Thank you so much for this. Watching for the second time. I didn't get to do the Le Puy this year like I'd wanted to, but seeing this allows me to experience it. I'm just so grateful. This is beyond beautiful, this footage. What a gift to us pilgrims this vlog will be.
Your videos are benchmark for travel videos. A sensitivity to and for cultures, showing what’s around the next bend, giving vision to what many would miss, only seeing it passing by once and moving on. The cinematography adds to an evanescent sense of wonder that some other world travelers are missing by compression, here..we’re allowed to breath a little, take time to not only smell the roses but to walk the garden. Teaching about the Way and taking away some mysteries…in a good way…but leaving enough so that a sense of innocence and wonder and adventure is still alive and attractive enough to draw someone in. Eating drinking sharing the road as if we’re along is the best part. Here’s to the journey🙏
Such a symbolic commencement to a Camino and such a lovely starting point, thank you for sharing Efren. Another Camino for the bucket list, love it. I like the way you threw in a word of Italian.
I'm totally stealing your plastic lunch box idea on my next camino. Nice way to keep all the snacks, food and utensils together. I walked Le Puy in August/Sept 2019, so this is really bringing it all back for me.
Another one on my list,i walked lucca to rome in june,10 days over st bernard pass from martigny in july and st jean to logrono in september again, still magical!
I'm behind in watching videos but I wanted to tell you I loved the view when you came out of that canopy - looking out over the wheat fields to the hills and valleys beyond...on my. Lovely. Excellent vlog as always!

Thx Efren, what a beautiful and another inspiring video about another new Camino adventure. At the same time Sept. '21, a bit more up north, I was on the Camino de Vézelay. Buen Camino.
They open the floor of the cathedral. Just think of the team who came up with that idea. So amazing. If all goes well Sept 2022...I 'll be there yikes!!!,
I enjoyed each moment of this video...so happy to follow you on this trail, as I was curious to see it...hopefully I'll do it myself, one day Thank you Efren
Love watching your videos and it shows a lovely arial of the villages we walk into. Thank you. I would like to ask how you made contact with the accommodation in Le Puy, at the Relais du Pelerin St-Jaques. We are wishing to stay next April 2023.
@bmdrona 1 second ago I started my Chemin de St Jacques in Sept 2021 and it is so wonderfully refreshing watching Efren's video. Thank you very much for your production.
Watched the entire Via Francegina series earlier this week. Took me three days. That camino was an epic achievement, doing the whole route starting from Canterbury and taking the grinding plains of the northwestern France under the scorching Sun. Compared to the Via Francegina vlogs, I like the changes you've made how you use audio and what is the ratio of talking/not talking.

Buen camino.
Hi Efren! I like your Caminos the best. I would ask you about two questions. First about availability on luggage transportation in the Via apodiense, is it like French Camino. Second about what month have you gone. Thanks for sharing your Camino
Hi Efren, thanks for the accommodation break down. I'm going to follow the same route, but I will only go as far as Cahors on the camino. You mentioned booking the gite ahead of time (because of COVID). Will that be necessary in 2023? How much ahead did you book or did you do it a few days in advance? Is it easy to book? You mention the name of the gite but is there a website or did you call ahead? How did you manage that? I would prefer not to book and to go with the flow and trust the camino, but if accommodations are scarce I'll book ahead. I'll watch your other videos for the rest of your journey. Thanks again.
I booked everything a few weeks before I even landed in France. I used gronze.com to get a list of accommodations and the stages. You can download my gps tracks and you will find them there as well. You can also get the miam miam dodo guidebook at the cathedral in le puy. If you speak French I recommend you book a day or two in advance.
@@Walk_with_Efren Thank you very much, Efren. I heard about the miam miam dodo guidebook and I was going to pick one up in Le Puy. I do speak French since I'm in Montreal, QC. It's my second language. I took note of your suggestions. Thanks a million.
Hi Efren…. Thank you so much for sharing your vlog and amazing videos. My friend and I are planning our first pilgrimage beginning in Lyon. Did you use a guidebook in English version for le Puy to Santiago de Campostela? If so, what is the title of the book and author? Thank you - Jerrie
Hola Efren, my husband and I walked the GR65 in May/June 2019. I speak French fluently (born in Quebec). We love to watch your videos. So cool to see the areas with your drone. One thing I get a bit annoyed is the way you pronounce gite...LOL I guess you should have used your google translator to be sure you say it properly in French. Anybody mentioned something about it? I hope you do not get offended by my remark. You will say gite many times during all your videos on the Via Podiensis. So far we have watched until Nasbinals . We watch 1 or 2 videos each night. I have written the story of our Camino ( ON FOOT IN FRANCE- available on Amazon). I like to share my photos as well on FB and in 2023 I will share some videos here on my RUclips channel. Que curioso estilo de esa iglesia en Francia, parece mudéjar, el estilo de los árabes en territorio cristiano en España.
