The castle with the strong walls where nothing hurts you when you live inside is a cemetery. In Italy cemeteries have walls and the Verano cemetery in Rome looks like a castle. She took her life.
She thought about it, but the song is about a real living person.

My interpretation was:
He tried to help her, he asked her to tell him her truths a million times. He called her different ways (Coraline, Coralain). No matter how he tried he couldn't help.
At the end, he brings in the loss of a unborn child, as if this is the last shock and wha broke her definitely. And he accuses her father. It's like before she was stuck in her prison and then she finally found a solution to end the suffering.
And then the music underlines it. Finally at peace.
Non ha conosciuto l'amore is past tense. It's not Non ha ancora conosciuto or non conoscerà mai... it sounds final.
Who said it's about his ex-girlfriend? Not him. He said he will never tell.

Furthermore, the "description" that the song was dedicated to his ex-girlfriend Giorgia Soleri who suffers from Vulvodynia, in my opinion was born to cover the true identity of the unfortunate protagonist of the song. Perhaps even with a different name, the protagonist was too recognizable by those who frequented the Maneskins, and an accusation of violence by her father (if it had not been made official with a complaint) was too serious.
@@annarae2396 i don't think so. Ending a song with a reference to suicide is pretty clear to me. They write their songs with so much attention to detail, especially this one, it's not an accident that it sounds so frustrated like the person was unable to help her and then it ends like this.
This performance of this song is legendary, you can see how deeply Damiano was feeling the emotions. They were returning guests to the famous Sanremo festival after winning it the year before and then winning Eurovision and rocketing to international fame. This song deals with so many themes of bullying, low self esteem, eating disorders, parental abuse and suicidal thoughts. Depending on my mood it often brings me to tears along with Damiano. I listen to it at least once a day.
Also the name of the band is pronounced moan-eh-skin, or evan man-eh-skin but not man-skin, please.😊

Like each hairstyle of his has been given it's own name, and has it's own fans and detractors. Princiano, the hairstyle he's got here, is beloved by most of fandom. (He's now growing it back out after shaving it off to a buzzcut last year)
The general fandom opinion on Ethan's ( aka the drummer's) hair is that he's never allowed to cut it ever. ;-)

Please call them Mo-ne-skin or Ma-ne-skin instead of Mainskin 😮 Coraline is imo one of the most beautiful songs they have ever made, however there are at least another 30 very good songs of Måneskin in very different styles.

If you would like to see something a little bit different, try the Danish national symphony orchestra version of the theme to the good the bad and the ugly, totally spectacular to hear and watch.
Good suggestion but the best version it’s where the composer Ennio Morricone directs it’s on orchestra. I don’t really understand why became viral a “ cover” and not the original.
@@Florence-kn3dq I don't think I've seen the original moricone version, but if the Danish national symphony orchestra brings a fantastic piece of music to a new audience I don't see that being a bad thing.
