Fun Fact: Elevate CVT revs below 2K even at 100 kmph.
Strengths of Elevate cannot be described in brochure:
1.5 ivtec -rev happy linear power with no lag
Top notch driving dynamics
Perfectly calibrated steering
Controlled body roll
In short, High on mechanics, low on features (Typical Japanese)
2:28 This one is revving around 2.5K on 90Kmph. So, this car will drink some extra fuel.
Only thing missing are the ventilated seats, which is a must.

Manual does 100 at 2700 rpm, which I feel is quite high, when it's own cvt does it around 2000 rpm.
What a suspension man! 2:10 ❤
danm right!
The best Honda Elevate video ever. Love the drone shots as well
Appreciate it!
amazing review sir Honda elevate is always considered underdog. You have proved in a very fair review that how good elevate is and why Honda is Honda who make no nonsense cars and concentrate on basics and not long features list like the Koreans do. Haven't seen such a wonderful review in a very fair perspective.
I had a budget of 20 lakhs rn I am way to confused which one to choose either Verna or elevate I don’t have a preference suv or sedan don’t know which one should I pick I haven’t got a test ride of elevate yet
I too owned a top end cvt in last september and clocked 7k.A company fitted 360 ° camera is problematic also the android car play.Any way drivability is un comparably superior to it's competitors.
Will the zx CVT give same performance in the hills ?
Would like to buy v cvt dropping.the 3xo ax5 AT.
Wise decision?? Please help me...confused.
Hope this car does not get discontinue and our dear indians will buy this for sure😢
Thank you so much ❤❤❤ for this wonderful view especially with manual version. Any plan to try with CVT ?
Good thing they fixed the AC, cuz Jazz and WRV had issues with that!
I just loved that Cheers with those Glass in the Hand. Great Work Guys, Good Job.
Thank you! Cheers!
@@91Wheels Hi I again jumped in to see this video, it's too good. Just a quick question, how much do you rate the braking of Elevate, it does do the job or do you feel 2 more discs should have been there?
How is the performance of AC in Delhi heat...my Taigun recorded 50.5°C near airport yesterday and failed miserably in keeping the cabin cool (of course, it was standing in open heat for 7 hrs and was moving in snarling traffic).
Hey, Bunny used the Elevate post the trip for a few days in NCR (Delhi - Gurgaon) and says the AC perf in peak noon was great, if not excellent. His father has a WRV - happy with AC.
Love the content! In the end, could you pls provide your verdict about the car?
Thanks Sandeep!
From a long-distance travel point of view, we were impressed with the Elevate. Some points may be a deal breaker-no diesel, no strong hybrid. Also, with a full load, you miss the punch of a turbo. That said, at this price point, the Elevate is a great package. Check their website for offers up to Rs 55k!
❤❤❤
Bunny bhai that was really awesome. I wish videos like this don't end!!
Thank you bro. Wonderful journey 😊😊
Glad you liked it
Talk about the ride quality and seating capacity
Sir on the way to the hatu peak, like just a few kilometes before at the narrow roads , do you even have a space for the on coming traffic? How did you manage ?
I also have a elevate but narrow roads am just nervous
The last 6km are narrow at 90% of the places. However, there are tiny little spots where you can squeeze in. The best thing is early morning - also keep windows open as on coming cars honk before a curve - so you know something is coming. Along the way, 10-12 spots with wide parkings available. Issue comes when multiple cars come from both the sides.
Today, I had my second Honda Elevate test drive of the top model, the CVT ZX. However, I must say that it doesn't feel like a true Honda product; it only bears the Honda name. On rough roads, there is excessive cabin noise, especially in the back.
The cabin is spacious enough and can be considered the best in its segment. However, the excessive noise is a major issue. The suspension needs significant improvement compared to market competitors like the Creta and Seltos, as well as accelerator noise while pressing the race pedal. I tried both slow and aggressive driving, but the result was the same. I'm not sure if the test drive model I used had specific issues, but I tried two test drives from different dealerships because the overwhelmingly positive reviews intrigued me.
I have to wonder why the Creta and Seltos have had such peak sales performance. While I need a family vehicle for the long term, I don't want to rely solely on a brand name.
I test drove the Hyryder, Seltos, Creta, Nexon, and Elevate, all in the petrol segment. However, I was disappointed by their price-to-performance ratio. This segment is particularly confusing for buyers in the 15 lakh price range.
In my experience, the Grand Vitara is cheap market garbage for such a premium segment of 15-20 lakhs.
I'm still confused about what to buy. If anyone has any good experiences with a good vehicle under 15 lakhs in May 2024, please let me know; it would be a great help.
Are Bhai Bhai.
I have been in the similar issue for the past month.
Almost booked Nexon.
Won't even consider Maruti.
Safety is important and I don't trust Maruti.
Looking only for Petrol automatic.
Right now I'm confused between
Elevate Top model
Creta S(O)
Seltos HTX
Seltos HTK
So so freaking confusing.
Same here
Fucking confused
My final thoughts:
Seltos and Creta -
I consider both as the same only.
Their is are just few minor differences here and there.
It's not a practical car when considering the lower price point (Below 20 lakhs)
