hii thank u so much for the video, really enjoyed this !! just want to share another small observation which for me made kei mochizuki's illustration seem even more interesting. it's the hair and it's lightweightedness (?) it feels so airy and seems to be rendered in a bit more detail than the other parts of the drawing, like clothes. there's this effect of semi-transparency which can be noticed in how the glasses are kind of peeking through the hair on the right side of the drawing. the lines for hair also seem to be even more light than others and sometimes seem to be grey and not solid black. all in all, it's quite a minor thing but it creates this sort of naturally created focus in the drawing, the attention definitely being fixed to the girl's face. just felt like sharing the observation! thanks for the vid and hoping to see more from you in the future !!
i was also curious and after inspecting her latest drawing live stream in 2024 i think I figured it out, after shes done with coloring the hair she lowers the opacity of the layer underneath and on the same layer with the lowered opacity she repaints the hair which makes it look kind of transparent. you can see her do this on this live: ruclips.net/video/8VVcs9qiaSY/видео.html&ab_channel=望月けい at around 1:21:26 with the eyes. sorry if Im not too clear my English is not very good.

I was having trouble making my lineart stand out for a piece and watching this video of you dissecting how Kei Mochizuki does it was very helpful. Following the steps described here made my art stand out way more. Since you asked for requests, I am always mesmerized by the art of gyokai/_himehajime/onono imoko (they are the same guy, just different nicknames he's known as), the artist for Dohna Dohna and Rance. The way he uses saturated colors, black shadows, patterns in highlights and shadows, make for extremely crisp and appealing images. I always get my mind blown when I try to study it, I literally do not know how does he do it but he always makes it look good while when I use really saturated colors at my heart's content it looks like sh*t. A small breakdown of his art would be really helpful. Once again, thanks for the video, it was very helpful.
