Amico coverage with a Tushy sponsor seems accurate 😅😅
This is at least our 5th roadmap....
According to my knowledge a huge problem they will most likely run into with IOS is that Apple does not like for one app to link to multiple apps ( age rating reasons etc). Companies like Microsoft and Netflix have to make special deals just to have their apps on IOS because they link to multiple sources ( different movies or games). Unless Apple has changed the way their rules are structured I don't see Amico making it into the IOS app store.
The roadmap is a joke. They are in complete denial that there is virtually no market for what they are trying to bring to market.
i just want to play finnigan fox so i am happy to see it on the roadmap and play soon, so far the ai update is released to the correct release date, it seems they keep their word this time.
The rigid redux game has a amico exklusiv coop mode so this one sounds also like a better experience to enjoy together on amico home instead of the lonely forever singleplayer version on other platforms.
i will stand behind the intellivision amico instead of laughting about it, afterall they bring a own new gaming platform with the best animated home menu from all consoles + some exklusiv games so ofcourse all in one it takes its time, its not just 1 game they made a own new gaming platform like a wiiU2 with new fresh ideas instead of this boring generic consolewars(and nintendo) thing.
Tommy has been providing so many hours of entertainment with his ridiculous antics, I really have to thank him for it.
I mean, he's gone now. You're not wrong, though.
I am sooooo curious how a working day looks like for John Alvarado or Phil Adams. What are they actually doing in 40-hour work week???
Omg yes! More Amico! The story that keeps on giving.
Good to see this dumpster fire still burning with how cold the weather has been as of late.
at this rate my kids who I don't even have will be going off to college when the amico is done
Or the story that just won’t die
Less a roadmap and more, "Let's try not to die backing out of the garage".
**Pinto explodes after tap**
Every time they say, "Dart Frenzy," I hear, "Dark Frenzy," the latter of which actually sounds interesting... which is how I knew I heard it wrong.
Until I just read your post, I also heard Dark Frenzy and was quite curious about it. 🙂
How appropriate the sponsor when discussing Tommy 💩🤣
Well technically it's not about Tommy, it's the Amico that he's no longer a part of. But this is still appropriate when talking about him in general lol
Maybe Tommy had to blow 30 million to get the full 300 million dollar inheritance like in Brewster's Millions...
Tommy once blew god. Just for funsies cause that's how Tommy rolls.
Dart Frenzy is an old WiiWare game (called Dart Rage) that sold for $6 back in 2010. It's available for Amico Home for $15.
But just think of the value here. It's on a system made by the guy that worked on the Wii with miyamoto😂.
@@MentalLiberation You mean Tommy's close, personal friend, "Shiggy?"
@@nolster1 Good old Shiggy ;)
Shark Shark has sold 330 units on Steam for a gross revenue of $3959.00 which isn't counting the cut that Steam gets. Astrosmash has 450 units sold for a revenue of $5153.
Steam's cut is 30%, isn't it? So around $2700-ish left of Shark Shark's earnings, and $3607-ish for Astrosmash. Yeah, that's definitely the basis to splurge hundreds of thousands of dollars on manufacturing these garbage-ass controllers. Who wouldn't jump at that opportunity to throw away all their money chasing the delusions of a few cranks online? I bet investors are beating down the doors of Intellivision's garage/basement HQ.
@@dennett316 They should try selling on Epic Games store lol. They're actually generous to game developers and take only 12% of their sales revenue.
But don't the sales of those games go to BBG? I thought Intellivision sold those IP's?
I can see that 10x return coming soon !
If only they can do like 12x of that in pure profit, they can finally settle with that office furniture suit. The fact they approached 400 or 500 units is kind of surprising to me.
A teenager with programming skills, an old school Intellivision shell, a Raspberry Pi, and a couple of PS3 controllers would have come out with an actual thing. As opposed to the vapourware Amico.
