The BMW iX3 uses the last version of iDrive with buttons, not the fully touchscreen one. That is the best infotainment on the market and better than the one shown here
I had a Genesis G80. It was truly a great beautiful car . Only challenge I have with this iteration is the interior is less spacious than the Model Y and range. Range without the Tesla network is spotty and quite not a fun experience. Even in one of mY Performance Model Y’s riding on 21’s… I dislike road trips over 600 miles due to the amount of time used in charging
Why does the charger connection have to be so complicated, when Tesla had such a good simple connection that often have issues trying to charge... It often take longer to get started than filling up a 50litre tank...
Paintwork looks like it's been cleaned with a yard brush or it has very soft paint, either way it's not a good look for a "premium brand" car. I think you'd look like you couldn't afford a Bentley, so you bought this Korean offering to, similar to a Boxter over a 911 years ago.
If one of your reasons to buy an EV is to reduce your carbon footprint, I suggest you think carefully about buying one from Genesis in the UK. Two issues with my car have resulted in two 520 mile round trips on the back of a diesel lorry to what is currently their only service centre in the UK. Three months of Genesis ownership have resulted in a higher carbon footprint than three YEARS of Tesla ownership.
With respect, I think I'd have looked into where I was going to have to get it serviced prior to buying it. I'd do that with any car I was contemplating buying.
These cars are so expensive now, and also so expensive to run that it no longer makes sense for the vast majority of the population to buy them. Depreciation alone will cost £5k to £10k a year with these behemoths! Running costs are also going up so fast that it cost more to run these cars when driving long distances. Also, these cars are around 2 to 3 tons GVW! The amount of scarce resources used to produce them is not eco-friendly and simply beg the question, why do we allow ourselves to be forced by politicians into such a questionable solution to replace ICE. We do need to reset our thinking about whether EVs are the right 'one' solution.
I was the in the market for a lux SUV EV. This is a segment above the iX3 and iPace - it competes with the Polestar 3, Bmw iX, Mercedes EQE, and Audi Q8 eTron (like you said). Sadly it falls short. The spec is poverty in standard form - you need to add £7k of options, e.g. no heated fronts as standard 🤨 Your video was full of option recommendations - "if you add x option pack then it improves....." The battery is too small and thus range is poor, just the same as the base model iX.
Way too many suvs why do folks need em they're usually seen at school drop offs supermarkets and the like better sticking to vehicles we have and that means ice and driving less mind that's a huge problem as public so called transport sucks

The paint finish on the car I looked at was awful, as was the assembly quality of the interior plastics, with their creaky quality. The fact it had no hatchback was a minus for me too. I then watched Sandy Munro's RUclips video, where his work-shop reverse engineered a Model 3, concentrating particularly on the design aspects and standards of construction. They found 9 separate pieces of steel had been used to form a wheel arch. Other car makers typically do the same job with 2 or 3 parts. To top it all off, I read some comments on Tesla forums, from actual owners, bitterly complaining about second rate customer after sales. So, no Tesla for me. At the moment they lack the mass production experience of many other car makers. I came away from the Model 3 I looked at with the impression of it being like a kit car....
Almost certain to be much less of an issue within the next 2 to 3 years, once the likes of Gridserve get closer to completing their programme of large charge hubs on most of Britain's major road routes. All will have provision for 350kw chargers. The first Gridserve site - at Braintree in Essex - has over fifteen 350kw chargers, and these will readily top up an EV like the Genesis in 15 minutes or less. So yes, it's an issue at the moment, but probably not for too much longer.

Hi Harry, totally agree, too many negative comments on chargers, queues, not working, and poor real world range. Not until I can get 400 miles range will I consider one. But why would I want to change my full spec XC60, this will last me for a long long time. Cheers A
