Ian is exactly right. Billy and the old gang are good video game players in their own right and have been for years(decades). And as Ian said, why not just live that out and enjoy the coin op conventions and other perks that come along with the fame they had acquired before all this. No need to cheat. But unfortunately this is the path Billy and Co. have chosen so now their legacy's become a laughing stock.
I’m sorry, but Billy ALWAYS seemed like a scumbag. And I’m not sure he really ever was all that good. He hasn’t placed well in public tournaments. And it appears Todd Rodgers was never legit. It’s possible that Billy might have been a legit record-holder back in the late 70s/early 80s, but I’m not sure he could compete once gaming exploded in the 90s. And, clearly, Billy et al weren’t the types to just let their 15 minutes of fame pass them by. I don’t know, I could be wrong. But Billy just seems like a cheater through and through.
Billy Mitchell is a narcissist. Like all narcissists, he cannot help reacting to any threat to the false image he of himself that he has created in his head. It's pathological. There's nothing they can do about it.
That’s unfortunately, how it always seems to pan out. In any endeavor, you’ll always find people who devote an inexplicable amount of time and energy into succeeding by less than legitimate means. Time and energy, which, if applied correctly, would’ve likely given them greater (and more sustainable) success in the long run had they not picked the wrong path.

The reason no-one showed the DK joystick photos before is that the pictures were not in the wild. They were held by a random visitor to this event who had no idea that they meant anything. The problem with "money running out for lawyers" is that individuals who intimidate others through legal means often spend far less on lawyers than they cost to those who they attack. In some cases they represent themselves and spend almost nothing.
Pat and Ian already had Tommy and the shills soundly beaten, but that HBomber video was the most incredible verification for them. HBomber basically steamrolled flat any remaining delusion about Tommy and the Amico to millions of viewers who might otherwise not have heard about them.

YES you do need to remap the controls in both the Switch menu and Goldeneye (good ol' Solitaire controls). I would bet that Donkey Kong was not programmed for diagonal inputs (combinations), as it was physically impossible for a four way stick that the machine has, by default, to do diagonals. I don't think that Donkey Kong knows what to do with diagonal inputs, and that if would actually create dead spots in the controls of you used an eight way and went diagonal. Diagonal would be like letting go on the Joystick, as the program would treat a diagonal, or combination, input as nothing. Want proof? Emulation is actually the key, as the ROMs are actual arcade code, and you can literally use control options that are different than the arcade machine. Two other games that use four way joysticks are Pac Man and Burger Time. Play those on emulator with an eight way joystick or d-pad, and you won't have a good time. Burger Time, especially, requires tight tolerances for control with some of the platforms that you try to get onto on the board, where you get stuck playing with an eight way. If you play it with a controller with one of those XBOX 360 type sloppy disc D-Pad that keep going diagonal (good luck playing fighting games with that), you keep getting hung up, as it won't read the diagonal inputs, you get dead spots in the controls, and the game becomes much more difficult (and frustrating) than it should be. You need to use a proper D-Pad where you don't keep accidently going diagonal to play these games. A good test for seeing if a D-Pad is good or not is to play a fighting game such as Street Fighter Alpha 3, where diagonals have to be deliberate in order to pull off moves. How about Sub Zero's Freeze in the original Mortal Kombat (I bought the first three Mortal Kombats for the 360 and didn't play them because of the crappy, sloppy D-Pad disc on the 360 controller, which made playing those games extremely frustrating. Those game played fine on my PS3). Anyway, surprise, playing Donkey Kong with a sloppy D-Pad is aggravating, too, because you get dead spots in the control and literally stop moving when you go diagonal. Just like Pac Man, and just like Burger Time, which all use four way joysticks. Remember that these are all very early arcade games with limited memory, storage, and other specs, and code had to be extremely tight due to those limitations. If you were a programmer back then, would you code for diagonal inputs and add to program size if the machine could not do diagonals because the four way joystick made such inputs physically impossible? Donkey Kong plays fine on a Switch, which is the only port of the arcade game for any console, using the four buttons on the left JoyCon, a configuration which makes it difficult to do diagonals due to them being buttons, or on a Switch Lite, which has a great D-Pad. That eight way Joystick would have disqualified him because it was not a four way Joystick, which is what the arcade machine has. That would be the reason. Not because it made the game "easier" or allowed to steer barrels while on a ladder, moves which I think are not possible. If I were doing a score run on an arcade game designed for a four way, I would NOT use an eight way, as the diagonal dead spots would make the game more difficult, in my opinion. In my opinion, I don't think that he tried to do any kind of run on that machine (which would match the eyewitness deposition that she only saw him play for a short time. A score run in Donkey Kong takes hours, and that would have been obvious). I think that he played the game for a few minutes, found the control to be sloppy due to the stick being an eight way, and decided to call it a day. It is my opinion that they then used the machine for photo.
Goldeneye on the switch even with pro or fabled n64 controller from Nintendo. You feel floaty or on ice. I think the frame rate is too high or the controllers too sensitive or something. Plus they didn't turn it into a dual stick shooter the move is on the right stick not left. Also, n64 emulation has gotten better but its been a hard system to perfect emulation.
My favorite part of The Flash was when he beat up the pregnant lady, after force feeding drugs to minors that he wanted to groom for his sex cult. Awesome. 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
I'm gl ad E3 is going down because I hated how it's reation drew all of the industry away from the yearly Winter CES in Las Vegas. Why did I like that better? Simple. I've lived in Las Vegas since I was a bit over a year old (1981) and starting at the age of 10, I was able to go to ES every year and for free so basically I got to see all the amazing upcoming video game stuff for free and I didn't have e to plan a trip out to LA every year because I hate, hate, HATE visiting LA. The dri e is easy as it's less than 4 hours and can usually make it there on one tank of gas so that's not the issue. A score run in Donkey Kong takes hours, and that would have been obvious). I think that he played the game for a few minutes, found the control to be sloppy due to the stick being an eight way, and decided to call it a day. It is my opinion that they then used the machine for photo.

Hi pat
Goldeneye on the switch even with pro or fabled n64 controller from Nintendo. You feel floaty or on ice. I think the frame rate is too high or the controllers too sensitive or something. Plus they didn't turn it into a dual stick shooter the move is on the right stick not left. Also, n64 emulation has gotten better but its been a hard system to perfect emulation.
Just play the 64 version.
Well joycons can be used on pc without signing any agreements so that judges is very short sighted.
My favorite part of The Flash was when he beat up the pregnant lady, after force feeding drugs to minors that he wanted to groom for his sex cult. Awesome. 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
Sounds like the story of Eddie Plant
No, just having to deal with being in the LA and surrounding LA area for any reason.
And yes, I will admit, I was and still am bitter due to loosing the biggest video game convention of the year to E3.
i could be wrong didnt someone (director or producer) say the reason they didnt reales batgirl beacose it was so bad or something like that
I feel bad for the people who got suckered by that con man.
