    Hey Efren, I have learned so much from your videos. Having done a number of long hikes I can appreciate you having a baggage transport service. I carried a pack way too heavy to walk with on the English Coast to Coast. 300km from the Irish Sea at St Bees, through the mountainous Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, to Robin Hood Bay at the North Sea. I ended up giving away about 1/3rd on my backpack gear to lighten my load. Towards the latter 1/3rd of my walk some kind accommodation managers offered to drop my main pack into my destination. It made such a difference and I enjoyed my walk so much more. I ended up paying a few times to transport my main pack from then on. I did it a few times also on my Camino Frances but the Coast to Coast was much more demanding, in my opinion. Having your change of clothing, etc, in your bag makes absolute sense. I will likely do similar on my next major hike. It would be worth the extra expense so I will budget for it. I also appreciate the fact that you have gone from a Pocket 2 to a smart phone as your main blogging camera. I was noticing the focus issues with the Pocket 2 and I knew that you were better than that so I understood to was a camera issue. Likewise I have purchased a Gimble for my smartphone and will use that with my drone and other gear for my next adventure. Thanks again Efren. Much appreciated!!

    Extra. A Figeac, tu peux prendre aussi la voie du Célé qui passe à la grotte de "Pêch Merle" jusqu'à Cahors où aussi la voie de Rocamadour. Merci à toi.

    Great find with the Rosetta Stone replica. And the interior of that church was dramatic and spectacular. Great night drone shots, too.

At the end of each segment, I look forward to seeing the route you took. All in all, the best travel vlog around! Wishing you a chocolate croissant, glass of wine, and sunny weather! 🥐🍷🌞

    excellent video, your camera skills are admirable! Rosetta Stone original is in London, British Museum, they sell a lot of merchandise connected to it. The British robbed a lot of historical stuff in their days...

      "Robbed" is harsh. Most stuff in our museums from Egypt, Greece, etc. was bought legally from the Ottoman Turks. You can't undo the past.

      There is some criticism of the way the British collected some historical antiquities.
      However :- on the plus side ... it's nice to have them altogether in one place. That way we reduce the carbon footprint of anyone who wants to see them --- as less travelling is required 😉😊

      @@Walk_with_Efren my opinion is it should still be in France, the cloud it was moved to Britain in 1802 is questionable, mind you most form of art in museums have questionable history of movements

    As soon as I was thinking it, you said it in the video: It's amazing that all those churches and chapels are open!! I still don't understand why so often they're closed in Spain (and in Portugal too, at least I found it that way). Another gorgeous video. Question: What baggage transfer service did you end up using?

    • @Walk_with_Efren
      @Walk_with_Efren  2 года назад +1

      It all changes so fast once you cross the Pyrenees. I don't get why they are mostly closed in Spain but it sort of defeats the purpose of a oilgrimage. I used both la malle postale & transport claudine. They each cover half the trip.

      You can't go wrong. It let's you bring extra goodies and it literally takes the weight off your back. Just make sure your luggage, when opened, fits below the bed. I talk about it in one of the videos.

    I followed your first CDS vlog and loving this one so much that I may decide to do the LePuy instead of El Norte next year. Question: I noticed all the bugs/flies on horses/cows--were there tons on the path that it became uncomfortable? You haven't mentioned it on the videos so assume not but just checking. I'd be traveling May/June.

    • @Walk_with_Efren

      Thank you so much. The puy route took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting it to be so beautiful, and now it's one of my favorite. I don't recall issues with bugs, but then again, I have a freakishly immunity to them.

    Enjoying every video and you seem to enjoy it as well! Does it work for you with English now or is it Google translate? I love the Relive-ending of the video. You you record the trip in the relive app as well or do you import a file to this app later on?

    • @Walk_with_Efren

      Thank you Helene. Google translate all the way. Although I met a Spanish speaking French that helped me a lot. I tracked my walk using my samsung health app and later inport the GPS file into Relive to create the animation. I pay their monthly plan for access to HD and slow animation. The free versions is lowress and fast.