Pat and Ian dunking on Amico = the only thing that can draw my attention from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Also, I like that picture of Tommy Tallarico staring sideways at Ian from the background and the ghost of Larry in the background.
Aloha!
DJC and Mullis just started crying over this podcast hugging one another....
No way...they're putting together their point by point rebuttals of Pat and Ian's points, just like they said they would do for the HBomberguy video on Tommy. I'm sure they'll release that video any day now...
Jaw hits the floor!
I love that just after Hbomb released a 4 hour video about plagiarism, it starts coming out that, on top of all of his other lies, Tommy's actual music may have also been plagiarized.
I like to imagine Harris finding this out and shaking his fist at the skies screaming, "Tallarico!"
Well, at least Tommy will always have “Anything but Tangerines”. They can’t take that away from him, I guess.
[Padme closeup: “They’ll never take that away from him, right?”]
Actually, Jean-Christophe Beck composed "Anything but Tangerines".
@@atomicshroom Now, you stop! Stop it! I'm telling you now...
Besides, in any case, Tommy Tallarico will always have "New Junk City," and no one can take that away from him.
[Padme intensifies: "No one can take "New Junk City" away from Tommy Tallarico, right?"]
Hey Pat and Ian. Discovered the podcast via this awful Amico disaster, and now I can't stop binge watching these episodes. I literally said "Oh fuck yea!" out loud when I saw this premier. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for covering this whole thing in a smart, mature, yet still hilarious way. It's super refreshing to see a RUclips video that isn't just some crazy person spewing nonsense like a child. Love the content, thanks for making it! All the best guys.
In all honesty (jokes aside): I am *STILL* shocked that there are certain channels like DJC that are shilling for the Amico all these years later.
And worse (in the case of his specific channel)... he is _STILL_ REGULARLY telling unsuspecting investors who have clearly been out of the loop, that pop into his weekly streams asking if (and when) the Amico Console will be coming out (many even asking if they should get a refund) - that the Amico is indeed coming out real soon, and will have all the things promised to them by tommy. Telling them to just wait, and nearly weekly promising "news" and "updates" on the very next stream.
These people should be in jail. This is criminal collusion. These smaller youtubers who have given investment advice based on lies and without disclosing their own financial involvements... jesus.
Can you imagine being so dumb as to have potentially been involved with a crime/scam.... and then instead of disappearing for awhile or rebranding your channel (like many of the guilty cultists did)... you are STILL digging your hole deeper with further lies and scamming of inventors (for no financial gain at this point and at the expense of your credibility).
Tallarico needs a tushie subscription
It is fitting that the Tushy promotion is tied to the Amico segment. I approve.
Right? They segue from talking about shit, to talking about shit!
No more "grandpa's brown" with Tushy!
Amico content is the best content. 4 more years baby!!!
The look on Ian's face during the sponsor read.... just priceless.
In response to who made the Sonic and the Black Knight music... let me guess..."It was always Joey!" 🤔
No it's actually a weirder story, i encourage you to look at the actual full story but i read that he handed jun senoue 3 tracks from a PS1 game that one of his composers worked on and had him remix 2 of the tracks while the 3rd one was kept as it was just not compressed.
"row-ads." I see you, Ian
Pat...Ian, you've overlooked one thing with the controllers. There's thousands already finished! John and his mustache have been locked in a basement for the last 6 years building them from scratch. "They'd" only let him out to do game play videos then back into the dungeon. Go back, watch 'em and look into John's eyes. Tell me he's not a hostage! Imagine the egg on your faces when controllers ship 4 years from now (and 3 actually sell)!
Also, "Bulliest Bullshit"...new t-shirt??? Great stuff!
When your console game roadmap, for the entire year, is easily eclipsed in both quantity and quality, by one single typical week on every other system, out there.

