Oooh, a Black Madonna. I hear you can find those along this route. Very special and mystical. What a great stage and a beautiful day. It's a shame your companions had to leave you. At least you had Amelie for a few days longer. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest parts of the Camino, but we get used to it. Another great video, Efren! Thank you for all you do!
I just can’t get enough of this Camino Efrén; to me it just seems the very best of all your Caminos! The Via Podiensis seems just sublime, and indeed, a fella could get used to this life! Wonderful footage, with excellent accompiament of the sound track and topped off with a generous helping of Drone footage! ¡Buen Camino y Salud Efrén! ⛺️👣🎮🛸🍷🍷👍😎
It is like a thriller. Will you find a new camino-friend under 50 who speaks english/spanish AND french? Wonderful scenery and villages. Love the uniform colour of the buildnings and roofs.
A Beehive Hut; anyways that is what they call them in Ireland; they look a lot like that; very, very old, back to Celtic times; so cool to be up close and inside of it.
I'm sooo happy you're watching these videos, Bronwen. You've been such an inspiration to me and so helpful in all my planning for my future Chemin along the VP. I know how much you love this particular Way. I'm so glad Efren did this Chemin; he's honored it so much with his beautiful work, and you do so much work too in helping every pilgrim who wants to do this Camino.
@@TheAnactoria I am loving every one of these vlogs ... and seeing the chemin in a different way thanks to the drone footage ... no idea how I manage to survive the days before the new one arrives 😉
I loved the music that began playing at the 7:53 mark. I think it may be "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling." Anyway, it's perfect. This camino has been so beautiful, and, like you, I love that the churches and little chapels are always open. (No! The hymn is "Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus.")
Efron, who is singing "Come Thou Long Expected Jesus" at 7:55? It's the most beautiful, mystical version I have ever heard! It fits perfectly with the images you captured at the church.
Thanks for that stage. Wonderful!! Tell me my friend where does your love of flowers originate in your life? I've noticed this from 2017 camino when you put one in your ear every day. Cheers Miki from the Gold Coast Australia
Wow efren. That hill top village was beautiful . So....... 😀👵🤸♂️what’s wrong with being over 50 isn’t 60 the new 50 anyway? (Some comments you will never live down ). 🇦🇺
@@Walk_with_Efren I have watched a cpl of your older videos - you have changed so much. You are less serious now, more relaxed, you seem to have more fun with your videos. Have a fabulous time in the Himalayas - I look forward to seeing them. You have convinced me the Le Puy to SJJP is what to do next. 😁
Hola! Love your videos ! You have definetly inspired me to walk the Camino. I'm going to walk the Camino Frances in June and was thinking of bring a drone because I know my family will love to see the scenery. My question is did you need to get a certification to fly your drone in España? Gracias.
thank you so much. if the drone weights less than 250g you don't need a license. just fly responsible and follow the local regulations. I would say leave it at home and enjoy your walk but who am i to say right? buen camino.
@@Walk_with_Efren Thank you for responding. I'm still debating the drone especially since it is my first Camino. I don't want to get caught up with pictures and video and then miss out on just enjoying the walk. Gracias y buen camino!
Great video but I think you are mistaken. Inside a church (does not matter if you have that religion or not) you should NOT do "whatever": it was DISRESPECTFUL. On the track or in a open space, although it is not what a PILGRIMAGE is it might be ok. You can not behave as an adolescent, after all you are not one anymore.
I think three adults from different cultures having a little fun in order to bond is not disrespectful at all. It should be what it's all about. In the house of the lord or anywhere else in the world. Don't take life so seriously at least that's how I see it.
I am at a loss for words. Such beauty. And you are a remarkable photographer as well. Amazing!!!

Agreed. I think I want to do this. Once upon a time I was great in French. Now I’m ok in Spanish. So if I brush up on both, Im going to do it.

I thought the same thing about the sun flowers. How spectacular when they’re blooming. Great video again! Thank you!!!
Love Le Puy!!! 🤗

You are correct! Both hymns (and several others too) are sung to that tune entitled Hyfrydol. It’s a very old Welsh folk tune.

The Sunflower Farmers will capture seeds from all the dying Sunflowers. They have to die/dry up after they are done blooming to capture the seeds.

Beautiful videos Efren, thank you. What is the piano music in the earlier part of this video.
thank you so much Kate. I'm currently hiking in the Himalayas. I'll let you know the name of the song once I get back home.