Lots and lots of features in the starting end that you don't need lots of needable features in the higher segments.
I didn't feel comfortable driving the car.
My head was almost touching the room.
Elevate : I loved the ride quality and the engine. The transmition is excellent.
It's a tried and tested engine.
Road noise does exist but that's okay. It's an SUV it will have noise so does Seltos and Creta but relatively less.
Top end is worth considering.
@@akhandvlogs9728 ended up buying Elevate.
So much better than other turbo's burrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh !!! Turbos are good but people driving them are far less in number
The Elevate sales are very less though. I know it is the most practical Mid Size Suv there in the Indian Market but Honda should attract customers by giving some features. Otherwise this car will soon be gone from Indian Market like Ford Ecosport.
Much much better in performance & looks than kia & hyundai
Oh! I thought Bunny went to Ghazipur! 😅
That was a very poor joke. Bad taste
Good one😂😂
HahA
😂😂
Question - what would be the mileage with 4 people and their luggage in the car?
Hi Shikhar - on open roads, as you are mostly cruising, even with a load, mileage should be around 17kmpl at 90km/h
Hi, which variant you tested. Was it manual or Automatic?
CVT automatic
You seem to be a dog lover, sweet! Watched the entire video, great cinematography
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good day, Sir. I would like to inquire about the clutch and gear shift experience of the Elevate clutch. I have heard that the clutch is quite stiff, which may cause fatigue during extended driving. Kindly provide me with some clarification on this matter. Thank you for your attention to this inquiry.
Hello Bunny, i hope you have driven both the MT and CVT. I want to know which is more fun to drive for all types of terrain and quicker to overtake on highways? From sand to gravel to snow to mud to rock? From hills to beach?
I want to know that too....
MT any day. CVT is about convenience and easy of driving but if you want pleasure of driving, it has to be the MT. Love the short throws as well
@@91Wheels 2nd that 👍
Kindly do Ac test for cars greater than 180mm GC😅
Very excellent electrifying video with the proer review.I am very much satisfied the contents of the video.Regards.
BEST NATURALLY ASPIRATED ENGINE IN IT'S SEGMENT AND VALUE FOR MONEY AMONG ALL THE CARS WHICH COMES AT IT'S PRICE RANGE
whats the pointo f keeping the sunroof blind open on a hot day? I know they are testing it but in a hot country like India sunroof is impractical.
Hey, the blind was open as it makes the cabin airy and was done during taking the driving shots / talking to camera :-)
I have a CVT Jazz as well as manual City. The MT in city was excellent when going on low traffic roads in the ghats on incline or downhill. But the moment you have to do a reverse/correction up on an incline the MT got into lots of trouble leading to a fair degree of tyre burn as the car struggled in reverse gear. The CVT had no problems going up, standing still on hairpin inclines or even whilst reversing on nasty inclines. You have the S mode with Paddle shifters to take care of downhill travel. So overall I would rate the CVT ahead of manual atleast for the hill drives.
The S mode provides enough engine braking or did you have to step on the brakes a lot? (I have an Amaze CVT hence asking.)
Enough engine braking. I drive my jazz CVT in manual mode using paddle shifters in the hills. Gives a different feel man @@pawankumarkhatri
NVH in this car is very poor. Honda City me itna NVH nhi hai, meri 2013 Brio me itna NVH nhi hai. Agr apko ye car leni hai, toh make sure aap poori gaadi khulva kr damping krvao andar se saari. Seltos me baith kr alag hi feel ati hai. Ye 18L justify nhi krti. Iska top 16L se upr nhi hona chahiye tha, tab ye sense bnaati. Honda Indian customers ko serious nhi lete. HRV jaisi car inhone abhi tak launch nhi kri, wo krte toh Creta Seltos ki sales wo single car kha jaati. I am a Honda fan isi liye ye keh rha hu.
18 kmpl on highway 🔥🔥🔥👌👌👌👌👌
Will Love to see the Skoda kushaq
How would the “Elevate” automatic do in this terrain?
While part throttle response works well and you can chug along traffic, during outright acceleration to overtake traffic uphill, as it is the case with most CVTs, you may need to plan a second or two in advance.
Wouldn’t the planning part be sorted by the use of paddle shifters itself
@@Skyther619yes,my jazz CVT paddle shifters give a kick in the pants feel
Great video now the real Question is can elevate do this with 3 people in the back and 2 people in the front along with luggage without struggle
Definately it can
Excellent & superb review & drive to hills 👏 👌.
Plz could you test the elevate with full load of passengers & luggage to the hills in order to check the power capability of the elevate on uphills.
Thanking you 🙏
Cabin noise is so horrible.
Yes, none of them told us about that. It's pathetic for passengers in the cabin. Even small patches and potholes are considerably noticeable. 🤦♂️ #travelfail #frustratedpassenger
Without cruise control on Highway mileage?
I travelled to Manali recently. On highway I got 20 and overall to and fro I got 16.5
Honda is a good but service centre in Siliguri very bad
Just wow ❤ video and the destination was superb 🎉
Those drone shots elevated the Elevate review. ❤
Glad you like them!
Which model is this ? Is it 2024 ? Manual or automatic?
Great Car! Great Review! Always Honda!!
Great video 👍. Sir, is the CVT version also safe and good performance in such hills in general ?
CVT is way better than Manual for hill drives
Automatic are always better in hills

