    Cleveland my guy how long you think a jardini can live in a 150 before having to be upgraded

    How many hours of light do you run for the pothos tanks? I'm only running 4 hours of light but continue to struggle w the thick green hair algae. Any tips?
    Also can those golden barbs be w neon tetras?

    • @TheFishCorner
      @TheFishCorner  Месяц назад +1

      I keep the lights on for 8 - 10hrs everyday.

    • @TheFishCorner
      @TheFishCorner  Месяц назад +1

      Healthy plants will usually out compete algae for nutrients. I would also recommend getting some sort of algae eater. That will help.
      I don’t see any reason why golden barbs couldn’t be with neon tetras.

      @@TheFishCorner my crypts are thriving, I just can't shake this hair algae. I'll look into some algae eaters. Thanks.

    Hey I’m going through a mean diatom phase, is there anything I can do to get rid of it? Any products you recommend?

      Cut the lights off

    • @TheFishCorner
      @TheFishCorner  Месяц назад +1

      If you don’t have plants, you can definitely cut the lights off. Also limit feeding and increase your water change frequency.

      @@TheFishCorner I meant for salt water, I should’ve said that first lol it has corals and 3 fish in it. No sand swifters

    • @TheFishCorner
      @TheFishCorner  Месяц назад

      lol. That definitely changes things.
      Well, high nutrient levels is the cause of diatoms. I would suggest more water changes, less feeding, and shorten the length of time the lights are on.