Pat, you and Ian should do a Hbomberguy style video on the amico. I mean you were the first major youtubers to talk about it. It only makes sense.
They should also cover John Alvarado's statements about crowdfunding the Amico controller and Retro Bro crowdfunding a video game documentary. So many of the people who shilled Amico have moved on to new projects they want funded by an audience that still haven't even gotten their money back from Amico. I know it would gimp the poor thing's power further; but if they had made Amico Home primarily a smart TV/ Firestick thing I could see the controller idea being a bit less ridiculous.
Even better if it had something unique to bring to the table with non Amico games, like a trackball or paddle mode for the disc. Maybe VMU like functions that could display custom text and graphics on the screen as well? Hell, they could just pivot it to being a funky, unique controller... make it the 21st century's Turbo Touch. Why not? XD
Making it a standalone plug and play console is an even better idea, though.
I thought they canceld the CU podcast?
I never seen a company in love with the smell of it's own farts as much as Amico
Kinda got into gaming later than most in life lol so this whole amiico thing is semi new to me. But man is it funny to watch.

I wonder if that nozzle gets filthy if it's a fat person shitting, though? You know, with the constant diarrhea and unusual butt proportions and all?
Lets be real the Amico story has been so more entertaining then any game that would have ever came out for that system. 😂 I cant get enough. I hope it never ends. The never ending Amico story.

Relic Gamer is a c,ultist & also a J,ehovah's W,itness
Relic Gamer is more of a mystery to me. I guess the only reason he can like the Amico more than his Steam Deck was not because of its value (because Amico has none) but only because Tommy greeted them with a "Heyyy!" and "Yooo!" and made them think "omg he's just like one of us regular gamers 🥺"

I pre ordered my Amico whenever it was first introduced. Glad I got my deposit back.
I will say that their one saving grace is they seem to be refunding people... slowly. Based on what I see from comments like yours and on reddit, anyway. It's the bare minimum but it's hard to even expect that from "Intellivision".
It's kind of crazy that investors aren't more angry at Intellivision for taking all of the money they invested expecting them to develop and produce a console, and seeing all that money being instead used to develop shitty Android/iOS apps. I don't understand how there isn't yet a lawsuit underway.
There's no money to collect. Lawyers don't work for peanuts, and Intellivision is broke.
The investors have largely been gaslite and lied too by people like DJC.
If they ask questions directly to Amico they get radio silence (unless it's a compliment). If they ask in other places, they are told to ask the ambassadors who have prototype units - since they are 'experts' with "inside knowledge" and connections.
And when they then, naturally go to who they were initially told were the "amico ambassadors" (who are supposed to the the Public Relations Wing)... they are literally told it will be releasing really soon, and to ignore anything said otherwise, because all the comments and youtubers are just lying trolls.
And if you consume content made for the investors, they are never exposed to anything other than the cult Kool-Aid - rainbows and all tommys Promises still coming true. If someone from the outside posts a comment on one of their social media pages or here on youtube in a stream...
They just delete the comment or hide it before any of the investors see it.
Well, when you invest, you have to accept losses. It isn't great, but it's part of investing. From someone who lost $15k in investing, it's a b!tch.
I mean to be fair, there absolutely are lawsuits underway, or at least there were last I heard. Idk if any of the investors have grounds to sue since their investments were done through third-party services (Fig, Fundable, etc) and those services may have liability clauses as part of their tos.

apple won't let some other app in the store as a launcher like amico home.
1. Don’t forget the 30% App Store fee on each game sold. That’s a big chunk of money.
2. I worked in a Japanese board game company, mostly localising European games, and sometimes we got the manufacturing rights. This will mostly be for paper based games.
We would have to place orders with our contacts in China. For an order of 3,000 units, we could get a quote of $5 per unit. Then we had to roughly workout shipping, china to Japan, usually 20% of the unit cost. I never found out the actual cost because that came later.
Not including the tooling cost, I imagine the unit cost would be much higher because it’s plastic, then the shipping to America/Europe, maybe 40-50% of the unit cost. They’re not making much in the controllers at all. Unless they’re ordering tens of thousands of units.
They are gonna put a couple hundred of clunky controllers on sale to cover their asses legally, just in case. The same can be said about the "games" coming out. Just like Inafune did with Mighty Number 9: "it's better than nothing".😂
