As much as we hate Valve for leaving the game in the dust with at most two people working on it at any given time, atleast they didn't do this to us. I'd rather keep the game we love and have bonded over than get something new and potentially inferior. Farewell overwatch.
I'm starting to think that tf2 is just immortal. This game is 15 years old and people are still playing it. It survived bot crisis and now, Tf2 just outlived Overwatch.
Imagine Valve makes TF3 but all they do is make Upward and Badwater take place at sunset, lock the support classes behind a pay wall, add some new hats, and of course, update the localization files.
"We see the engie, at the end of a long bloody road that has brought many, many trials. The F2P incursion, Gun Mettle, Tough Break, and Jungle Inferno's hellish balance breaks, the content drought, the Bot Invasion. Overwatch's competition was small potatoes compared to those other crises. The engie however remembered those that said that Blizzard's new shooter game, this "TF2 Killer" was to be feared and reckoned with. Now at the end of this road, seeing that despite everything, TF2 remained, and so has he. He sits back and revels in his and every other TF2 loyalist's victory, reflecting it all, with the simple gesture, of a smile."
This is the experience of when you've got this friend who is your rival, but he just passes away, you won, but there's this odd feeling that something isn't right...
TF2 wins by doing absolutely nothing

Never cared for Overwatch but it seems insane for them to actually shut down the servers for a game this big and only 6 years old.

The world didn't need any more heroes, just a couple mercenaries and a fortress between them.
You were good, son. Real good; maybe even the second best.
why is the engineer covered in blood? discuss below.
We won mr engi. . . We won
Is funny how a game whit no support and updates outlived a game whit a lot of support and updates
What do you mean Overwatch is a game and not a porn category?

In a weird way it's better to have absent developers than shitty developers
Gamers: "What happened?"
"was it worth it?"

TF2 is still a good game mate
It's even funnier the second time!
“Overwatch is the TF2 killer!” They said.
The real punchline is, this is a Source Filmmaker animation.
