Efrén, I can’t imagine you having a ‘tough’ day; your footage is so very relaxing together with the Drone footage of course and the fact that you’re taking us along with you! And although I’ve said it before I just love the way you use all your senses to experience the surrondings, sight of course, sound and especially ‘touch’; to really experience the surroundings! ¡Buen Camino y Salud! 👣🦉🤚🍷👍😎
Ahhhh! Memories 🥰 This is where I made a BIG mistake. I took a left at the top of the initial climb, just after the chapel where you pull the bell. I tried to avoid the next climb with the bad ankle. But what I found is that the left alternative took me on a loop back to the beginning of the initial climb. Yes! I had to climb it twice!!! 😝 But, live and learn. 🤗❤️ Thanks for another beautiful video!!!
This stage almost broke me...straight climb out of Conques, descending into Decazville, then up again. But that view over the valley first thing in the morning was worth it!
That climb looks rough! But wow, those views! It's a good thing you took a rest day before this stage. I can't imagine people starting from Conques, though. Those first 9 days are so gorgeous!!
It was rough but short. I think most people that start in Conques are walking the via in sections and have already walked from Le Puy. Those first 9 days were the best.
Great video. Must be good to carry a day pack (even if you have a lot of gear) when it is hot and the terrain is rough. Compared to some previous caminos.
3 questions and one inquiry Been watching your 750 km from le puy. Is it harder than the via francigena in Italy? I did the francigena from Lausanne to Rome…my fourth pilgrim😮 I’m interested in your water bottle ? Also your bagage transport… which company and I what cost? Have you heard about the Pieterpad in Netherlands and the Bretagne
Thank you Mark. What do you mean by trailing videos? Do you mean the floating Camera that follows me closely? If so, that's the insta360 one X2 amzn.to/3CRhRkz
@@Walk_with_Efren my husband and I just bought gossamer gear packs for the del Norte we will do in 2022. My husband has the Gorilla 50 and I have the 42. 😃
Nice tan, Efrén! Here we have a blizzard...I'm thinking about either Via Podensis or Via Francigena (the Italian part). Could you tell me some pro and cons with them? I've done the Frances a couple of times and last year I did the Norte (pure magic) :)
I don’t know if I will get to walk the Camino in my lifetime, so I really appreciate your videos! Question - how many drones have you lost or destroyed during your travels? Do any get stuck in trees etc?
@@Walk_with_Efren Yeah but not only that. I had the Spark, then Mavic 2 Pro Fly More. The Mavic 2 Pro for outdoors use barey got used due to size. Ended up with Mini2 Standard. Mostly due to USB-C charging. The connectivity for Mini2 is much better than Mavi 2 Pro. Mini 2 Its less noisy, and disturb less people too. Im too about to do el Camino and so I have now Mini2 and certification/insurance
Efren: a question for you. If I am using your GPS files in google earth (thank you for creating these, they are outstanding), can I track my progress in google earth at the same time? Thanks
Thanks!
You bet!
Your vlogs are the best mental preparation for my walk next April along the Le Puy Route.

for other pilgrims leaving from Conque, You can ask the monastery to pack a lunch for you. I did and there was a lot of food. I enjoy your videos.
, It’s great that you stay so upbeat!
There is no other way. The only way out is forward.

wow
What an interesting day. Great shots. Loved the countryside and the churches.
Fabulous. Fabulous. Such beautiful countryside. Thanks again Efren.

Darn, missed most of the live. Will be forced to watch the clog over and over again. Can’t wait!
Enjoying your vlogs. So well made .

Certainly the kingdom of Heaven so picturesque, thank you for sharing Efren alias Tony Montana.
You are very welcome
If you like the up and downs, you should come to Switzerland and do the Via Jacobi (Swiss Camino). 😉 The music is so epic on this video. Loved it. 😊
It's on my list. Thanks

thx, great video! lots of usefull information as well, muchas gracias 🥰

What gite did you stay in in Livinhac? Looked super! (Thanks for your huge inspiration!)
Thank you Mel. Check the vlog's description.
Efren, love your videos. Question, what equipment do you use to get your trailing videos? It doesn’t appear to be a drone, or is it? Thanks.

Hi Efren! We are so enjoying your videos. Can you please tell me what type of backpack you are using on this Camino?
I used a www.gossamergear.com Mariposa 60

Excellent choices. You are going to love the large pockets.
And I want to know what sunglasses you use. I like them much better than those snow goggles you used on the AT!
lol i love my Julbo Vermont glassier glasses.
I'm now back to polarized ray bans -> amzn.to/3BteL5L

The Italian sectio of the via francigena is 1000 km so it will take you a couple of weeks more. Either one you choose you are going to love.
I don’t know if I will get to walk the Camino in my lifetime, so I really appreciate your videos! Question - how many drones have you lost or destroyed during your travels? Do any get stuck in trees etc?
Thank you Sharry. I have not crashed any of my drones in the 5 years that I've been flying.
Well i ended up with the Mini 2 instead of the Air2S after all... Drone weight is a bit of a hassle to deal with..
Weight and regulations

Google earth doesn't track your walk but I use samsung health in the background.
@@Walk_with_Efren hi Efren, I meant can I use Google earth to track my location along with your tracks so I can see exactly where I am?
Oh yes of course
Thank you, and keep up the great work.
Thanks!
Thank you so much my friend. Your support will go a long way in helping this channel get off the ground. Buen camino.
