What a year. ...love lost in your eyes... Metallica One is a great song but it's hard to believe it ever got played on mainstream radio...it's so hard and unusual for radio especially back then...
I bet they never played the played the hard interlude in the middle of the song or at least not much...that is the best part.. it's an angry song and the middle shows it...they also edit American Pie to death as well...
The living years is one of the best songs ever made...can't listen to Great White anymore...said they would retire Desert Moon in honor of the fire victims and play it now in their shows with no profits going to them... shameless...guess they thought people would forget...I didn't..
I loved watching this video compilation. It brought back some wonderful memories. I just recollected my family's Pocono trip that Memorial Day weekend like it was yesterday with 7:55 and 9:43 being that trip's earworm.
1:10 One of the greatest women song! 1:26 Re-enter was very rare at those days😮 2:09 Same title song charting right now! (Bailey Zimmerman’s “Rock And A Hard Place” is now at #17, as a former top 10 hit!) 5:57 Rick Astley still being popular out here 7:20 The Hot Stuff Lady! (But I remember “Bad Girls” more)
living years is utterly lame. tries so hard to preach. hits you over the head with its "message" . most of the rest of this is pretty good . a few "deep" message songs that do it the right way. and a lot of fun upbeat pop, rock, dance music
@ Creates 100: 'The Living Years' is one of the greatest, most poignant songs of all time. If you want 'lame', look no further than Milli Vanilli, Fine Young Cannibals or the dance music you speak so well of.

It was. "one" Surprised the heck out of many. It's length alone. Would've loved to hear the "radio edit"😁
@honestpage82 Deb looked so natural and pretty then.

I remember hearing "I like It" by Dino everywhere I went. "Forever your Girl" is my favorite Paula Abdul song.