Hey, that is the one-way Kumarhatti - Solan road. Traffic is one way here and those coming from Solan to Kumarhatti take a different route all together. All safe here :-)
Five persons with full luggage only then u will suderstand the power।
It's still powerful enough. Honda's 1.5L i-VTEC is a different beast.

Wonderful video Bunny!
Have been wrestling forcquite some time between Creta NA IVT & Elevate CVT due to lack of features like TPMS, Cabin insulation etc.Hoping Honda would add some of these essential stuff soon!
I already drive a 2018 Creta petrol AT.....its a reliable car but its poor mileage is surely a concern besides safety!
Your views would surely be helpful in deciding?
I own elevate and only con is the cabin insulation. Otherwise its a beautiful car . Driving dynamics is top notch

We just wanted to enjoy the Elevate in cooler environs and thought of doing a video around it as well :-)
This car is perfect. The only negative thing is the lack of features which other cars form the same segment provides. Could you please share if the company is in the mood to install some of the features like complete futuristic dashboard, good material rather than hard plastic dashboard 360° view rather than 100° etc. panoramic sunroof is unnecessary in India so excluding that thing.

Lovely!!!
Bunny, which Car do you personally own from being a Family head ???
Hi Kuldeep
We have various cars in the family.
I : XL6
dad : diesel WRV
elder brother : diesel Ciaz
wife : Ignis
We also have a grand i10 petrol.
T2T approx 11.5 kpl as per my calculations hoping you didn't refill during your trip
I'm getting 19 on my cvt on high ways and average of 15-16
How's the comfort and supension setup over long journey ??
Will the mileage improve gradually ? Mine just done 1st service, before that it did 15 - 16 at 90 in highways
Should def increase. Even on way back, once we hit the open roads, while holding 90, displayed economy was over 17.
