Crunchyroll does have one competitor, HIDIVE. A smaller library but it has some critically acclaimed anime that Crunchyroll doesn't. There's also RetroCrush with old anime. It's much smaller and not really a competitor, but most of their anime are free with ads.

The DCU’s whole, “we’re gonna make dark superhero films that people won’t be comfortable taking their kids to, but we want the box office of the kid-friendly superhero movies” is what killed it. Also, when your comic book movies are being masterminded by a guy who doesn’t read comics, there’s an issue. And you might need to read more comics from the 60s if THAT card looks like 60s style. I don't think "The Rock" ruined the DCEU, it wasn't really anything good to begin with. It was pushed out too fast without a good plan and unified vision behind it. Some movies did good but others did poorly, along with pushing out a 'Justice League' movie out before they even introduced the starting members with their own solo movies.

I liked the art style mostly, I watched a few youtubers play it 100%, yeah the gameplay sucks and the backgrounds don't show what you can stand, walk and etc but if it had more time to brew I'm sure it would have been fine. Especially knowing what platforms is what, and giving hints how to do things. It's kinda like the mario bros movie, the first one, it's bad yes but it's so bad it's good.
