, braking is solid and has a great safety rating which you can actually feel from the heaviness of the metal used in this car. The stability at high speeds is also pretty decent and if you’re soft on the pedal the car will easily deliver a mileage of 20 and above on highways.

Good choice of topic. I have a question. The Honda City 2018 Petrol CVT (VX with 16" alloys) has a very - very hard suspension. It feels super uncomfortable on bad roads and even concrete roads. I have same model. Dont upsize tyre. Just keep to original size with Michelin XM series tyre. Tyre preassure of 31-30 PSI and continue top up normal air either every week or 300 kms whichever is early. It is most comfortable now. No loss of mileage.

@@nitinprabhu8624 personally i had very bad experience. And comfort wise i dont find goodyear tyre good in terms of comfort. You can keep tyre preasure 31-32. As you cant decrease further due to loss of mileage.
I changed 4 tyres of honda city. As Michelin xm2 series is discontinued due to import banned. Im shifted to 2 BlueEarth yokohama worth considering (never go with Earth1 that is stiff) & rear 2 Turanza Bridgestone very good for rear. (Ignore B250 & sturdo)
My Preferences for any type of car after Michelin is,
      BLUEEARTH GT OR RV02 Yokohama
      CC6 CONTINENTAL
      Bridgestone Turanza

I need more ground clearance. Altroz , hyundai I 20 doesn't offer it. Nexon diesel is more expensive. Below 11 with more ground clearance with features I have option of punch, fronx ,exter. Want to go with fronx but head touch issue on back seat and less features in 10 lakh. Exter front bumper is touching on bad roads. That's why can go only with Punch. Walks wagon not available in my area, maruti safety issue. Nissan parts are not available easily. Honda City again ground clearance. Elevate, Nexon expensive .

Innova Crysta is one the best highway cars and its construction is body-on-frame type. In fact, people prefer Crysta to the other cars for long highway journeys. And because of the vehicle's wieght and heavy-duty suspension, you don't feel any of the pot holes and other road imperfections while driving at high speed. Same goes with Fortuner too.
In a sedan you will be comfortable as long as the roads are good, but once they become wavy or potholed, they lose out big time.

Highway Cars - Less body roll Cars
SUV segment - Jeep Compass is i think better than XUV 700 for highway stability.
Sedan - Virtus, Slavia & Verna
Mid SUV - Taigun & Kushaq
    Hatchback - i20
    its my opinion.

What has brake efficiency got to do with body on chassis or monocoque? Braking distance depends on factors like tyre size, tyre inflation, tyre type ,brake disc/drum size , road conditions, laden weight, weight distribution, suspension condition, brake fade, ABS, traction control, EBD.

    • @AbhiSingh-pt3zi

Leaning angle and weight distribution is also a factor of braking and is dependent on chassis type

Exter is based on Grand i10 Nios. It's a tall car with boxy dimensions. Not too aerodynamic. It also has body roll issue because of its body type. If you need the ground clearance then go for Exter. Else you can go with i20 or even i10. I20 has better boot space.

Crash test rating ko log full n final na samajhe. High speed par material nhi balki engineering aapki Jaan bachati hai.
Jaise ande ko aap perpendicular force se nhi Tod payenge, waise hi plastic bhi aapko steal se jyada safety dega, agar design safe hai.
Maruti cars crash test me fail hoti hai, par ham jab passenger safety ko dekhate hai to most of the time kisi ko koi chot nhi hoti.

I think one major disadvantage of sedan car in INDIAn road is, Ground clearance-- Always touches uncovensional road Humps in City, Urban and Village roads. And some times off road to road height gap is more, then also same issue. This is one of the reason to choose SUV/CSUVs over Compact/sedan cars.

Bhai thik advise do.. No car will survive in accident situation in highways when impact isway above 60km per hr as used, in ncap tests.. Car koi sa bi lo but most important is keepsafe distance from heavily vehicle ahead and give way to any heavy vehicles behind you and never ever make the mistake of being immediately ahead of heavy vehicle, it can turn deadly if the heavy vehicle fails to apply brakes or u break suddenly for any unforeseen obstacles ahead of u.jitne bi highway pe accident hoti sab over speeding ke karan hota h

You are right, but Safety rating will be useful when you are driving in new highways and some random villager or cattle comes on the way.... These things are being more common no as highway sense is not developed in remote villages yet.

SUVs: Tata Harrier, Honda Elevate, Fortuner, Mahindra Scorpio, Nexon, GVitara are very solid sturdy & durable cars. Avoid KOREAN cars like Creta, Seltos, Venue, Carens are weak on highways. If you have enough money/patience for maintenance, then go with smooth german SUVs Skoda / Volkswagen or FrenchSUV Renault.
