I was a 15 yr old girl of color then. And no disrespect to white music, but back then I really liked Elton John's music and some others. But after the 70s, I couldn't get with white music. But it's good hearing this again.
Before FM took over with it’s niche stations AM music with Top 40 formats had Motown, Country, Psychedelic, Rock, Metal at it’s inception, Blues and yes some crap like Bubble gum music were all on the same station am glad i was exposed to all of it
The Beach Boys - Sail On Sailor was from 1973. From the Holland album. Beach Boys didn't have any new music until 1976's 15 Big Ones. From another one born in 1975.
This was some of the most greatest music it's a real time capsule thank you for sharing 👍👍🇺🇸 . P. S. When played people know where they were in time 👬
I remember! I was 17 & having a ball being a teen with your radio by your side!
Interesting and underrated year and tracks. Great compilation. Thanks Francis.
Great video, hearing other songs of 1975. Hope you do it for every year. Especially the 80s!
I'm three songs in and I already love it! Thanks.
Supertramp in 1975? Wow!!

I believe it's Diamond Rio, not Diamond REO...only other act I know of with REO in their name is REO Speedwagon.
Still doing a great job showing the hits that aren't ever on any other list of hits channels! I'm sticking with you!
Thank you 😘

How does Led Zeppelin keep on ending up on these lists when they didn't release any singles?
💓💕💗💘
Marie Osmond's version of "Who's Sorry Now" was awful, couldn't be compare to CONNIE FRANCIS' version.
