I decided to go back to school to become and Aesthetician because I have a businesses making natural skincare products and I took an herbal class to become an Master herbalist and I love when a customer email me letting know that they see changes in their skin so quickly. Learning about natural herbs and oils and their benefits really helped me when it came to using them in my products. Now that I will be going to back to school to become an Aesthetician this will def help me to expand my brand.
@@Celti_ of course here is the link of the school I attended. But to be honest you don’t have to attend a school to become an master herbalists. Love this! One of the only good things about not being able to work has been all of the continuing education I finally have time for. Since March, I’ve done a ton of certifications and trainings- honestly too many to list without seeming obnoxious haha. Skin Script has been a particularly great resource for free education, they have amazing webinars they do live then post to RUclips. The last one was about how your gut health and microbiome affect your skin, super interesting. I also recently read the Fearless Beauties book about treating POC skin and it’s amazing. The struggle is real in California right now (especially Alameda County), but at least we will be coming back to work someday with a ton of new knowledge!
Kristen M omg I’m in alameda county toooo. Thank you for sharing all of this! I will have to look into the gut class as I struggle w ibs. Sounds so interesting!
I love skin script and will look into their courses. Yay I just got so excited to find this out. I’ve also taken lots of extra courses during quarantine!
You girls are so inspiring!! I’m starting Esthetician school in July and I can hardly wait!! Would you recommend taking some courses before I start school since I have to wait a couple months or is it better to start after school?
Yes!!! Agreed, I've been taking nutrition courses as I'm learning more and more it's all interconnected and a 360 approach gets and maintains great results. Gut health is huge. I too will be checking out that class. So grateful for all information, thanks a bunch.
