Wooow. Conques looks like a place out of a myth or legend. Absolutely gorgeous footage. I sometimes have a hard time in the middle of watching your videos lately, because the music and the scenes you shoot are so moving, my eyes start welling up with tears and I can't see. LOL. Then I have to go back. :) It's fine, because I'll be watching them over and over anyways. Beautiful, Efren. Just beautiful.
So sweet. Didn't I tell you the Instagram pictures weren't even close to what I was capturing on video? So glad you like it. You are going to love this walk.
Efrén, we enjoyed your Camino Videos on the Via Podenensis up to Conques. Nice comments and many details. We made it in july 2021 up to Cahors and will continue to fix to gap to St. Jean Pied de Port soon. Today we retravelled our Camino Portogues from 2017. Your documentary style improved 😀. Your comments are awesome.
The priest playing the accordion is the same priest who does the interpretation of the amazing tympanum on the front of the church and plays "The House of the Rising Sun" at the end of late night mass.
Hearing him play "The House of the Rising Sun" was one of the highlights of this Camino for me... the entire atmosphere was magical, the organ music in the church was haunting and then to hear that song! Such a great stage on the Chemin du Puy.
Efrén, you're right Conques if a Magical French Village the castles and Churches there are breathtaking especially with your Drone footage. The whole experience is sublime and when you compliment your day with yesterdays left over wine, we would say in Hungarian - Egészségedre! Good food, good company and wine what could you ask for more? ¡Buen Camino y Salud!👣🍷😎
beautiful! Thx for the inspiration Efren; you know that I've been walking caminos in Spain (and Portugal) for 20 years, but I never walked in France (apart from SJPP) After watching your videos, I'd like to walk the Le-Puy-Camino, in June 2022, si Dios quiere. So I've got half a year left to study some French :-)
Great video! I love the French countryside and the smaller towns and villages. Remember Conques from 35 yrs ago when I biked through France from North to South. It seems still to be a great place.
Hi Efren! I loved Conques!!! So incredibly beautiful 🥰🥰🥰 But my favorite village was St-Cirq-Lapopie. A Canadian pilgrim did a video on the Podiensis and highly recommended the Célé Valley variant (GR651) after Figeac. I took it and it was spectacular 😍😍😍😍. St-Cirq-Lapopie is off the GR651. I highly highly recommend it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Your videos are bringing me so many memories that I’ve decided to do it again. Can’t wait for the next video. Thank you 🙏🏽
Thank you for this series; as usual, very well done. You have convinced me to add the Via Podiensis (Le Puy-en-Velay to Conques section) to my multi-Camino adventure planned for the summer months of 2022.
Oh yeah.... You are starting to see what is "Le Chemin de St Jacques" in France. Thank God you changed your mind about pilgrimage in France. And there is still a lot to see: not just all the "Caminos de Santiago" - Vezelay, Le Puy, Arles, Tour and Piemont Pirinnee.
Well you have me convinced that the Podiensis will be my next walk after I do the Primitivo in late May, which was also inspired by your videos. I am 71, but blessings have given me good health and healthy bones. Did the Camino Frances in 2019. A question. What program do you use to construct your daily map of the distance that you covered? I love the way it appears at the end of each video. Thank you in advance for sharing that information if you feel it is not infringing on your creativity. I am sure that my maps would be entirely different. I did download your maps for the Primitivo. Hope you have a great year of walking!! Really looking forward to your walk in Japan as it is also on my list.
Thank you so much. I'm so glad you are out there walking these great pilgrimages. I track my daily walk using thr samsung Health app and then I export the GPS to Relive which is the app that creates the animation.
Hi Efren! Absolutely love your work, I will be walking Le Puy around April time. I am having trouble finding info on the Gites, how do I find and book the Gites beforehand along the Le Puy Route?
Thqnk you so much Hollan. I used gronze.com (spanish) for the stages and gites. You can also use the miam miam dodo guidebook (french only) or you can download my gps tracks which I'm still working on.
Way past time for you to discover 'Lavalin' deodorant from Israel. Most health food stores or fancy grocery stores carry it. Waaay expensive at $17 a jar. But one jar lasts me over a year!! ZERO SMELL! You'll still sweat, but it really works. I've been using it for over 25 years.
Thanks!

Magnificent video. French Tourism board should be paying you for showing how Beautiful France is.

Oh my. I think I'd hang up my trail shoes & start looking for a house to rent right there on the spot! What an enchanting place!
The mysteriously misty shots were so wonderful. Your videos are always great, but this one was especially so. Thanks for enchanting us with this one!

Your drone footage of Conques at dusk is just stunning! It was such a pleasure to watch this video, thank you!
Its good, but Mini 2 has a bit too much ISO noise in my opinion.

Back after a hiatus..you’ve created a new genre of travel…adventure videos. Engaging on a whole other level.🙏👈

Achingly beautiful video. 💚
Love, Love, Love!😍
When I did the descent to Conques it had rained and the path was covered with wet leaves. I did most of it on my rear.
Thanks!
Fantástico vídeo!!
Wow again. Amazing. I know it's repetitive of me. But the views leave me speechless.
No worries Etienne. I felt I was in a fairy-tale the entire time I was there
BRAVO! Ultreia
thank you John

@@Walk_with_Efren thank you Efren! May your year be filled with adventure and blessings!
Everyone!! Like these videos and share on facebook! He needs to get out there. This is amazing! What a blessing.
Thank you!!!
That's an uphill battle. My main audience are males over 55. Not the most social media savvy or eager to share away. Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestion
did you have internet all the time when you walk? looks cool the Relive app 18:10-18:50
I had a French sim card on my phone and I had data almost everywhere. Yes the animation is from relive but I did those once I was back.
