They are making some very nice cars - next weeks review will be the GV60.
Agreed. They have that look of class and luxury, which isn't something you'd expect of a South Korean car, but this is clearly top notch quality, and deserves the success it gets. If I was looking at £60k plus EV's, I'd be *sorely* tempted by this car.
Receiving mine on 13th this month - can't wait ! slightly wishing I went with matte paint but think I'll get it satin PPF'd As you said go with all the options - only one I didn't (as don't care) is the Vehicle to load pack. On the GV60 (which I was going to buy initially) you had to option this (outdoor pack) to get roof rails but they come as standard on GV70. Range not such an issue if charging from home and with quick charge (v good charge curve between 10% and 80%)
I wouldn’t mind the frequent charging stops tbh Jim. With all the admiring glances at the charging station, I’d never leave the place 😂. Shame I lack the refinement required to drive a car like that… I think my collection of Minions enhances any car, but possibly the GV70 could shine without them 🤔😁

Nice car but that paint in a matt gunmetal colour is a bodyshop's nightmare. Similar colour offered by Mercedes and the paint sprayers hate them when they turn up
May have dropped a clanger using that name, and it's associations with unpleasantness. Something like Sovereign Silver may have been better. But then the Top Dogs at Hyundai/Genesis probably wouldn't be aware of you know who, or what he got up to. Rolls Royce did similar many moons ago, when the Rolls Royce Silver Mist went on sale in Germany. Mist is German for sh*t. Ooops.
Matt paint is so wrong. Paintwork should be as shiny and glossy as possible. Also personally I hate the wall between front seats, should be open so you can slide across easily to get out of the car on the opposite side when people park too close to you

Genesis interiors are on a totally different level. I could just sit in that front seat, doing nothing, And just the back seat, is by a margin more intersesting and premium then anything T***a ever produced
I know the batteries have to go somewhere but why oh why are all of the boot lips so high in all electric cars. Medium sized dogs are not welcome in the electric world so far and it annoys the hell out of me. I want to buy one but until this is solved my 160k a4 avant will just keep on truckin’

The merc one marks very easily with a fingerprint etc but this one doesn’t - which is nice
Agreed - if you want that effect choose the colour in metallic and then get satin PPF. You get the film protection the too 👍

The only seat I prefer is the Polestar; Genesis are making superb cars right now.
Starting price? How much? Looks an absolute bargain when you look at the launch price of the Abarth EV. Apparently delivery in 2 weeks.
£64.5k, so about £6/£7k less than a BMW IX
