There's some good songs in this! Interestingly the Sylvester songs were hits here in the UK. That disco version of a 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' is pretty cool! Van Halen were pretty ahead here for 1979. That could easily be anything in the early 80s. 'Dance Away', 'Does Your Mother Know' were huge hits here in the UK! Both are still played on the radio now. Even 'One Way Or Another' was a hit here! Bette Midler doing disco suits her ditto with Cher who was very pretty then. 'Street Life' not being a hit there shocks me too! But the biggest shock is 'Highway To Hell' - everyone knows that song! Madness. Good selection of songs 👍
In latin america Billy Joel, George Benson, Sylvester , Chic and many others songs were very successful

Oh wow. What a treasure. I was 19 sneaking alot of 45's in the house because Dad be screaming at me wasting my money on music.
Quelques prémices des années 80 apparaissent déjà avec The Cars, Van Halen, Triumph, The Police, Cheap Trick, New England, The Buggles avec "Video kills the radio stars" qui a anticipé l'arrivée de MTV en 1981.
Sinon, je suis étonné que "Honesty" (Billy Joel), "One Way Or Another" (Blondie) et "Goodbye Stranger" (Supertramp) ne soient pas montés plus haut dans les charts à l'époque car ces titres sont des n°1 en puissance dans l'esprit de beaucoup de gens de plusieurs générations.
