Just a heads up, if you can, try the chair out before you buy. I'm a relatively healthy person and after just 2 days of using it I was getting sharp back paint, headaches and my butt was hurting. Returning it was a nightmare, support is terrible and even though it was causing me pain, they charged me well over $300 to return it. Something to keep in mind.
How long did you try the chair? i've been using them well over a year now. and it took a while to adjust, but that was because my the way i was sitting on normal chairs was awful. Something to definitely keep in mind as wel is your desk height. But as far as real ergonomic chairs, this one is the one that really forces you to sit right while feeling comfortable. It definitely took a while to get used too though. Maybe the back pain and headaches have a different problem.. it might be just what you need. i'm not sponsored but i got the chair from work, i work as a programmer so i spend a lot of time siting, but also have a standing desk. So yea i understand im quite lucky, they're pricey to just try..
I just put mine together this evening! Thank you for explaining the levers on the seat and the control for moving the back. Thanks for your review. I have been using one in an OB/GYN office once a week and now have the new one for my other OB/GYN office I am at 3 days a week. Love the chair!!
I really like my HÅG chair because I’m smaller and most ergo chair armrests are too far away from my arms/elbows, even if I adjust them. The backrest on this chair allows me to rest my elbows on it, which helps my posture (opens the chest, as opposed to shoulders slumping forward). I like the firm cushion and that I can put my feet on the little rest areas on the chair legs. But it’s not a chair for everybody - my husband greatly prefers his Herman Miller ergo chair.
They actually sale a shorter rod for the chair to accommodate a shorter table. That’s what I ended up having to get. I’m now looking to get the standing desk stand too!
@@amandaritchard6491 And now there's an even shorter one that may work best for many. 150mm lift: Height Adjustment 16.4" - 21.5" (Sorry about the inches, I'm from the US.) 🙂
I’ve had one for many years. Despite its length of time on the market they seem to refuse innovation of its design. It really needs a forward tilt (or better a full rocking mechanism) and a smaller bump on the front to make its “saddle mode” more comfortable.
AGREED! Had mine since 2020 and while I love so much about it, I desperately want forward tilt and I agree the center bump needs to be a little less chunky.
This chair should be “the better life” chair! It looks to be a necessity for people that have back and hip issues. Especially if your a home based small buisness owner and need something like this to make what ever it is your selling. I wish I could afford this chair. This or the Lean Right (something like that) look to be the best options for me. Anyway, thank you for this review. Very informative and fun to watch!😁👍♥️
It should work with a normal height desk. for some people it may feel slightly too high - for me, a desk at 35 inches high works perfectly + anything higher
Hey, I got one a month ago and was not expecting the wobbly back which does show in your video... do you think that's the case with all chairs? I personally find it incredibly annoying and I feel like it's wobbling more over timeo
My seat’s back does side to side, but feels right for the way I use it. Maybe yours is more wobbly than normal? Mine hasn’t become more wobbly over time - has stayed the same and this is the second one I own, both no issues
@@Justin_tech @Eeee , I have bought an used one and the back support is also a little loose : the arm rest wiggle and moves a bit in every direction. Is it the same for you ?
@@sterlingman2109 Mine wobbles a bit, and it annoyed me for a long time. now though, I think the slight amount of movement lends to the way you're meant to use this chair (more active sitting, movement, and switching of positions), so when I rock or sway around to engage more core and back muscles the back moves with me a little bit.
Hey Justin! What's the YT link / handle for the other tech channel you're now on? I had a quick search but wasn't sure if I was spelling it right haha. Wanna make sure I don't miss you over there too - this chair looks awesome btw. Hope New York is treating you well :)))))

I though the black nozzle at the front was for you to pee so you don't have to go to the bathroom and save and extra 10 minutes of your working day! efficient!!! hahahaha

So, how did the upholstery shampoo work out?
Hey @Justin_tech, if the Capisco is still serving you, do you have any long term reviews and whether it held up over time (esp the cushions)?

What seat height do you have?
Great video, very informative.
I’ve been wanting this chair for ages!! I had a quick question, if we can adjust the chair’s height, why can’t we use it with a regular height desk?
It should work with a normal height desk. for some people it may feel slightly too high - for me, a desk at 35 inches high works perfectly + anything higher

Caution: I found Reddit posts that complain about pain from using this chair for year!!!
Do the white feet and foot ring get dirty/darker over time?
I haven't noticed that at all.

Thousand bucks for a f#cking chair.
Are you f#cking crazy?
Worst chair I have ever bought.
why?
I think your thumb-nails are holding you back.
Leaning back when the chair is raised like that doesn't sound like a good idea, nor does it look safe.
It’s super safe and secure and should be at its price!
